This was one of the best food tours I have been on. Harry, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable and fun. In fact, we have concluded he is the most interesting man in all of Vienna. The variety was excellent and there was more than enough food to keep us full from breakfast through lunch. We really enjoyed this tour and highly recommend it.

Fabulous food tour today in early November 2023. 6 stops in the itinerary ... the tour went from 14:30-17:30 and took us through central Vienna to fab foodie spots that only locals know about. 10/10 Highly recommended.

The most amazing tour I have been on in a long time! We booked this tour last minute while on a trip to Vienna. Our tour guide Harry was so knowledgeable, kind and funny. We had so much food, we were glad we missed breakfast and were too full for lunch! If you are even slightly considering this tour and you like food, take it, you will no regret it!!

Fabulous food tour with Harry. He took the time to walk us through the origins of the Austrian food, arranged a well rounded trip and we never felt rushed. Favorite was the Ham and Wine bistro!

Harry (owner a tour guide) was funny, organized, and informative. More food than our group of 7 could eat. Plenty of beverages. Harry gave us the insights and linguo a true Viennese would use in their regional food culture. We booked night before when another tour was canceled. How fortunate for us we got to enjoy Harry instead!

Thanks for an amazing wine and food tour. We absolutely recommend these tours to anyone. We had such a great time with our guide, Harry, who has great personality and so much good info about the food and wine scene in Vienna. Everything we had was delicious! We recommended these tours to family and they also loved the experience! We’re loving the Austrian BBQ salt all the way in America!

Excellent tour! Went to truly local locations and places we never would have thought to go! The guide was such a resource for all the vest places in Vienna. We have done a few food tours, and this one was one of the best!

Harry and this tour were absolutely the best! I am not a foodie at all-this tour was recommended by our travel agent-it was so much fun learning about food/history/culture in Vienna. The perfect amount of everything! It was raining on our tour day-did not matter at all! We stayed dry walking around the beautiful Vienna streets and alleyways while sampling authentic food! So much fun!

Had a great culinary tour… just perfect. It's best to book at the beginning of the trip so that you can get lots of tips for interesting restaurants, cafés, etc.

Harry was a phenomenal guide. The wines were all great, the service was prompt, the servers were friendly. Would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone looking to get the perfect mix of classic Austrian wines with a hint of their historical heritage.

Harry was excellent! I brought my 3 daughters (ages 19 - 25) and they considered this tour a highlight of our trip! I would suggest booking early enough in your stay so that you have some time to revisit the places he shows you - you will feel like a true citizen. :) Really a wonderful mix of history, culture, food and wine.

We joined the wine tour and can highly recommend it! We had an excellent guide, tasted some delicious wines at four very nice wine bars in the center of Vienna. A great evening!

I have done a lot of food tours around the world and this was one of the best I've had as it was so unexpected as I had not idea about Austrian food or wine. The tour was well thought out in terms of what to eat at certain times it takes around 4 hours we went to more than 6 places that included desert, cheese, meat, veg, chocolate and amazing vinegars from a local supplier that he can get discount on for you. It included a little walk between each place that was really good as got you ready for the next course and you also do a wine tasting of 3 wines in a cellar restaurant that you have to yourself. All in all it's super well thought out and Lukas is a great tour guide he's a chef so has a huge amount of knowledge about all the food that you are trying but also the passion came across he had such a passion for Austrian culture and food and that's what you want from a tour guide. Book early before it gets too full. It's well worth it.

(Translated by Google) The beer tour was really fun and we even learned a lot about beer. At the end we even tried some exotic beers. For us it was a happy and successful evening, gladly again. (Original) Die Biertour hat richtig Spaß gemacht und wir haben sogar viel Wissenswertes über Bier erfahren. Wir haben zum Schluss raus sogar einige exotische Biere probiert. This was a great tour. The explanations of what we were doing were very interesting. The tour operator is a chef who knows a lot of interesting history. He also took us to a private wine cellar for the end of the tour. It was a great way to start our three days in Vienna!

Phenomenal food tour in the center of Vienna. We kicked-off our weekend trip in Vienna with this tour, allowing us to be taken through the local delicacy's by Lukas on both public as private locations on day one. Very friendly and easy going tour with also gaining some great local restaurant/food tips from Lukas to try(and to avoid the tourist traps)! Highly recommended tour!

