Really bad service when it comes to waiting times at the ambulance 4-5 hours at times, telephone information, little availability of the various units, eg. Kieferorthopädie is very difficult to reach and get information from. Last time we were ordered to an appointment and then we were told, we basically came for nothing because at that early stage nothing can be done. Conclusion: A LOT of your time and energy is taken for lost motion and one feels some staff there doesn't really care professionally enough for their patients. One doesn't really feel being taken seriously.

I do not recommend. The competence of doctors raises questions. The child complained about a kind of pain in the tooth. We came here, doctors examined tooth (everybody was very polite) and told that no point to worry, it is just because the new tooth is growing. OK... about 10 days later pus began to flow under the teeth. We immediately came here again for removal, but they assigned only antibiotics (but according to x-ray photo, I consulted later with another dentist M.D., they MUST been to remove the tooth that day), and made an appointment for removal after a week of taking antibiotics. Well... we came after a week by appointment for a child milk-tooth removal. They inject anesthesia, and almost immediately tried to pull it out (before the anesthesia began to act), as a result, the child started to cry, and they didn’t find anything better than to send us to another clinic more than an hour away. On the question "why you can't do it yourself?" I received an answer "because she is crying". Of course, she will cry, before making such statement I would suggest they remove their own tooth without anesthesia from themselves (or almost immedeately after injection). But the next day they sent the bill for the anesthesia, although they did nothing. More, because of their wrong diagnosis and incompetent actions, another tooth was infected, and we have to remove two instead of one. I kindly suggest everybody to think twice before come here.

We took my 5 years old son on a Sunday because of tooth pain. The doctor who handled him (S. Rechlinger) lost patience when my son started to cry and did not have a nice tone + made remarks about other patients with pain waiting. When I pointed that to him he got angry and told me I should not come on weekends. Which is against all purpose of why the place is open. Emergencies handling when no regular doctor works. If it is an emergency service, the doctors must take the weekend work as well without complaints and effects on patients.

I was sent here to remove my wisdom tooth. Tried to make an appointment but they didn’t do it and told me that I can come any time to their ambulance (I have their email as a proof). I came today, spend here more than an hour and they refused me and told that I have to make an appointment and wait. Completely chaos. Will never come back.

I had an overall very good experience at this clinic. I had over 15 sessions for over more than a year, and my teeth were always very well cared for, will all procedures being well cominicated, and appointments were on time.

It was clean and everyone also speak English; the students seemed knowledgeable and they put a lot of time to answer all of your questions kindly. They were also really sympathetic and always asked or informed before doing anything in my mouth (which was really nice) But the waiting line was just too long and slow; I was sitting in the waiting room for almost 2 hours. Plus, I still don’t know if they had the right treatment for me. We’ll see about that :)))

I got my tooth destroyed there by some young student in January 2022. She drilled away a big part of my real tooth and replaced the wrong filling. Since then I had problems and pain and been going to different dentists trying to fix what she destroyed, it did not work out and now I will loose my tooth. I already lost almost two years of my life due to the pain.

Friendly, competent, holistic, state-of-the-art All students that treated me here did a really good job! I can only recommend putting your trust in this clinic, especially for getting everything done. When I first came here, I was terribly afraid of dentists. That changed completely to the point that I actually enjoy coming here because I feel taken seriously with all my feelings and fears. The student was super nice, patient, and explained all procedures thoroughly to me. I did come there often over the course of a year, but that also ment that there was no rush which is advantageous for some treatments. After each session, a dentist would quickly look over the work and give feedback. Overall it's fair to say that I haven't seen this level of quality care for teeth anywhere else (and I've had my share of different dentists)

I was there today and I really have to thank you!!! On Friday evening I got caught on a seal with my dental floss and almost tore it out. I then went to the emergency dental service and the doctor had replaced the seal and unfortunately drilled the tooth nerve in the process. As a result, she was in massive pain and went to the emergency dental clinic today. Everyone was very friendly, very thoughtful and tried hard, I got 2 anesthetic injections, but since I was still in pain, instead of trying, I was prescribed antibiotics and painkillers instead. Re-presentation as soon as the pain has subsided with a final root canal treatment. I felt very comfortable and in good hands - I'm usually a scaredy-cat, but here my fear was unfounded! TOP 👍🏻

Most student-doctors are super nice, friendly and helpful. The so called “professors” are much less. Waiting times are ridiculously long (about 2-3 hours) and there is lack of communication between the different departments and registration processes that make it long and messy stay.

