A unique - best kept secret, where the “experience” you have is imposible to describe with words. The quality, taste, freshness, service and products are combined with the magic touch of Carla, she is the genius behind this project, combining years of experience all over the world, from Lima, USA, Dubai… mixing the top products from Galicia ría and it’s land… the result is a journey of discoveries… The wine list is amazing! the wine selection from Ivan (passionate sommelier) completing the wonderful sensations in food pairing… unique wines, almost imposible to find in the stores… My advise: “… just make an appointment asap, let them guide you through a magical moment…” Thanks Carla, Ivan and the rest of your team.

Experiencia fabulosa, la cocina de autor con un toque tradicional no te dejará indiferente, la cantidad abundante y el sabor de los platos es espectacular. La atención y las recomendaciones de Iván sobre la carta, cantidades y sobre su bodega son excelentes. Sin duda totalmente recomendable con una muy buena relación calidad-precio. Si pruebas sin duda repetirás.

Amazing restaurant in Moaña, a small touristic town near Vigo, in Galizia (Spain). Here you find passion for cooking, high quality local products enhanced by an international touch and dishes which are worth a Michelin star. Dining here is a great experience, seasoned by the passion and ability of the chef Carla Álvarez and by the accurate service and deep wine knowledge of the maitre Ivan. The quality/price rate is excellent.

Nos invitaron a conocer Matices, este maravilloso restaurante en Moaña. Nada más entrar conocimos a Iván que nos presentó a Carla. El trato excelente por parte de ambos. Nos fueron aconsejando sobre los platos y vinos que tenían, y la verdad es que acertaron de pleno. La comida exquisita. Los sabores explotaban en la boca. Sensacional todo. Y al final los postres: exquisitos y deliciosos. Todo estuvo de 10. Gracias a Iván y a Carla por hacernos sentir tan a gusto. Por supuesto… volveremos.

First time back to Vigo since last September. Matices is a warm hug in the city - amazing menu and flavors that are perfectly paired. Glad we returned - fair price for the great quality, service, and fresh food! Can't wait to return and try more from their menu.

Fui el otro día por primera vez para celebrar el día del padre con mi familia y me quedé muy sorprendida e impresionada con la variedad de sabores de los platos, una experiencia diferente en cada bocado. Sin duda alguna me gustaría repetir y lo recomiendo para todo aquel y aquella que le apetezca ser partícipe de un viaje para su paladar en cuanto a textura y sabor que no se van a poder encontrar en otro lugar. Como el propio nombre indica, cada plato tiene sus “matices” que los hacen destacar, con productos frescos y de buena calidad. El personal colabora en dicha vivencia con su amabilidad y trato que hace que te sientas como en casa desde el primer momento. Nos pusieron cecina y queso ahumado mientras esperábamos. Además, explican detalladamente los platos.

Today we had a spectacular lunch with a group from Colorado, USA. They loved the food, wines, and excellent service by the team of Matices by Carla Alvarez, a great job! I will be back very soon! The Octopus cornbread empanada and seafood rice were so delicious, a highlight of our foodie experience in Vigo. I highly recommended #matices

Wow!!!! Beautiful spot next to the waterfront ! Extremely friendly staff and exquisite wine recommended by their sommelier! We requested an octopus dish with potato and they cooked it exactly as requested. And dessert was amazing. Our server was so amazing. Spent time with us trying out his English and French ! He was the best ! Thank you for a wonderful dining experience ! 10/10!!
