Eigentlich würde ich gar keinen Stern geben, wenn das ginge. Ich bin seit 30 Jahren hier in Deutschland und wurde bei einem Arzt noch nie so abgefertigt. Die Ärztin war im Stress und hat sich keine Zeit genommen. Sie hat sich mir nicht einmal vorgestellt. Meine Augen hat sie kaum untersucht und sie war sauer, dass ich einen Notfalltermin bekommen hätte, obwohl ich nichts Schlimmes habe. Genau das wollte ich ja herausfinden, weil mein Optiker mir das geraten hat. Als ich eine Frage stellen wollte, meinte sie, die würde sie mir beim nächsten Termin in 3 Monaten beantworten und ich solle doch bitte jemanden mitbringen, der gut deutsch spricht. Ich bin selbstständig und habe mehrere Firmen hier aufgebaut. Über meine Sprache hat sich noch niemand beschwert. Leider leben wir in einer Gesellschaft, wo man einen Job nur fürs Geld und nicht aus Leidenschaft macht.

It's been almost a year since my surgery. The practice treated is in Germering and here you feel like you are in good hands and treated very professionally. I had cataracts and very poor eyesight. In the Germeringer practice I was therefore advised to have an operation. Of course I was open to the topic, because I could hardly see anything anymore and the quality of life wasn't at its peak either. Since I have private insurance, I had the opportunity to have both eyes operated on in one day. The surgical center is located in Neu-Ulm, so I was booked a hotel room directly nearby (2 minutes on foot), which I found very friendly and accommodating. On the day of the operation I was a little overwhelmed by the number of people who wanted to have the operation. Nevertheless, the staff (from the doctor's assistant to the anesthetist) at the surgical center are friendly and try to please everyone. My operation was carried out by Dr. Eckert through. The follow-up examination the next day was carried out by another doctor (name unfortunately unknown). I had general anesthesia during the operation, which I tolerated well. The aftercare was also absolutely satisfactory for me. To date, a year later, I have had several (follow-up) examinations. Lt. According to the doctor, the operation went very well and the follow-up examinations were all positive. Now for my 2* rating. The result of the operation on the right eye is more than satisfactory. Whether far or near, I see absolutely razor-sharp, without any discomfort. Excellent! Unfortunately, the left eye didn't get nearly as good. My vision is blurred, whether near or far, sometimes even very blurry, as if I had something in my eye. When I asked my Germeringen practice, nothing could be found during the examinations. The reasoning behind the result was that one eye is “tuned” to the distance, the other to the distance. Unfortunately, that's not even remotely the case for me! The practice asked Dr. directly. Eckert about the results of my operation. She looked at the operation report again and told me that the operation went well and everything was as it should be. So so…. No offense, Dr. Eckert, you advertise the most modern surgical equipment, but the result for my left eye is simply poor. Unfortunately, the commitment to criticism also left more than to be desired.

I tried to sort it out in person, but the mid-50s employee with the Slavic accent chose to ignore me. A pity. The waiting times remained reasonable, the practice and the operating center are modern and attractive. The employee who did the preliminary examination was extremely snippy and aggressive and assumed that I was just booking the appointments and then not showing up for the operation. What the hell ...?! I've never heard anything so absurd! Do they think I won my time in the lottery and am driving two hours to pass the time?! Apparently yes, because at the follow-up appointment, where she was pleasantly surprised by my appearance, she revealed that she can behave if she wants. The operation went smoothly, the assistants were correct, Dr. But Eckert was unnecessarily very arrogant. 🤷 The pain that followed was hell and instead of getting better, it got worse by the hour. 1 pkg of paracetamol in two days! On Saturday I couldn't take it anymore and called the emergency number. However, it was not connected to the emergency doctor, but to a private person, who was constantly being called by patients seeking help. The general emergency service couldn't help me on the phone, but of course I couldn't drive because I was blind and had a high fever. Out of desperation, I decided to remove the protective contact lenses myself, which was extremely painful. After that things got significantly better. I would have liked to have mentioned this at the first follow-up appointment, but was cheekily dismissed. The second follow-up appointment, this time in my place of residence, which was possible thanks to the many branches, was very chaotic, among other things because the head office data could not be accessed there. So: Some room for improvement, here.

Meine Mutter hatte hier eine OP für Grauen Star. Die OP selbst ging schnell und reibungslos. Sie ist sehr zufrieden. 1Stern abzug wäre bei meinen Emotionen zu wenig. Bei beiden Operationen musste wir mehr als 3 Std wartenzeit hinnehmen. Sie kamm genau gesagt erst dran, als ich bei den Krankenschwester lautstark Beschwerde einreichte .WICHTIG: Es wird NICHT nach Termin genommen, sondern erst der Bus mit der Gruppe. Wollt Ihr zu eurer Zeit genommen werden, sprecht die Krankenhelfer direkt darauf an! Sonst könnt Ihr lange warten...

We cannot understand the good reviews. The result of my wife's CLE surgery was poor. The promises made in advance were not kept. Afterwards, countless follow-up examinations and appointments and 3 further interventions were necessary (lens rotation, post-cataract and then laser because the result wasn't right). And: the waiting times were long, sometimes several hours.

I had Lasik surgery that went well. However, instead of the supposedly free follow-up inspection, another €500 was charged. Even though I had already paid a total of €2,937.11. There was no explanation about this in advance and I think it's unfair.