I came out in substantially more pain than I came in. Been told I can get my surgery in maybe 6-8 weeks. Avoid if you've got a better option.

The quality of the work varies widely depending on the student you get. I got one who did a great job but the next time another who did badly. Supervisors only do so much of quality control, so it's more of a gamble, which I would not recommend again. Good experience with the functional disorders-unit, so sad they aren't with the health insurance anymore.

the main receptionists are friendly. The receptionists in the clinica are noisy and rude. really really long waiting time just to make appointment by appointment. they don’t fix problem immediately. so you spend a lot of time waiting.

I went here because 2 teeth were damaged in an accident 1,5 years ago. Both front upper teeth (11 and 21), initially healthy teeth before the accident. During the treatment I got water all over my head, dust and water, pieces, everything was flying into my face( that had obvious eksema spots) and into the eyes( they didn't try anything to cover at least somehow) . All the time it felt like the students are fixing teeth first time in their life. Now 1,5 year later both teeth have massive caries under fillings, one tooth needed root canal treatment due to caries. I live in another country now and have to pay big dental bills to fix all the mess they did. One star is too much for that kind of service.

Having had dental problems, I have been to a lot of dentist clinics and this here is one of them. The student dentist who attended to me was helpful and had me checked up sooner than I thought. Can’t complain, the service was just fine, normal procedure!

I just went hi to get a quote for a crown. They made me wait 1:45am just to tell me I needed an x-ray - without that they can't provide a quote. After waiting another 30 minutes for the x-ray, I gave up. The problem is that the ranking is based on “medical relevance”. Ie if you are not in severe pain or it is not an emergency, then avoid this clinic - unless you have all day for it.

university dental clinic sensengasse, level 6 It must be a very stupid coincidence that after waiting on the waiting benches in the aisle, I had a herniated disc the next day. You can even read on the internet what seating furniture should be like. Dilettantism is often confused with “modern”.

I got 3-4 mm thick and high and very tight and hard, uncomfortable mouth guard for lower teeth which created me more overjet , painful backwards tilt, pressure on teeth so it was almost impossible to remove the splint, it cause more destabilization and sharp pain of my TMJs, headaches and vertigos which I did not have before coming to Vienna, and terrible pain in chewing muscles, neck muscles and spine instead of relief. Their splint was made in contradiction with their own measurements which did not show bigger space than 0.5 mm. The splint destroyed my cusps on 2 molars and I lost ability to chew with fragile symmetric balance. The splint worsened my pain and destabilized my health situation. The head of prosthodontics refused to continue reshaping of my flat biting surfaces with old flat amalgam fillings in order to help me and she sent me away as I did not announce that I would feel "painfree" with her splint. Her splint is too thick, too high, only for lower teeth, one type must fit all patients. DO NOT GO THERE, it is fraudulent, cheating approach for over 2000 EUR.

Don’t EVER go there if you don’t have a real emergency. Students destroyed my tooth with root canal, I have never such in pain before. After treatment, it got worse with swelling and pain because of infection. I wish I would have considered negative comments before.

I was at the clinic this morning and I don't understand the negative comments at all! From the reception to the x-ray and then to the dentist, everyone was super nice... it took less than 30 minutes. After a while I was already released and my tooth problem was solved...👍

I have to get rid of this. I was in the outpatient clinic in October 2023 because of a very severe toothache downstairs. When I was called, I was very afraid, but the lovely doctor there took away my fear. Unfortunately, I can't remember the name anymore. The doctor removed it from me within 5 minutes Minutes the two lower teeth after a long talk I decided because I am a patient with anxiety that I would continue to be treated there but unfortunately in the student company I had an appointment there in March and said that I would like a general anesthesia as I have always had problems for a long time With my teeth I was told they only operate twice a year, you just have to let it melt in your mouth and something like that is called a clinic. Everyone I tell this to shakes their head, it's not normal. You should be more aware of the patient's fear and accept it if you want to have general anesthesia. And thanks to this clinic I can now look for a dentist because it's so easy as an anxious patient 😡 There is one star because I was treated well in the outpatient clinic.

Pros: - clean; - people are friendly and made an effort to either speak English or to speak German more slowly so that I could fully understand; - professionalism. cons: - you might have to wait a bit. All and all it was pretty good, specially if I factor the fact that I did not paid for anything.
