👍👍 EA Tours coordinated a fantastic private tour of the Alhambra in Granada for us. Despite there being no tickets left for the Alhambra on the days that we were in town, they were able to secure tickets and a private guide that was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. My husband and I like to spend 4-6 weeks in a country so we can get a more in-depth understanding of it. We do not like to go with a tour group so we have to do lots of research on what there is to see & do. We like to take advantage of our time (and money) so we tend to have very detailed itineraries. This usually means we need the help of a local person. I had spent months trying to find someone and was almost ready to give up. Then I found Sean. He worked (and worked) with me to come up with a great itinerary that included things we had found plus many of his own recommendations. He was very patient with all of our endless questions and demands. He took care of ALL of the details that included organizing small group tours, private tours, transfers, etc. We had a varied itinerary from cooking classes, eating at the oldest restaurant in Madrid (he organized the reservation), visiting an Iberian Ham farm, private tapas tour (where the locals go; not just a tourist event), boat ride, visits to castles, wine tasting, visit to Don Quixote windmills. . .the list goes on. All we had to do was enjoy the trip. It was not an easy task for Sean, but through patience, research and much work he helped us have an amazingly wonderful trip while seeing and doing everything we wanted. As I look through my thousands of photos, I cannot believe what a great and fun trip it was. Thank you, Sean!!

I highly recommend Sean and his EATour Team! Sean delivered a five star trip for our week long tour of Portugal and Spain. We enjoyed the perfect combination of highly rated restaurants and hotels with native home cooking and overnights at local manors. We toured the historical sights with local and informative tour guides. We enjoyed private tours of vineyards and tasted the local wines and cuisine. Our time was thoughtfully organized although allowed us free time to explore the Portuguese and Spanish culture on our own. I was a corporate meeting planner for five years and I would highly recommend Sean and the EATour team to any corporate or private tours. Relax and enjoy...the EATour Specialist are a trustworthy and creative team!

We spent several weeks in northern Spain following an itinerary that EA Tours put together. It was perfect! Each day included visits to wineries, caves in which cheeses are aged, and much more. The hotels were marvelous and our driver, Victor, marvelous. He accommodated our every whim with consummate patience. We are unfortunately back in the US and back into the grind, but we wish we were still in Asturias. My wife and I really enjoyed living in a world of Castellano and Catalan. We have taken many bicycle and other tours but none has gotten us as close to the cultural reality of a new place like this tour. The only clear solution is to do it again. Our recommendation is enthusiastic--five stars!

We just returned from several weeks in Spain, and Sean organized a smooth, worry-free trip for us. One of the best things about the trip was having a driver/van pick us up at airports and deliver us to our hotel and then pick us up at our hotel and take us to our next city -- having that convenience was just amazing. All of the drivers that ferried us around were clean cut and English speaking, so we could ask our questions. I must add that you shouldn't try to drive in Spanish cities -- the narrow one-way streets are just impossible to navigate if you don't know them. Another excellent part of the trip that we couldn't have done for ourselves is to find small but very nice hotels in the hearts of the cities. Not only were we well located for walking, but the prices were more reasonable than if we had tried to book them ourselves. We have always planned our own trips in the past, but we'll start relying on experts now that we know how much someone like Sean can help us.

My wife and I, with another couple, spent over 4 weeks in Spain. We provided Sean at EA Tours with a tentative itinerary, to which he added some helpful suggestions, and then arranged for us all our accommodation, tour guides in many different cities, restaurant suggestions and bookings and a series of drivers to take us from place to place, and even helped us with a week's stay in Portugal in a villa in the north. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish - the accommodation was varied and comfortable, including hotels, paradores, self-catering apartments and a rustic farmhouse. The restaurants were always good and in some cases quite outstanding, the guides first rate and the drivers reliable and great fun to be with on extended drives. If you are considering an extended tour of Spain, I would highly recommend EA Tours - a trip such as ours will give you far more flexibility than a group tour, and will also be at a comparative financial advantage.

