Nice place to visit if you are in Bijapur.

The name itself signifies the glory of this place. The place is huge and so are the remains here. It’s magnificent, tall and glorious! It’s now converted into a public park. However, it’s well maintained. There is no entry restrictions and fees.

This is a public park , near a food street in Vijayapura ( Bijapur) . It closes at 5 pm , to ensure that people do not litter ( given the food street close by ) . Makes for nice pictures and reasonably well maintained . If general public can maintain it well , am sure the authorities will keep this open longer till sunset hours . Parking on the Main Street is Sufficient ( near the All India radio centre ) .

This place is across the road to Anand Mahal. Majestic looking arch and tall towers and a huge platform. Set in a garden. Used for theatrical purposes maybe. Adil Shahi Architecture. Open to public on all days. Roadside parking. No entry ticket. No board displaying info.

This is a good hangout place with friends mostly although I saw couples some times😅.nd the garden is clean..well maintained..100% family friendly place to chill..

Place is good for relaxing for family also and couples also childrens can have more fun in garden and chats and pther food carts and shops are available beside the garden

A huge open court with massive arch structure along with garden, places at the midist of the town.people use this place as morning walks and exercise during morning.

Gagan Mahal- the place was regularly visited during the childhood, now the place remains the same, and I could see there has been some great developmental works to keep the Monument property intact, with little extra care on cleanliness is still what required, there is a good parking space available, people do visit during early morning times for walking and there are some private yoga sessions too held during the morning time.

Gagan Mahal, sometimes called Heavenly Mahal (Sky Mahal), was constructed by Adil Shah I in 1561 and is renowned for its exquisite architectural design. The Darbar Hall was located on the ground level of the two-floor structures, which boasted three arches, and the upper floor was intended to be the royal family's apartment.

It's just like a park and picnic spot. Nothing else. Good for take some photos. No entry fees. A building and some green park area. Near to the main road.

Another beautiful monument of vijayapur, and another ill maintained structure. No entry ticket no security. People cone here litter the place all along and go back. No restrictions on public about the art and craft on the walls of decades ago monument. To mention the government body I.e. The district commissioner office is along the same lane. Needs immediate take care to preserve the historical monument
