such a great caffeine experience they have a good variety of coffees and even mixes too! each coffee was prepped delicately and you can taste the thought that was put into each mix! this is a pretty small cafe so ideal for solo or going in pairs. they got a shop outfront that sells their products, ground coffee, phins, packages etc great spot

Lacaph Space is one of the best places to experience coffee in HCMC. We came for the workshop which takes place every Saturday and had the opportunity to learn Aeropress. The set up, the staff and the coffee, everything was perfect. If you need to find a place to learn or enjoy a good cup of coffee, Lacaph is the place! One bonus, the restroom is fantastic!

Wow! The most amazing coffee. We had salted coffee and coconut coffee to start with. They were so nice that we thought we must try the egg coffee here and it was absolutely incredible! Ferb and Dao took such care making each coffee - you can really tell how passionate they are! You must come here if you are a coffee drinker. They also do coffee learning experiences although we didn't have time to do one. The baristas are super friendly too!

We learned how to make egg coffee here through an experience we found on Airbnb and really had a great time. It was very informative and we learned a lot. Our teacher was great and very patient, full of knowledge about coffee. His passion for coffee showed. Nice clean facility. Would highly recommend if your into coffee.

An unplanned trip turned into the most memorable coffee experience to date. The entrance seemed unassuming because it's just an opening leading to a staircase. But I was immediately transported to a cozy and chill Cafe the moment i stepped in the store. The staff are super nice (and speak English which i was not particular about but some of you lot might be) and I appreciated the chat and mini-seminar on Vietnamese coffee given to me by the barista (whose name i failed to get!! T_T) i initially ordered an americano and their honey comb cake (highly recommended!) but the barista also let me taste their coffee tea and lemonade for free. I ordered their egg coffee which he prepared fresh in front of me as a complimentary service :) this branch offers coffee-making lessons in case you're keen! Would definitely come back ☺️

Omg lacaph was such a great experience, was recommended by visit.hochiminh This place had such a good vibe and the staff there was friendly!! We only reached there about 4.45pm when they are supposed to close at 5pm. The staff there even let us tried different types of coffee before we purchased their filtered coffee.

Vĩ was the best instructor for our egg coffee making class. I really enjoyed learning how to make the egg coffee and he explained so clearly and showed us every small detail to make the perfect cup. He even provided some ideas of how to alter it to our taste. Definitely recommend this experience with Vĩ :)

Hidden in an old building. Climb up to the 1st and 2nd floor. Very nice space. Filled with coffee smell. The best salted coffee I’ve ever had. Would definitely come back.

This place is really awesome if you want to try a full Vietnamese coffee experience. Toan explained so much about the different blends and helped me to pick the right one for me. I’m coming back soon :-)

I visited Lacaph Coffee Shop in Ho Chi Minh this morning and it completely changed my outlook on what "good coffee" truly is. As someone who grew up in Los Angeles, I thought I knew good coffee, but after trying the coffee at Lacaph, I realized there was a whole new level of excellence. What stood out to me the most was the kindness and friendliness of the owner, Timen. He took the time to explain the meaning behind the cafe and the story behind each cup of coffee, which made the experience all the more special. The coffee itself was absolutely delicious. It was rich, smooth, and had a depth of flavor that I had never tasted before. It was obvious that the beans were carefully selected and expertly roasted. Each cup was a true work of art. The atmosphere of the coffee shop was also fantastic. The decor was modern and stylish, and the music created a relaxing and welcoming vibe. I felt like I could sit there for hours, sipping coffee and chatting with friends. Also, the staff were amazing and super friendly, in the most authentic way. There were no “fake smiles” like you see in most tourist destinations. I was really impressed. Overall, I would give Lacaph Coffee Shop a 5-star rating. The coffee was exceptional, the owner was kind and welcoming, and the atmosphere was perfect. If you're in Ho Chi Minh and looking for a great cup of coffee, I highly recommend visiting Lacaph.

If you're looking for an authentic and cozy coffee experience in the center of Saigon, look no further than Lacaph Coffee. Tucked away from the bustling streets, this place truly is a hidden gem that deserves all the praise it can get! From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The interior design is a perfect blend of modern aesthetics and traditional Vietnamese elements. The space is beautifully decorated with wooden furniture, vibrant plants, and soft lighting, creating a serene and relaxing ambiance. The staff at Lacaph Coffee are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They genuinely care about providing the best coffee experience for their customers. As a coffee enthusiast, I appreciated their passion and expertise in crafting each cup of coffee. They use high-quality beans sourced from local farms, and you can taste the difference in every sip. The menu offers a wide variety of coffee options to cater to different preferences. Whether you're a fan of espresso-based drinks or you prefer a pour-over or a Vietnamese-style coffee, they have it all. The presentation of the drinks is also worth mentioning, as each cup is beautifully crafted and served with attention to detail. The location of Lacaph Coffee is ideal, as it's situated in the heart of Saigon, making it easily accessible. Whether you're a local or a tourist exploring the city, this place is a must-visit. Overall, I can't recommend Lacaph Coffee enough. It's a hidden gem that stands out in the crowded coffee scene of Saigon. With its welcoming ambiance, exceptional coffee, and friendly staff, it's the perfect spot to unwind, catch up with friends, or simply enjoy a moment of tranquility. Don't miss out on this extraordinary coffee experience!