Recently returned from a fabulous customized trip to northwest Spain "Galicia" in October with Sean of EATour Specialists where we spent 5 full days immersed into the authentic culture, including GREAT food, wine, history, accommodations, beautiful scenery and amazing local people, all wonderfully orchestrated by Sean who was with our group of six the entire adventure. Can't say enough about ALL that we saw and did and how special each piece of the adventure was and how easy Sean made everything flow. Have been to Europe many times, Spain a few, and this will go down as one of the absolute best trips ever !! Robert Brown

I worked with Sean and his amazing team for a trip of a lifetime! We had 11 in our private group and it was flawless, transfers always ready, accommodations, food were amazing. You felt immersed into both Portugal and Spain, without ever feeling like a tourist. I would run, not walk to use EATour Specialist again!

We have traveled with EATour 5 times in the last 10 years. We like to 'sleep cheap and do everything' and they are very respectful of that. Our smallest 'trip' was actually a quick sos call for help in changing out of a hotel that we had booked ourselves (ie from a dump to a great hotel in a very small town....). Our most hand holding was a week long trip for 2 in Segovia, Rioja and Madrid where we just gave Sean our budget and showed up for a EATour ordered welcome dinner! Another year they planned and drove us from Lisbon to Santiago de Compostela with 4 teenagers in tow. A notable part of that trip was when the guide took the teens shopping so that we moms could enjoy a bottle of wine and finish our lunch! We still have the cherry red converse high tops lol and the town was Viana do Castelo and we were on our way to a beach break they had planned for us that was fabulous and just what the teenagers needed! We know Spain very well but love the access to the secret gems and private tours that you get from EATours. They work very well with all ages and all size groups. They have excellent day guides at the historical sites all over Spain as well as multi-lingual driver/guides. We have recommended them to countless friends and recommend them to you!

My wife and I have travelled in both Spain and Portugal while using Sean's tour company on 2 separate occasions. The first time we used EATOURSPECIALIST.com my wife and I and a travelling companion did a 15 day tour of Spain from Madrid with daily trips to Toledo, Salamanca via train. At each destination we were met by a professional tour guide who showed us the city and explained the interesting aspects of the cities. He even arranged for the guides to recommend restaurants in each city. We then had a driver pick us up at our hotel after several days in Madrid and take us south. Through a series of drivers, hotels and tour guides we travelled through Spain stopping at Cordoba, Seville, Cadiz, Gibraltar, Ronda, Costa del Sol, Valencia, and other fabulous cities..big and small, winding up in Barcelona. All came off without a hitch. Drivers were on time, as were the tour guides. All were professional and spoke English. The second time we used Sean's company was at the end of a Duro River cruise. Our driver Carlos picked our group of 6 up in Porto stopping at Pina's Palace (with a tour guide) and Fatima on the way to Lisbon. He then met us the next day at our hotel and drove us to a winery for a private tour and a visit to a seaside village. Wonderful. I would highly recommend Sean and his company for any of your travels in Spain and Portugal. He was there for us every step of the way (especially when we missed our train one day in Madrid), all details and contacts were exact and accurate. Very professional. JoAnne Post 16 AUG 20 @ 12:59

We (my husband and a friend) started looking around for a company to pull together a tour of Spain almost a year ago since we didn't want a bus tour of Spain. We found EA Tour Specialist on the web and were at 1st apprehensive because there not many reviews of the company. However, after some back and forth with emails we decided to proceed and Sean put together for us a very comprehensive tour from Madrid to Gibraltar to Barcelona over 15 days. The hotels chosen were all 1st class (except for one in Granada) with easy access to all the landmarks, great free WIFI, great buffet breakfasts and friendly clerks and clean spacious rooms. The tour guides and tours and drivers/guides that Sean chose for us were 1st class. All the guides spoke excellent English in all cities, were all licensed and knew their subjects and cities very well and were on time....in fact they found us, we did not have to hunt for them. The drivers were all English speaking and very professional and prompt. The tours we booked all went off without a hitch....on time going and coming and delivered the product. Sean also made reservations for us for some of the lunches as well. Some we used and some we didn't because we picked a place closer to where we happened to be at the moment. I would not hesitate to use Sean and EA Tour Specialist again or recommend them to anyone. It was money well spent.

During our recent recent trip to North-West Spain, our research online uncovered the EATour Specialist. With .them, we were able to plan a one day itinerary which covered several specific interests we wished to visit - from prehistoric ruins to Albarino wineries. The day they organized far exceeded our expectations and we would not hesitate to recommend their company to all other travellers to Spain.
