Not even in Uganda this Hospital could survive. Hours and hours of waiting and in the end it's all matter of heads/numbers per day (like a small concentration camp). From my 5x Physiotherapy, three was canceled with no reason and one of the three was given an alternative appointment that was also canceled cause...the doctor didn't work there any more though they gave the Stamp to take the $$. Faaaar away the Austrians from German standards.

There are other hospitals in Vienna just go somewhere else. My experience in the ER of this hospital was extremely negative. I felt mistreated and neglected.

I had a mountainbike-crash and was first taking care of in Wr. Neustadt. Wr. Neustadt Spital: Really nice hospital, nice crew/doctors, they know how to treat kids.... Would recommend: 5 stars but this place (UKH Meidling) is a straight disaster... He had to be checked on there and came out with more bandages then I came in. I don't think that they aware of what this means but I'm still convinced that I'm feeling well and I'm not in need of any other medical supplements. Overall: Bad hospital, bad crew/doctors, don't know how to treat kids... Not recommended at all!

We were with our 2 years old child. Very attentive staff. The problem has been solved within few minutes. I can’t really say about adults experience but for a child it was on a high level. The hospital is also very modern.

Very dedicated, serious and careful doctors. I had to come here due to an accident, however I had already visited another hospital in Linz. This hospital here took really great deal of attention, asking important things and making sure I was fine. I am so relieved that I came here.

Pretty unfriendly and clueless! Transportation from hospital possible apparently only if you wait 4-5 hours so the patient has to leave a hospital by taxi for 43€! How well organised 😤👎👎👎👎

Get your expectations right. I had an accident and broke two fingers. I went straight to UKH Meidling. I had to wait almost 3 hours until they started with the X-Rays and after a while I got a cast. A few days later it was determined that I have to have surgery. The surgery went well but they are really, really bad at managing the expectations of patients. I had to wait two days in the hospital without eating or drinking for my surgery. What I was told beforehand was just to come at 7am the following day. Which lead me to believe that that would be my time for surgery. However, this is not how this hospital works. They can't give you a time for your surgery. They make up the slots as they go. If I had known that beforehand I'd probably have looked elsewhere. I was also not prepared for the (in total) 5 days of hospitalization. The staff vary - some are forthcoming and friendly, others are grumpy and have 0 social skills. Also, you can't book/pay for a private room - if you do you have to pay everything (including surgery) out of your own pocket.

Come on guys,I’m sure there are better ways to organize so people don’t have to wait 4 hours(with appointment ) and a small fortune in parking fees for a consult…

At the moment of composing this review I was very surprised to see over 50% of unsatisfied patients. I went to the hospital to examine head injury that potentially could had been a concussion. Very friendly staff and zero bureaucracy. I guess that it's just a result of lack of understanding how tough job the hospitals in general are doing.

Went to the association today. Why you wait 3 hours and then wait another 1 hour in a small room is a mystery to me. What the doctor does 20 minutes between patients is also a mystery to me. Doctor very unfriendly :-( Next time again Böhlerspital.

We waited as well long, but absolutely normal for any of such a hospitals departments. Doctors were friendly and röntgen too. So when there is a nice attitude we don t pay much attention for waiting.

If there were no star. I would prefer it! I took my partner to the emergency room today after a fall with a bruised, swollen and painful knee. After 5 minutes we were referred to an X-ray institute. Are there no more x-rays there? Even in the X-ray Institute this procedure could not be understood. With the x-rays I was lucky that my orthopedist spontaneously inserted them and explained the images to us. You really ask yourself why you have been working and paying contributions for 40 years. Apparently we are the wrong clientele for this hospital!!!

Don’t bother making appointments, they never respect them. Just sit down and wait 7 hours at least you have it on the same day and don’t have to wait for 5 weeks

The WORST PLACE . 2ND TIME IN 3 YEARS. NOBODY CARES, I AM HERE WITH BROKEN BONES AND I HAD TO SIT AND WAIT IN LINE FOR 3,5 HOURS IN PAIN, JUST TO GET EXAMINED BY RANDOM DOCTOR. NO INFORMATION GIVEN. PLUS, I WAS WALKING 2 HOURS TO COME HERE WHILE CONNECTIONS ARE ALSO VERY BAD AND CONFUSING. VERY VERY BAD HOSPITAL AND EXPERIENCE. IF YOU ARE IN PAIN THEY MOST PROBABLY KEEP YOU WAITING UNTIL YOU DIE. DONT GO THERE. SHAME ON ALL OF YOU.

Worst Hospital in Austria

TOP, TOP, TOP! Unser Sohn wurde vor einer Woche nach einem schweren Autounfall ins UKH eingeliefert und liegt auf der Intensivstation. Die bisherigen OPs wurden sehr rasch und ohne Komplikationen durchgeführt. Ich muss sagen, dass dies ein erstklassiges Ärzte- & Schwestern-Team ist und alle sind super bemüht, hilfsbereit und äußerst freundlich! Die Betreuung ist mehr als zufriedenstellend! Ich kann mich immer nur wiederholen! Es wurde/wird erstklassige Arbeit geleistet! Diese Betreuung und auch alles drumherum kannte ich bislang von keinem anderen Spital/Krankenhaus! Da kann man nur den Hut vor diesem Team ziehen!