Ich war wegen einem schon sehr lange tränenden Auge in dieser Praxis - leider hat sich der übergewichtige südländische Arzt nicht vorgestellt (oder falls doch habe ich ihn nicht verstanden - generell waren seine Deutschkenntnisse recht schlecht). Ich berichtete von meinen Beschwerden und bekam Augentropfen verschrieben. Nach ein paar Monaten ohne Besserung ging ich wieder hin und fragte ob nicht evtl. eine Spülung des Tränenkanals Sinn machen würde. Ich bekam wieder nur dieselben Augentropfen verschrieben. Auf die Empfehlung einer Bekannten ging ich in eine andere Neu-Ulmer Augenarzt-Praxis. Dort habe ich das volle diagnostische Programm erhalten, mit Überweisung in die Klinik - Tränenwegs-OP folgte. Ich habe mich noch nie in meinem Leben so schlecht behandelt gefühlt wie im Augenzentrum Eckert!!

Got an appointment at short notice (emergency), even though I wasn't a patient, everyone was very friendly, the practice was super organized. I was expecting a long wait, but I got it straight away. Thank you for the quick help!

Not recommendable! A review from my mother: She wanted to have cataracts treated. She was promised to call back. However unsuccessful. The receptionist is rude. In general, she felt uncomfortable in this doctor's office and felt like a number. One person didn't know what the other was doing. The eye doctor wanted to discuss the eye treatment/surgery with her, so she simply took her lunch break and my mother was allowed to go home again. You might think this is all about profit. Important note: Read the brochure carefully. The pre-treatment also costs. She canceled the appointment 10 days in advance because she felt unwell. No reason was even asked for the cancellation. Just fraud!

On May 23rd, 2023 I was at the Eckert Eye Center in Neu Ulm for the second time. Convenient access, an underground car park directly in the house. The practice is modern, bright and clean, a real island of medical care. The girls at the reception were very nice and friendly. Warmth and humanity are there and the last fears before the operation disappear. The surgeon was Dr. Gerion Stork, in whom I had already trusted after the preliminary examination, a highly qualified doctor discussed all aspects in great detail. He started the operation with a friendly hello and you could tell he was in a good mood. You can see that the team enjoys and enjoys their work. I would be happy to recommend this practice!! I have been a patient of this practice for 3 years. Every time I talk to a different doctor. Last Monday (November 13th, 2023) I was there again. The doctor was very nice, I had a referral from rheumatology. First she googled what the rheumatology doctor wanted. Then she understood that she wanted a tear test and explanation. Then she started doing the tear test without gloves. She wasn't sure how to do this test properly. That's why she googled again. I don't know if the doctor is really competent?

Always available for urgent appointments the same day and very friendly and competent doctors in both locations.

Ich war am 1.02.2023 mit meiner Mutter ( über 80 ) im Augenzentrum Eckert. Sie wurde am Grauen Star operiert und bekam eine neue Linse. Bei der Anfahrt war alles leicht zu finden. Unten im Augenzentrum ist ein Parkhaus und mit dem Fahrstuhl kommt man direkt vor die Tür. Wir waren knapp eine Stunde zu früh dran und trotzdem wurde sich sofort um meine Mutter gekümmert.Die Arzthelferinnen waren freundlich und kompetent. Es ging dann zügig weiter und sie kam gleich dran. Während der OP fühlte meine Mutter sich auch gut aufgehoben. Es waren immer freundliche Arzthelferinnen um sie herum und haben sich um sie gekümmert und der Arzt sei auch sehr nett gewesen und hätte alle ihre Fragen beantwortet. Nach der OP bekam sie noch Kaffee und eine Laugenstange mit Butter. Anschließend wurde nochmals alles erklärt und sie bekam noch eine Rose geschenkt. Insgesamt waren wir 1, 5 Stunden dort. 5 Sterne für eine schnelle und äußerst kompetente Behandlung.

Klare 5-Sterne Bewertung von mir! Ich habe mich in Neu-Ulm einer Augenlaser-OP (LASIK) unterzogen. Die Arzthelferin, die mir die Augentropen erklärt hat und mit mir ein paar Untersuchungen gemacht hat, war sehr freundlich und konnte mir alle Fragen fachlich perfekt erklären. Man hat sich richtig Zeit für mich genommen und ich wurde nicht einfach nur schnell abgefrühstückt. Die meisten Voruntersuchungen konnte ich bei mir an meinem Wohnort machen, musste nur zum Lasern nach Neu-Ulm. Ich wurde von Frau Dr. Sophie Eckert operiert. Die Ärztin war bei der OP ebenfalls sehr freundlich zu mir, erklärte mir Schritt für Schritt jedes Vorgehen. Hab mich trotz der OP-Situation sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Die OP verlief komplett schmerzfrei. Insgesamt habe ich mich die ganze Zeit gut beraten gefühlt und den Schritt der Laser-OP nicht bereut. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team!

Alten Leuten Behandlungen aufdrücken die man gar nicht braucht und dann nicht mal vernünftig aufklären - Bekannte von mir spricht sehr schlecht deutsch und versteht auch nicht alles - sie wollte telefonieren und jmd fragen der ihr das erklärt, dazu kam es nicht weil man ihr sagte das sie sonst nicht um Doktor darf! Aus Angst unterschrieben und nun flattert die hohe Rechnung ins Haus! Traurig das die Eckert Gruppe so arm dran ist! Diese Angelegenheit geht direkt zum Anwalt! Aus dem Bekanntenkreis gehört das dies öfters vorkommt - heißt es ist vorsätzlicher Betrug! Sowas geht gar nicht!
