This place is absolutely unique and amazing. The collection is up to its name: precious. A must-stop for travellers and visitors when coming to Hoi An.

We saw the art gallery associated with this museum first and the friendly lady told us about this museum. It is truly amazing and beautifully put together. It was moving to read about the photographers journey to all 54 documented ethnic groups in Vietnam, and his dedication to preserving their heritage. There are photographs and traditional costumes from around Vietnam on display. A gem in Hoi An, and worth a spot in everyone’s itinerary (and it’s free!).

Possibly my favourite gallery to date. PLEASE include this in your itinerary when you visit, Rehahn seems to have put in an immense amount of work to preserve the history and culture of Vietnam’s ethnic groups. His efforts, evident by the numerous gifts from villagers and village chiefs as well as his personal anecdotes, touched me a lot. The storytelling also makes learning about the ethnic groups a memorable and engaging experience. I have never visited a gallery like this. I meant to visit for 15 minutes to have a look-see but ended up reading every single placard because they drew me in so much.

A MUST visit! This was the most impactful and powerful part of my visit to Hoi An. The photos and textile artwork are breathtaking on their own. When combined with the stories they tell one is able to see Vietnam in a light that would impossible otherwise. Thank you for the amazing work of preserving the stories of these amazing people groups.

Great place to see gorgeous photographs of ethnic minorities in Vietnam. Mostly big portraits. The place is peaceful and the portraits will surprise you and make you smile. And it’s entirely free.

Lovely museum, must visit when you are in Hoi An! Owner is Rehanh, a talent from French. Located in the centre of Hoi An ancient town, a beautiful place to learn about the ethenic groups in Vietnam. We appreciated all of his hard work. We were amazed how much he has done, and his knowledge of the variety cultures. We were in our travelling across the country, so we understand how difficult it is to get into the small village of the minority groups. As a Vietnamese, I have to admit that I know less about my own country, and the culture of the minority groups than him! It's free to visit, so please come to this place, to see the culture of other groups in Vietnam, as well as the beauty of Vietnam.

This is a must visit! Entrance is free and you’ll get to see the the amazing work of the photographer, in which each picture tells a story, as well as his efforts in finding each ethnic group in Vietnam and preserving their essence. If you’re interested, you’ll also get to know more about each of the ethnic groups and subgroups, their customs, costumes and Réhahn’s experience finding each one. You’ll also be able to go through sample books with all the breathtaking photographs.

A warm local museum with various Vietnamese culture collection. It worth those who is interested in Vietnamese minority to visit. There's a lot art, cultural, handmade and photography collection, which make people impressive. Meanwhile, the museum also has pretty postcard, and each of it is 25k VND.

A must-do when visiting Hoi An. An amazing learning journey, when you can experience the museum showcasing the ethnic groups and minority sub-groups of Vietnam. The museum is free to visit, and you don't require any reservations. We spent about 90 minutes reading the anecdotes and browsing. There are 3 levels in total inside.

What a beautiful gallery and museum. What Rehann has done deserves so much credit. So much effort and work to bring us all this information about the different ethnic groups of Vietnam. With such detail and with examples of their beautiful costumes. And it's FREE! You can buy a postcard or some of their beautiful pictures to support the museum. Wonderful body of work, definitely worth the visit. It's a small museum but It'll take you at least one hour if you are interested in the vast information on display.

I'm not really a big fan of museums and cultural things but I was blown away. The pictures speak more than a thousand words and are really intriguing to look at. The stories about how the photographer gathered the costumes and the trips he took to get them are very inspiring and wonderful to read. 11/10, definitely recommend.

It's a very very special place. In this small museum you will have the honor to see traditional clothing from every ethnic minority in Vietnam, as well as photos of them being worn by men or women from these minorities, by a french photographer. I greatly recommend!

Best sight in Hoi An for me. Really interesting insights about the Vietnamese tribes, showing their beautiful original traditional clothing plus amazing photos of the original owners from the tribes. Information about every piece and owner is given on cards, describing the way the photographer met them, in quite an emotional way. Absolutely recommend going there.

Precious Heritage Art Gallery is a must see when you visit Hoian. Not only do you get to see some amazing work from the world famous photographer Rehahn, you get to understand Vietnam like you cannot anywhere else in the country. The museum shows the many tribes in Vietnam and most often forget about. It tells a story about each one of them and shows their traditional dress costume too. Very insightful and beautifully set up and laid out. Highly recommended a visit.

I went museum in a the last days of December and weather was strange with suddenly raining. However, this is exact destination I would like recommend for everyone, at all. The museum is a collection about Vietnam's ethnic minority. Each traditional clothes owner a story for itself. It could be the last one of a ethnic group and it was gave in sadness, in crying. In contrast, some of costumes was gave as the gifts in happy mood of owner. If you love art and tradition do not miss this place. I think Hoi An Ancient Town is too crowded with souvenir shops, coffee spots and other commercial places. Why should we try a place where help you can know more about Viet Nam for sure. P/s: A advantage of this museum is entrance fee is free. Staff is so friendly and helpfully.

Fantastic museum, amazing photography, and so much to see and take in from this place. It is such a unique experience and museum immersed in Vietnamese culture and history. Each photograph tells a story. It's so good I have visited on two separate occasions whilst travelling in Vietnam.

I’ve been admiring Réhahn’s work for some years now. Always amazing to see it printed and in person. Thoroughly enjoyed the exposition. Amazing combination of traditional dresses and portraits. I definitely got some great inspiration for when I’m traveling north. Amazing work 🙏

Absolutely gorgeous museum of Réhahn’s original portrait photography of Vietnams 54 ethnic tribes, all accompanied by traditional clothes gifted to the museum. Very high quality and beautifully done. I especially liked the inclusion of his personal stories in terms of finding and meeting these groups. You can purchase some of the photography here, as well as GORGEOUS postcards. I purchased a handmade tote bag made by the H’Mong. Make sure you stop by, even if for a 20 min visit

A fascinating insight into Vietnam’s ethnic minorities and their traditions, with some beautiful portraits. I usually find myself enjoying a museum/gallery for 20 minutes or so and then swiftly moving on, but this small museum kept me engaged for well over an hour and I only left because I had to. Highly recommend.

Best museum I've visited in Vietnam. Walked around for hours seeing all the traditional costumes made by ethnic minorities, accompanied by some amazing photography and storytelling. If you want to learn more about hill tribes, you really need to see this.

The magnificent exhibition of this museum amazed me. You will get to know the ethnocultural layer of Vietnam through photographs and national costumes from all over the country. The best part is the museum is free. You can buy both photographs and stylish postcards. I recommend!

Truly wonderful museum created by french photographer Réhahn. It was quite emotional, seeing someone sharing all that information about ethnic minorities in Vietnam and he does it with so much interest, passion and emotion. 100% recommend, one of the highlights of my trip to Hoi An
