I
really
wanted
to
love
this
place
as
I
support
local
brewing
and
Filipino
products.
I
even
slept
through
it
before
giving
this
place
a
review
that's
as
unbiased
as
I'd
want
it
to
be.
Beer:
As
the
previous
reviewer
said,
a
massive
letdown
was
they
did
not
have
any
of
their
beers
available.
Talk
about
a
brewery
without
a
beer.
We
ended
up
getting
San
Mig
light
which
was
great
but
the
purpose
of
this
visit
was
to
try
Calle
Brewery's
stuff.
Food:
we
were
hoping
to
get
quality
feed
but
ended
up
with
an
average
set
of
smoked
meats
and
vegetables
sitting
in
melted
margarine.
The
brisket
was
drier
than
the
Ilocandia
climate
and
could
do
with
better
smoking
chips
or
dry
rub.
The
pulled
pork
was
not
bad
and
much
juicer
than
the
brisket.
Service:
the
waitstaff
were
good,
attentive
and
polite.
Earns
a
star.
Ambiance:
it's
a
nice
walk
down
the
Hispanic
memory
lane
of
the
Philippines.
We
love
what
they
did
with
the
property.
Earns
the
second
star.
Understandably
the
business
has
struggled
over
the
pandemic.
Hopefully
their
beer
production
ramps
up
in
the
next
few
months
and
that
the
quality
of
food
improves.