We joined a craft beer tour and got to know some fine pubs in Vienna, in the last place we visited we could even order a few beers from the menu - whichever we wanted to have! Not only did Lukas guide us through the city, he also took his time to explain the basics of beer brewing, history of the locations we visited and didn’t hesitate to just give us a great time. Even for a seasoned inhabitants of Vienna, I discovered a few places I didn’t know yet :) A creative and nice way to start an evening out!

The previous reviews have no chance of being legitimate. We are currently on a three month sabbatical and have done tours with Secret Food Tours and Hidden Streets. Both offer immensely superior tours. Food stops 1) Terrible apple strudel 2) Cheap cheese board at the tourist market 3) Free sample of candies 4) Free sample of chocolates 5) Street meat 6) Butcher cold cuts Guide refuses to give the history of anything in the city. Quite literally “this is a good tour not a history tour, you have to book that seperate.” Mostly empty conversation. Not informative in the slightest. A complete and utter waste of our time.

This was a last-minute addition to our Vienna itinerary, and we were happy we found it. Our guide, Harry, was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. We thought the stops were well-curated for both quality and variety. We sampled coffee and pastries, local cheeses, meats, breads, and wines, and several kinds of candy, including chocolates. We had a great time! Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our food tour of Vienna with Harry, who is easy to connect with and easy going. Our group was small-only four participants plus Harry, this lent us to getting to know each other a bit. We tasted foods that we never would have known about or tried on our own. Examples are loaves made of different types of meat baked in a bread pan (meatloaf), a dense bread (combination of rye & wheat) with various toppings, hard and jellied candies from a local candy making shop. My personal favorite was a local ham (shaved) and white wine pairing. The food tour was a lovely way to pass a few hours while also learning more about the Viennese food culture. I recommend taking this tour if you have the chance.

Absolutely recommendable! Harry was a fantastic guide, we had a fun & small group and 8 unique and very tasty culinary stops. The combination of exploring the city, the knowledge shared, the food experiences organized and the time spent is very well thought of. Best experience so far in a 5-day trip to Vienna!

Harry was awesome! The food tour consisted of 8 stops, each one being a wonderful treat. Harry was very knowledgeable on all the Austrian foods and wines. Loved the coffee and apple strudel, candy store and chocolate. Sorry, I love my sweets. Everything else was delicious too. Harry also provided much valued advice for our stay in Vienna. 2 thumbs up!!

The best of food tour Vienna was a delightful culinary journey through the heart of the city. The diverse selection of dishes showcased the rich flavors of Austrian cuisine. Harry, our tour guide provided fascinating insights into the city's food culture, making it an excellent experience for both food enthusiasts and those new to Viennese delicacies. A perfect blend of history, culture, and, of course, mouthwatering treats. Highly recommended!

We did the 2.5 hour tour. It was my parents and me. We were so disappointed in this tour. We were expecting a great tour with great food based on the reviews. The tour seemed very disorganized at the first couple of stops. We started with a restaurant that serves basically the equivalent of Spam sandwiches. None of the participants in the tour enjoyed this and one of the slices of “meat” was actually horse meat which he did tell us about. We threw most of this food away. The next stop was outside a sausage street vendor which was closed. He spent quite a bit of time telling us how the Viennese order their sausage - using terms like puss for cheese and eyeballs for onions. The next stop was a candy shop which was interesting but it would have been nice to see them actually make the candy not just watch it on the TV. There was a room where other customers watched the candy making. The next few stops were nicer but we started to run out of time so for the best places of the tour we were more rushed. The tour has snack food but no small plates of dinner items. The last place was in a very cool wine cellar and we were served a nice pour of white wine and a pour of red wine. These wines were okay- nothing spectacular like most of the wine in Vienna. Lucas, our guide, was not very friendly and did not give us recommendations or information you would expect from a tour. We were very disappointed since we only had a couple days to spend in Vienna and we could have spent this time better. The best part of the tour was meeting the other people in our group. We had a delightful time with them.

We had the pleasure of taking part in the Best of Tour and can highly recommend it! During the tastings you not only get to know the culinary diversity of Vienna, but also learn interesting and entertaining stories about the local cuisine. Thank you for this wonderful experience and hospitality.
