It is a very beautiful temple made of marble. All its infrastructure is outstanding, very well designed. Beautiful view of the mountains. Food is very good (Bengali food) and a very low price.

Another diety Lord shiva temple is there and called as malleswara swamy. Both dieties have many pooja sevas and thepotsavam in River Krishna during Maha Shiva Ratri is very famous and attracts a large proud. Radhotsavam is also so famous.

Visited on 27-Jan-2024 , we have reached the temple through ghat road . So many ticket options there like 500,100 and free Darshan . We went through free Darshan and less crowded even through weekend . Darshan completed within 10 minutes . Mobiles not allowed inside the temple premises. Prasadam we need to take tickets though Q line , pulihora and laddu available when we visited , it’s near to car parking area. Must visit place when you are in Vijayawada .

well maintained. Able to get Darshan in just 15 mins. Went with ₹100 ticket. Not too much rush. Phones are not allowed and needed to be deposited at the entrance. Prasadams are good and fresh. Lot of temples inside the complex. Mallikarjuna (sivalayam) is under renovation couldn't able to visit. Laddu Prasadams taste has improved than earlier ones. Pulihora didn't had the old taste.

Hill temple. Most worshipped deity. Must visit and darshan the beautiful Durgamma. Nearby prakasam barrage on river krishna with a wonderful view. To reach the temple steps are there. Lift facility is also there. The temple runs free buses to the hill top. Private vehicles are also allowed. Free darshan, 300 Rs. Tickets available.

Its a wonderful place which I had visited many times since my childhood , the place is very pleasant any time in mornings, afternoon or at night , the goddess kanaka durga devi is believed to be a very powerful goddess in Vijayawada , and it true , this place is very much joyful and full of colorful lights during festival times , i think all the citizen of Vijayawada had visited this place , aren't you ? . visited definitely

Didn't felt like giving that one star also but to write review I had to give it. Though parking is available, the staff are telling there is no parking for 4-wheeler vehicles and not allowing vehicles. The staff are very very rude.

Very famous temple in 2 telugu states. People come from different places of India to get blessings of godess. Most of the times it's very croudy. Krishna river is beside of temple. People take bath in the river or arranged tap water and go to temple to see godess. Govt has recently constructed fly over nearby. Devotees can get buses from near by vijayawada railway station. There are special buses to temple frequently.

Great Devine Place I feel very Happy and Peaceful every time I visit here 🙏🙏 Some points are there to change here must Mainly 1st point is " Antharaalaya Darshanam "Ticket Price is Too costly it's 500/- ( 10 Years Back it is 50/-) within 10 years 10 times increased , that's really insane 2nd one After Kanaka Durga Ammavari Darshan at Bala Malleswara Swamy Temple, and at Subramanya Swamy Temple also at Ganesh Temple some priesta are likely forcing people to do Archana and asking for donations, That's embarassing for somany, i observed Temple authority has to take action for these 2 points

Peaceful area mind got relaxed and at 4am if we reaches there will can see ammavaru with Peaceful good weather.

100 rs dharshan is better than 300 rs. Lift system is worst at nigh when there is no rush. U have to wait for 30 mins until unless some temple guy wants to go down. Even after multiple requests they didn't cared.

Good Shrine, need be careful with unknown people committing Vip dharshan , spl parihar Pooja etc.

During Navaratri it is too rush to visit Durga ma. It is recommended to plan minimum 4hrs for dharshan.

A temple one hindu devotee must visit.. there are 4 queues for entery.. first is free entry, second is rs 100 entry, third is Rs 300 entry and fourth is Rs 500 entery.. higher the amount u pay, lesser the time u will take to complete Devi darshan.. try to be in atleast Rs 100 queue to avoid delay.. the place will remain crowded till 1 pm.. so try to reach there after 1 pm.. camera is not allowed in this temple.. so no selfies at all..
