All menus are priced in dollars. (As of the end of june, 2022, edited by owner’s request) Food is great. The atmosphere is good and the staff are friendly. The space outside is beautiful, but it was too hot,, so, We had a dinner inside. Anyways, it is enough to recommend.

Lovely cozy place. Staff are well trained and kind. Menu price are reasonable and big portion as well. For the food, it wasn’t bad but balance of the taste wasn’t harmonious for me. We ordered goat cheese salad, but almost couldn’t find cheese and sauce was too strong. Steak was pretty good as suprisly soft. Bluecheese gnocchi was a bit tasteless though. +owner doesn’t interesting to get feedback only need good reviews 🤣

A nice and quite romantic french restaurant, with fantastic service. Mery, the manager is lovely host, she welcomed us gracefully. This place was a family house converted to a restaurant. Suitable for private functions.

Visited Sept '23 and just 2 days ago again for the PaellaParty. Was looking forward to another culinary experience. However, it was underwhelming. Paella was far from authentic as advertised when you know the real thing. Setting and service were again excellent.

If you are looking for a restaurant with quiet ambience and great food, this is the best one you could find in Vientiane. Great options on cocktails, mocktails, smoothies and other drinks. You also have vegetarian options in the menu! They welcome suggestions and great service from the team overall. Tried chocolate fondant and gnocchi. Enjoyed both!

We recently visited Home Vientiane and we must say, we were blown away by the food. It's the best meal we had in Vientiane since arriving a week ago. The crispy chicken salad, duck confit and tenderloin steak were all cooked to perfection. The flavors were exquisite and comparable to other "branded" French restaurants that we have tried outside of Laos. But the food isn't the only thing that makes Home Vientiane stand out - the service was impeccable as well. The staff were attentive and friendly, making sure that everything was just right throughout the meal. Overall, we would highly recommend Home Vientiane to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. The food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent, and I would strongly recommend this as a "must-go" for anyone visiting Vientiane.

Home was highly recommended by a friend, the tables were very close to each other, although the staff were very kind and friendly it was slow service. We reserved Lebanese menu, which was supposed to be Kebab but it was a mix of lamb, chicken and salad Shawerma. Nothing to do with Kebab. The main dish came after 1,5 hour. This is our experience, but we heard our friends had good experience.

Charming, beautiful setting with great ambience, beautiful music and gracious hospitality. We enjoyed delicious soups. Carrot 🥕 and pumpkin, two salads goat cheese, and chicken mango, a burger with house fries, perfectly cooked scallops and lamb chops. All were perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The homemade desserts were excellent. The wait staff were lovely. By far, my new favourite restaurant in Vientiane!

Home has a lovely, quiet garden for dining. Its really very relaxing and pleasant. Started the meal with a dry martini. Nicely done but I think using their infused gin was a mistake - next time I will order with a less aggressive gin like Hendrick's. Had beef tataki to begin. Quality beef perfectly seared accompanied by crisp onion rings. Excellent. Continued with the duck confit. Very flavorful duck leg and cubed potato saute on the side. My wife had duck breast that was flavorful and perfectly cooked. Both dishes had sauces that were too strong for the meat and so we left the sauce untouched. All together a nice relaxing place to dine. Many other items on the menu that will bring us back especially now that the weather is perfect.

Absolutely had a phenomenal dining experience at Home restaurant in Vientiane! The atmosphere was inviting and the service was top-notch. But let's talk about the food— the côte de bœuf was simply excellent. Cooked to perfection and full of flavor, it was a carnivore's dream come true. The sides were also very well-prepared, complementing the main dish wonderfully. As for the wine, the French selection offered was impressive. We opted for a Bordeaux that was delicious. It’s rare to find such a well-curated wine list with such reasonable pricing. Overall, Home is a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in a high-quality meal while in Vientiane. Highly recommend!
