Terrible! This hotel needs to be renovated. How is it still functioning? The room smells disgusting the moment you walk in. Ancient amenities in the room, bathroom ceiling had tons of holes in them. Aircon made me sick (I am assuming it was the aircon? Or could it have been the smell of mold in the room?) Everything is just so unkempt. It's a shame that a certain visa agency still uses them for paying customers! There's a better hotel just several meters away. Wifi is trash in the room.

I thought I was getting a non-sharing room but my roommates (the roaches of varying shapes and sizes) would beg to differ! If you want a cold shower, ice cold breakfast, a roof full of cobwebs and unwanted pests then this is the place to be!

The staff are friendly, and they can speak and understand English. Rooms are cozy with air con units installed. There were many different channels with varying languages on the TV. The bathrooms could do better with a little more cleaning and refinement. The water pressure goes from high to low as well as when it's going from cold to hot. The menu is decent and palatable. My major disappointment is the instability of the free internet provided. My phone occasionally disconnects from the internet from time to time. Overall, this hotel is a cozy place to stay for a few nights and meets my needs.

Good for its price. Clean room. Aircon is good and sufficient. No detected odour. The room facing the street gives you added value. Food is just right for Asian taste buds. The internet connection was good for pdfs and even Youtube. I did not experience any interruption. My 2nd time in this hotel.

It's good, but the wifi is unstable, hard to connect and the speed is slow.

No. Clean but not enough. The food is left out and flies wre everywhere .Safe but the remnants of kicked in doors reminds you of that illusion... Seedy to a fault. If you are not here for this walk to the many cleaner options down the road.

A few kilometers to the Thai Embassy which is a convenient location if you are for Thai visa processing. But some of the cons are cleanliness---thick dust never been vacuumed for quite a long time could be noticed in and on the carpet floor AND the choices of food is limited to meat, meat, and only meat and a vegetable salad dressed with mayonnaise! The menu cariety is not friendly for those that cares for their longevity and health and beauty lols ;) eiei

This is one of the hotels booked by the Meesuk travel agency every exit to Laos. I've been here twice already. The whole building seems to be ok. The internet is ok though not that fast. So far I can still view FB photos and videos. The internet may not work that good in the rooms. The lobby has the strongest signal. The public CR is one of the things I wanted them to improve. It's not that neat and hygienic. The hotel has 2 working elevators. The rooms are spacious. The room's toilet has hot and cold water. Sometimes I don't understand the faucet though. The room is clean and tidy. It has cable TV, blower, air condition unit. The bed's are comfy, below average though for a hotel.

Clean and decent rooms. Food is good. Very near Thai Embassy if you are on a visa run. They have to improve their WiFi service though. Get the rooms on the lower floors if you are in desperate need of continuous coverage, since the routers are located on the main lobby of the hotel.

Nice enough. A little rough around the edges. Staff are good. Could be cleaner but this is Asia. Breakfast is adequate. Noodles rice eggs little pork sausages. Congee.juice. tea. Coffee... Has all the things you need for a short or long stay.

Just ok if you need to stay 1-2 nights. It was a good hotel a time ago, but now everything in rooms is old and broken.

There's seem to be no switch control for heater in the bathroom. Maintenance can't wait to kick you out to check out. Hope they would be polite next time. Wifi suddenly gets disconnected and hard to reconnect again in the middle of the night. Beware of tuktuk/motorbike service outside... They ripped off tourist/foreigners with high price fares.

Flies/Mosquito infested, terrible food, rundown rooms, unfriendly staff. Have stayed here a few times when doing a visa run for Bangkok so it was always part of a package, but if given the choice... I would never stay in this place.

It's not expensive and have breakfast but menu not change. You will bored with breakfast in long stayed. It very noisy if a lot of guests come because a door and walls very thin, too much noise can come to your room.

The hotel maybe could be 3 star. The hotel is a one star hotel or 2 star rooms on the lower floor rooms on the entry level clean and not nice The rooms on the up floor are relatively clean and nice The bathrooms are good. hotel tΕ«m says there is internet in the rooms but no internet in the room No internet access in all rooms there is internet in a single lobby the breakfast is very bad no machine coffee there is tea No machine coffee not machine coffee just have nescafe You're having breakfast in big tables for 10 people with your friend in private With your friend tete-a-tete impossible to make breakfast the seat covers are very dirty and smell very dirty 1 star for all of these

It is only a 3 star hotel. You should pay only the room not include breakfast because it is awful. We must have breakfast outside the hotel.

Was alright. No tv or heater in our room. Aquariums in the lobby smelled like somebody farted nonstop. Internet was quite well. Food was great.

Filthy hotel. Broken chairs in rooms. Very noisy guests even at reception area. Cockroaches roaming. Dusty smelly carpets in rooms. Disgusting. 😫

  • 2/5 Janette B. 5 years ago on Google
The room smelled like dogs. The bed was clean though. There was a hot and cold shower which you can't control that well. Needs maintenance, tbh.

Not bad for price staff pleasant and helpful. Free wifi. No safe in room.

  • 3/5 Jason W. 6 years ago on Google
Decent room for the price. Close to the Thai Embassy, but about 50,000 kip (200 baht) to the town center. Friendly staff, most speak pretty good English if you're not fluent in the local languages. Cold air con and a few English channels on cable for your down time. Recommended for the traveller that wants hostel prices, but a private room.

A nice hotel to rest at for a short stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside being the bathrooms could have better service as it can be smelled in the lobby sometimes.

When I went to Laos we checked in to this hotel. The food is good, the rooms are clean, the bed is soft and many people stay in the hotel. I only had the wifi connection problem because the connection is poor. But all in all I had a great experience here.

Relaxing place. You will enjoy your stay here. It is a safe place also because there is a lot of security cameras. And the place is very convenient because it is near by the cities.

Expensive and low standered rooms around the back of the main hotel. I felt ripped off to be honest taxi driver brought me there from the border saying it was cheap but he'll no it's far far too expensive and I would dodge it. Find a guest house they are much cheaper.
