I enjoyed dining in this restaurant, one of the best when in Vigan. Their meat dishes are so huge it is so filling even for big groups. The staff are all very warm and nice, serve very well. The place is very cozy, blends well with what you expect when you visit Vigan. It's also near the touristic Calle Crisologo. This is resto is recommended.

was actually eyeing this place for my vigan vacation since this spot comes up on blog suggestions and facebook as well. went there around 8pm. i thought it was gonna be busy but i was a bit of a slow night. the service was good and the food serving was also fast. loved their beef and its sauce. not a beer connoisseur but it was good. only unfortunate thing was they only had 2 available beer variety for that night. the place is also huge and the AC temperature was perfectly set. not too warm and not too cold. the only thing i was wondering was the additional charge on our bill. the receipt shows only around 600+ but the waiter wrote 800 on the bottom side of the paper and told me to pay that amount. unsure if it was for service charge or he just wanted a tip? didnt bother asking but i hope they made it clear as to what was it for.

It was a disappointment that they had only 2 beers available: The pale ale and the sweet stout. Then they only had the pulled pork, chicken, and smoked pork belly. No speciality meats were available. The sandwich was not available, nor French fries. Also two of the four desserts were not available. The ambiance is pleasant for a beer brewery but the severely reduced choices on the menu was a downer. The Ceylon lemon ice tea was refreshing. It would have been better to know up front what was and what was not available on the menu.

Cool place in the centre of Vigan serving craft beer and food! There were six different beers on the menu of which four were available - all were decent and there was plenty of food on offer too. The sampler was a good and cost effective way of trying all of the beers that were available. Lots of seats available too.

Went here around lunch time and saw that they are smoking their meat out front. Food is amazing, their smoked meats are INCREDIBLY tender. It's also relatively cheap for the serving size. Sides are also good, especially the coleslaw. I also enjoyed their craft beer tasters! Street parking is available. I saw some mice and lizards crawling around.

Place is very cozy. Dining area is big enough. The building is an old building approx 100yrs. old as you can see the evidence 1meter (3'3") wall with timber beams and flooring on second floor. They serve bèef steaks and other mouth watering foods. They have their own beer brewery which the crew tour us there. Me and my son are both driving so we just tasted 4 flavors of very satisfying beers. My sister also taste the beer. The crew were so polite they entertained us very well. Our experience there exceptionally very good.

Great food and service. There was no more draft beers on the evening we went but they got a good wine selection. Keep in mind it was a special holiday.

5/5! That's still underrated. Wanna know why? Then try it for yourself! Their pork belly is awesome, the white chocolate blond is superb! The beer? Great! A perfect place to fill your tummy and chill out. Bring your dates here, they will love it for sure.

I really wanted to love this place as I support local brewing and Filipino products. I even slept through it before giving this place a review that's as unbiased as I'd want it to be. Beer: As the previous reviewer said, a massive letdown was they did not have any of their beers available. Talk about a brewery without a beer. We ended up getting San Mig light which was great but the purpose of this visit was to try Calle Brewery's stuff. Food: we were hoping to get quality feed but ended up with an average set of smoked meats and vegetables sitting in melted margarine. The brisket was drier than the Ilocandia climate and could do with better smoking chips or dry rub. The pulled pork was not bad and much juicer than the brisket. Service: the waitstaff were good, attentive and polite. Earns a star. Ambiance: it's a nice walk down the Hispanic memory lane of the Philippines. We love what they did with the property. Earns the second star. Understandably the business has struggled over the pandemic. Hopefully their beer production ramps up in the next few months and that the quality of food improves.

PROS: Beer and food were good! The ambiance was also really nice and matched the brewery vibe of the restaurant. Beer prices have remained the same (if the other reviews were your reference). CONS: We came for the beer but not everything was available. The tasting menu was supposed to have 4 diff beers but they only had 3 that day. Wanted to order some food items but they weren't available. No card payment available as well. Prices of the food have increased a lot, very different from the ones in the review photos. I hope you could update them!

My husband and I ate here for lunch while staying in Vigan and it was a great experience. Although they only had 2 beer options that day (IPA and stout), both beers were very tasty and well crafted. My husband and I both ordered BBQ plates (sticky spare ribs and brisket) and the meats were very tender with yummy side dishes included (coleslaw, baked beans, sweet corn and mashed potatoes). We also liked the decor/ambiance and the owner was very kind to give us a tour of the brewery and the second floor which featured the style of the traditional Spanish Colonial home. He also recommended other local museums and restaurants around the area. Really recommend this place for anyone in the area.

Was in Vigan for 2 nights and visited this place on both nights. Good food, good beer and good staff. They had 3 beers available during our visit. Salakot, Canyon and Bigote (lightest to strongest), was happy with Canyon while my wife and daughter preferred the Salakot. Highly recommended. *Friday band was better than the Saturday group* *** Visited again, kitchen was closed at 9pm, but was there for their beer... And was lucky to see the Friday band again.

This was a big letdown. They have 6 craft beers on the menu but only 1 was available. They have a big selection of meats on their menu but only 4 were available. Forget the seafood menu. The only thing available was the shrimp dish. We were severed our order of drinks and then our server disappeared for about 12 minutes. We had to order our limited selection of meats through a different waiter. We ordered the pork belly and brisket. The brisket was tasty but the pork belly was a little dry.

The burnt ends beef just melts in your mouth! The beer flight is a good way to taste the range of (very) locally brewed beers. Pretty good flavours for a fussy Englishman!

Decent craft beer though they felt stronger than what was stated. The beer wasn’t exactly cold I had to get one cup changed. Food presentation was weird as they had slices of bread below the food. A little pricy for the baby back ribs we had. But overall still a place you would wanna go back to because vigan doesn’t really have that many places you could chill at.

Ambiance seems really nice. They kept the old world charm but added in modern conveniences such as air-conditioning and nice bathrooms. The food was ok at best. Smoked meats were pretty average tasting. Portion is decent. The sides were pretty good though. Dessert was not bad. As for the beers, I was expecting a whole lot more. 2/6 variaties were sadly not available. Did a beer flight of the 4 available ones. I only liked the wheat ale. The rest were forgettable. Not bad if you pair it with the meal. But I think craft beer should stand out on its own.

Who would have thought an American would find real Texas style barbeque in Vigan. But here it is. The food was great, the service was quick and friendly, and it's always fun to talk about smoking meats with another bbq fan. Try the sausage and pulled pork. Highly recommended.

Awesome staff, ambiance, and food! They are pet friendly and even accompanied us inside since our dog has diapers. They have big servings of food but some of the items on the menu are not available. Overall? We love it. Highly recommended!

We had such a great night out at Calle Brewery. They know exactly what they’re doing with that smoker. The burnt ends, pulled pork, and sauce made us feel at home. The slaw and cheesy mac were delicious too. Also enjoyed a flight of the beers that were available, and it was fantastic. Great atmosphere and attentive staff. Can’t wait to come back.