Kann ich nur sehr empfehlen, egal ob auf der Intensivstation oder dann auf der normalen Pflegestation, die Schwestern, Ärzte und Pfleger waren alle hervorragend. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich den Pfleger Christoph, der immer gut gelaunt, sehr zuvorkommend, sich auf jedem Patienten einschießt. Aber auch alle anderen waren super. Wie gesagt, ich kann es nur empfehlen.

Ich kann dieses Krankenhaus nur empfehlen, es wurde eine geplante Operation am Kreuzband vorgenommen und es hat wirklich alles gepasst. Das medizinische Betreuungspersonal ist stets hilfsbereit und super freundlich. Die Ärzte sehr kompetent und nett. Auch für die Aufklärung haben sich die Ärzte genug Zeit genommen, sodass alle Unklarheit beseitigt wurden.

Melden Sie sich noch heute an, vielleicht sind Sie morgen an der Reihe. Ich habe fast 3 Stunden auf eine Schmerzspritze gewartet. Obwohl ich meine Schizophrenie darlegte und meinen Bericht vorlegte, wurde mir gesagt, dass ich noch mindestens 1 Stunde warten müsse. Ich erklärte, dass ich zu Mittag essen und meine Medikamente einnehmen müsse. Aber ich musste warten. Ich verließ das Krankenhaus ohne Behandlung. Ich muss meine Medikamente gegen Schizophrenie einnehmen. Wegen der Schmerzen in meinem Bein werde ich vielleicht 10 Schmerzmittel kaufen. Es ist schrecklich. Es ist ein Krankenhaus und das Personal ist zum Spaß da

Before going for a scheduled surgery with Dr. Biersteker Pavelka, I read the Google reviews about the hospital and I was terrified that everyone would be either incompetent or very rude. This could not be any more different than my experience! I went 4 times before the surgery and then spent one night there, so I don't think I got just lucky because I had to Visit different departments and talk to several people. Everyone was polite, kind and helpful ever though my German is far from advanced, and I had a great experience there. If i could use 6 out of 5 stars, I would!

Went there with a Überweisung and still waited 3 hours, its ridiculous how their system works. People who have been there for their second time have priority over first timers. Your going to wait long no doubt.

Alle waren sehr nett trotz großen Andrangs (ambulant). Wartezeit war für die vielen Leute wirklich okay. Hatte nicht das Gefühl, dass einen die Ärzte einfach schnell abfertigen wollen, sie haben sich genügend Zeit genommen. Wenn was passiert, gerne wieder dorthin 👍🏻

Mein Opa wurde wegen einem schweren Bruch operiert. Wurde dann nach Hause entlassen obwohl er nichtmal von alleine mit den Krücken gehen konnte 1 Tag später ist er zu Hause verstorben. Ich würde niemanden empfehlen in diesem Spital eine Operation empfehlen, diesen Verlust kann keiner ersetzen.

My brother got a bruised hand on football, and this place was the closest - and as it is written”Unfallshilfsstelle Zentrum”. We arrived at 12:30. Only at 19:30 in the evening, after 3 x-rays, one MRA and review by 3 different “doctors”, and only dissatisfaction from our side at the reception, he was finally given a gibs. This was the most horrible experience with hospital in our lives. We have been lived in 4 countries, but this kind of discriminatory attitude we have never seen. My 16 years old brother was feeling pain for 6 hours. Btw they did not want to give us the X-ray pictures, that we could drive to another hospital.

Simply TOP!!! A huge thank you to all the doctors, nurses, carers, therapists and everyone else on ward 3. For some nurses, even the 5 stars are not enough. Super competent, super friendly and super organized. Despite the relatively long wait times for an appointment and admission, this is the best hospital experience of my life...and I've had a few.

During my planned wrist surgery, I felt well looked after from start to finish. Dr. Pavelka led the operation wonderfully, but also everyone else involved, from setting up the venous access to the anesthetist and her team to the day clinic, everyone was focused on their task and at the same time looked after me well (I think there were 80 of them). % women at work). Even the civil servant who showed me through the hospital corridors tried to say a few kind words. I hardly expected this in this huge company and was pleasantly surprised. During the follow-up treatment there were waiting times of around 1 hour, but that is also the case in other hospitals.

The gentleman. Dr. Greiner from Shoulder Ambulance is one of the best doctors I have seen and treated in my entire life, it is very pleasant and very peaceful to know how seriously he takes his work and how important my health is to him. ..

Very friendly, competent and attentive staff. Of course you have to wait, but you should plan for this at every doctor's appointment.