Many thanks to Joey Joey Joey, for introducing us to the amazing Vietnamese coffee culture in a comfortable and cozy setting. It was the first time my wife ever made coffee from scratch and what delicious salted cream coffee we ended up brewing for ourselves! Yummy! Joey was patient in answering all my questions and a most beautiful smile to go with it.

Such amazing atmosphere! Feeling like I just discovered a hidden gem today! They have actually established their “ecosystem” for awhile and now I think its time for everyone else to know the name Lacàph! I tried cascara tea and I liked it a lot! Will definitely try other offers real soon.

I came to this workshop on my last day of my travels in Vietnam and it was a great way to learn the skills to bring home with me! Ny was a great advisor and taught us well - very patient and spoke great English. The chocolate cashews were great as well.

Booked a DIY Coffee Making Workshop for me and my American date via Klook, our instructor: Khôi Vĩ was extremely kind, cheerful and helpful, he taught my date a lot of knowledges regarding Vietnamese Phin Coffee. Lacaph is a coffee shop where you can work, enjoy drinks from the menu, buy the ground coffee which was produced by the Tay minorities, so you can enjoy Vietnamese coffee at home. And also, the amazing workshop.

I availed the "Discover 3 Vietnamese Coffees & savory Banh Mi the Local Way!" coffee experience for around 20 USD and it was sooo worth it. Trâm Anh is a coffee master 👏 She is soooo nice and explained the steps in detailed while giving me the history of coffee culture in Vietnam. I appreciate that she even wrote a food and drinks recommendation with an address. So nice of her! It was fun and amazing, I hope you can try it too. 🥰 A must-visit coffee shop in Ho Chi Minh. Thank you!! The place is also instagram worthy 😍 Oh, coffee is the best too!! my favorite is their signature LaCaph coffee 😍

Lacàph puts on a coffee tasting experience that drops you right into the Vietnamese coffee scene. You get to make coffee using the Phin, learn what makes Vietnamese coffee so unique, and sample the many interesting ways the Vietnamese drink their coffee. The instructor was super lovely, friendly, and knowledgeable- you could see just how passionate they were about the coffee. I highly recommend Lacàph for coffee and for their coffee tasting experience.

A lovely spot hidden in the second floor offering up coffee workshops or just a drinking experience. A wide range of beans and even coffee-based honey and flowers available for sale. Great service and support. Highly recommend to visit when in HCMC

We did the coffee making workshop. We learnt a lot about Vietnamese coffee culture and experienced 3 kinds of coffee preparations hands-on. The staff are really passionate and make these two hours an amazing experience.

I was super impressed when visting Lacaph space for the first time. You cannot figure out how it really looks like if you don't enter once in life. It looks like a gallery, every picture tells one profound story about coffee. I attended the Vietnamese Coffee Affair and Egg coffee making session here, the staff are super friendly, helpful, professional and really enthusiastic about coffee. They educated us about making egg coffee as well as other things we're curious of. I've got really great experience here, highly recommended for coffee lovers or anyone who is into enjoying new things. Cascara is my favorite anyway :))

I swear Lacaph has the best coffee in town, not to mention an amazing atmosphere. I visited again for a coffee making class, the baristas here have a lot of knowledge, professional and friendly. Everyone needs to visit here if they are looking for somewhere to chill and do something special on the weekend...

Best Vietanmese coffee in my life and it is my very first time to try the Cascara, you must try it out. I attended their Saturday session to experience more deep to see in detail to make and do it by myself. Hope everyone should visit on Saturday to experience this, too :))

A good place for speciality coffee. It is in the old appartment on Nguyen Cong Tru street but you need to park your bike on Pho Duc Chinh street. The first floor is the showroom and the second floor is the cafe. The interior is warm and cozy that you can enjoy your coffee.

So surprised to find this gem tucked away above a noisy, bustling street. Entry is on level 2 (you go upstairs via stairs at 222 and cross over to 220 via the balcony space) and the cafe is upstairs. Quiet, sophisticated and spacious, this is an oasis and haven to rest your weary feet after traipsing in this district. A coffee-focused menu is on offer, plus what would seem to be coffee workshops - there are workstations equipped with coffee-making facilities for participants. I enjoyed the signature cold brew: refreshing and tangy. Staff are welcoming and super-friendly. I am going to find an excuse to be in this part of town again so I can pay another visit!

Aside from their great coffee, I highly recommend taking one of their classes! I took the Vietnamese coffee & culture class and it was one of the best coffee classes I’ve ever taken! 😊 My instructor, Vi, was extremely kind and explained everything very well. I enjoyed learning about the Vietnamese coffee history & scene and Vi made me try a variety of coffee as well 😋 The phin lemonade was so good!

Had the egg coffee class with Vi, it was a fantastic course. Vi was very friendly and passionate about coffee culture. The course let's you use very high quality ingredients and you get a brief history about the introduction of coffee into Veitnam and why egg came to be used. I would recommend taking this course if you are interested in coffee culture.

Lacàph was one of the best coffee shops we visited in Vietnam and after visiting their other location we decided to sign up for the "3 Vietnamese Coffee Favorites for Beginners" workshop at their Experiences Space. Trâm Anh was a fun and enthusiastic teacher and she taught us how to make a few different beverages (including our favorite, cà phê muối) before awarding us a personalized "Certificate of Completion" to take home. This is a great way to spend an hour or two in Saigon!
