It's a sad experience dining here. After waiting for long to be seated, we were served the saltiest pancit we've ever had. We had to send it back to the kitchen. Portions were ridiculous. Check out how small this "regular" chicken is. 1 star.

This Maxs Restaurant is located at the entrance of Calle Crisologo it was next to the statue of Leona and in front of Cafe Leona. It has a big space able to cater to more than 100 customers. Price: very affordable(for some) Sample: Group of 9 (expect to have 3k meals) complete with rice, 4-5 dishes and Halo Halo. Place: 10/10 Crew/Staff: All accomodating 10/10

A Vigan City themed Max's Restaurant. I love the way they designed the building. It matches the old heritage houses in Calle Crisologo.

Good food. Staff need more training in dealing with petty issues on their menu and on how to use right words that would not offend clients.

The food is okay..but i was very disappointed at the staff, because after we finish eating and already paid the bills then we went outside the restaurant,we can't go back anymore to take restroom..they said, it's only for costumers who are eating inside their restaurant...what a shame...and i am very disappointed because they won't gave exemption even in elderly....😡😡😡😤😤😤

Food tastes okay but kinda overpriced as usual. It rained that night when we ate at Max's and the AC's too cold. What's worse is that the crews don't conceal themselves talking behind our backs even pointing fingers and laughing at us. Is it our fault that we went there with our pambahays? Good for them we bought almost 2k food even if there's just two of us.i i also noticed the coffee jelly was said to be P99 but it was written P129 on the receipt. I regret choosing the restau. We just finished our meals immediately because of discomfort from prying eyes. Won't come back to that place again.

Tastiest tofu dishes I’ve ever eaten! Sizzling tofu and adobong tofu!

A little disorganized staff, hard to understand menu, food is decent but overpriced for what it is, Philippino friend also could not identify menu items made up names with no explanation, I think assuming they are such an institution of course you know... pretentious.

This Maxs branch is absolutely adorbs and unique! Strategically placed in a corner of calle crisologo, it was perfectly housed in an old structure which added oomph to the otherwise blah ambience of a restaurant. Glass mirrors allow you to sightsee people walking by, as well as the stores nearby. The space maybe felt a little tight but it was alright.

I appreciate their obliging to take advanced orders through their hotlime number (here in Google Maps). The Lechong Kawali Kare-Kare's price is unjustified, and lacks meat. Sizzling Tofu will always be a favorite paired with rice. Crowd may be plenty during peak-seasons and holidays.

Great resto but needs service improvement. Though worth recommending to others.

Service is great as usual. Food was served fairly quick. Food price is pretty decent. Muffins are a must try! What let me down was the fact that the tables / chairs weren't so clean and the corn was cooked properly. I would still recommend it

Sinigang na bangus belly sa miso, tofu con lechon and pakbet tagalog are good. However, they should maintain the cleanliness of the store. Men's urinal is clogged. Staff holds the inside of the bowl when giving it to the customers. Place gets crowded especially at night.

I was here on the 21st of July, everything was like I went back to the olden time-where only the calezas and or horses where the means of transpo. So clean and busy streets are full of life and vibrant hues are everywhere, but no matter how heavy the traffic is, cars and other vehicles always make way for the Caleza- which shows how well-preserved this custom is. Several days after I was here, Vigan was struck by an earthquake. Some old houses and relics were not spared. Hope everyone is fine and safe, hopefully everything will be restored to its former glory. Praying for everyone! Keep safe.

It was fullhouse when we came. It took a long time before we were seated and before a crew got our orders. The ambience was chaotic and noisy so i didn't enjoy my meal.
