šŸ‘ Lovely place to visit when in Vienna. Not impressed with the service from ā€˜get your guideā€™ who we booked this through but that is no fault of the venue, the venue is stunning! Music is beautiful. They offer refreshments for sale in the interval which would of been nicer if complimentary really at Ā£5... Lovely place to visit when in Vienna. Not impressed with the service from ā€˜get your guideā€™ who we booked this through but that is no fault of the venue, the venue is stunning! Music is beautiful. They offer refreshments for sale in the interval which would of been nicer if complimentary really at Ā£50/Ā£60 per ticket. If booking through ā€˜get your guideā€™ donā€™t waste your money booking the more expensive seats in the first 3 throws as thereā€™s only 4 rows in the room! A little bit of a con to advertise this as ā€˜Mozartā€™s first house in Viennaā€™ he only actually lived here for 6 weeks. Overall though a lovely experience.

Most important the music was great! The room we were supposed to be in was closed for repairs, we were not informed despite booking months in advance. The drinks and food at interval was served in a hallway that was anything but classy. Signage in the street could be better as well, it was hard to find. The lack of stars is for organisation not the music.

O loved the concert for a small audience. Competent musicians are interesting atmosphere. Do not expect a huge hall. Toilet not for disabled.

Musicians were very talented. Most tourists are not music sophisticates so more popular pieces would have been more generally appreciated. The seating was obscure. After being told first come first serve. We were assigned rows. Then after we were seated. We were asked to move to accommodate late comers. As a result we had less attractive seats.

A wonderful concert in which we participated during Christmas. If you are a fan of classical music and simply music, this is the place for you. Masterly recreate one of the greatest composers of classical music. The intimate atmosphere and beautiful interior design will satisfy even the most demanding listeners. Great acoustic. I highly recommend and will definitely be back again during next visit in Vienna.

The music was pleasant and the location is really nice - small period room with renaissance frescoes, right in the city center. What really annoyed us is that after purchasing overpriced 59 Euros tickets one month in advance, we were told on arrival that ā€˜we would hear the music but not see the performersā€™ due to being in the last row as ā€˜the place was fullā€™ and invited to ā€˜upgradeā€™ for 10 euros per person. This was clearly a bluff as there are only 4 rows and the place was half empty. We also were shown two extra chairs completely at the back and asked by some rude, junior staff to sit there ā€˜as everything else is fullā€™ and ā€˜this is what the computer assignedā€™ in spite again of being there early and empty rows ahead. Some politeness would go a long way in what is a lovely, premium place, instead of staff trying to coerce us into nonexistent ā€˜upgradesā€™.

This is like having your own, private concert. The musicians stand right in front of you, only a few feet away, not up on a stage, and they are masterful. The small room makes the sound experience sensational. It is a very enjoyable time.

Small intimate yet spectacular performance. Sitting starts at 30min before the performance so if you are the first ones to get there you get to enjoy the beauty of the venue mostly to yourselves for a few moments

A lovely place and beautiful performance. I'm happy I found this place and was able to buy tickets. It's worth the money and time. The performers made it fun and were enthusiastic and passionate. It is absolutely worth the money and time!

You have to arrive very early (45') since they assign seats in order of arrival. Magnificent chamber concert hall. There is room for about 50 people. The space is very small and it is very hot when it is full. The chairs are hard and uncomfortable. If the seat were replaced with other padding, it would have 5 stars. The baroque decoration, with scenes of cherubs, fauns and beautiful goddesses, gives it a baroque atmosphere where it is not difficult to imagine the maestro performing for some lascivious ecclesiastic of the time. The concert, based on works by Austrian musicians, magnificently performed by a young and yet expert string quartet.

Beautiful venue and amazing acoustics. The small ensemble sounded like a symphony. Skilled musicians playing pieces from famous composers. It is a treat to your senses.

There are no many seats, so you can listen to the concert from a very close distance. The sound may be calmer at the back than at the front. Restrooms are located in the building next door.

We came to Vienna for 4 days and wanted to see a classical music concert while here. Our tour guide showed us Mozart House and recommended this as a venue. It looked nice and intimate, so we decided to give it a try. I was a bit anxious beforehand, as we have 10 and 13 year old kids and I wasn't sure how they'd do sitting still and listening to 90 minutes of orchestral music. But, it was perfect. The musicians, a trio of piano, violin and cello, were all quite skilled and expressive in their playing. They choose an excellent selection of music with different pieces from the baroque, classical and romantic periods. The music was a selection from famous composers, including Bach, Mozart and Hayden, as well as some I did not know before, and none were overplayed or cliched. The pieces were all short, 4-8 minutes long, so it was easy to stay engaged, and there was a 10 minute intermission halfway through that allowed us all to get up and stretch our legs. This ended up being the highlight of our time in Vienna. Strongly recommend as a tourist experience!

Beautiful concert, very talented people! Great acoustics!

Great concert and excellent acoustics in the room. The organisers are very pleasant. However, the seating process could be more streamlined if they would allocate seats (not just the row number) before people enter the room as the room is small and chairs are packed. Organisers requesting attendees to move last-minute to accommodate people who arrive late when others who came early wanted and chose the "best" seats (rightfully so) left few people not-so-happy on the night i attented the event. It definitely affects the vibe of the room. The room is tiny so numbering chairs and getting it printed on the eticket should not be a big issue. Other than that the evening was wonderful and the string quartret was perfect. They even had funny anecdotes about the compositions which was very much appreciated.

A very small almost Art House Concert facility. Talented professional musicians doing a beautiful rendition of Mozart and other classical composers. Great value for the money

Blown away. I went there a couple of days ago, it was my first time hearing a string quartet. The location at sala terrena is truly spectacular, it complemented incredibly with the show. The performance of the quartet was an absolute pleasure; besides what you hear, in this place you are also close enough to really appreciate the difficulty of playing such instruments

Iā€™ve been to many classical concerts and nothing would top this one. The Salla Terrena provides an amazing sound to the ears and the fragments of gothic frescoes demonstrates the beautiful ancient feeling of the building. Both a historic moment and an agreeable evening surrounding by talented musicians.

Interesting concerts in a historic place. Very good location, historic costumes and good musicians (possibly very good, but I'm not an expert being able to distinguish this). Tickets are a bit expensive though, given that there are only four musicians playing. Recommended! Based on one visit!

Excellent musicians performed pieces including Mozart, Brahms, Haydn, and Bach. Lovely small hall (~60 people) with very good acoustics. Air conditioning was unobtrusive and kept the hall comfortable.
