Orthodox sisters and worst mentality. Right from watchman to the maid everyone is rude and shameless. Sisters dominate you completely and also too much interference in what you wear, where you go & what you do. Girls around spread rumours and a lot of discrimination if you are not a christian. In the name of God they blackmail you and make you live their way. There is mandatory Christian prayer after dinner(attendance gets tracked) No plug points in the rooms. The electricity switch gets off by 10.30pm. Mandatory irritating useless seminars every now and then. Food and cleanliness is okay. They make you clean kitchen sinks as per your roll no. Not a welcoming place for sure. Overall, this hostel is a torture!!

I stayed in this hostel for about 8 months. Yuvathi sharan is the best hostel in a crowded city like mumbai. It is calm ,clean and serene. This hostel provides all basic emmenities for a best price which suits to pockets. The administration is helpful and caring. Sister Magdalene and Sister irene were caring and heartful people i met in the hostel.At the same time they were strict with girls who were indisciplined. The hostel has certain rules related to timings and behaviour which making it a good place to live. The food is nice and special attention is given to cleanliness. there is rollcall everyday followed by a small prayer nominal to all religion and faiths. All girls were also nice. I miss the festival celebrations, secret santa and fresher party. As i was preparing for a exam during my stay this hostel provided agood environment which i would have not got in other pgs in mumbai. If anybody wants a safe home like place in mumbai, with good rules and regulations then this is the best place.

Stayed here for a good 3 years. Extremely safe, clean, good yummy food (Breakfast & Dinner) and pocket friendly. Not to mention it's in a posh locality with everything close-by. The sisters are very caring, they ensure we enjoy every festival with celebrations around Navratri, Christmas, holi, etc. I made great friends there so it will always hold a special place on my heart. Thank you sister Maggie for taking so good care of us. ❤

I fondly remember this place. I stayed here from 2011 to 2013, I should say it was a home away from home. Very serene and calm place in Prabhadevi which offers hostel facility to young working women. Undoubtedly its a safe place. There are rules but it is for protection of the hostilities, every house has rules why not a hostel runned by nuns. I am a hindu vegetarian girl who happily stayed here. They have both veg and non veg food of good quality. What inmates eat is also eaten by nuns.I miss the Navaratri, onam ,Christmas and new year celebrations we had in yuvati Sharan They have short neutral prayer in the night while taking the attendance just to remember God spiritually and definitely not religiously . If you or any parents is looking for a safe and clean place to stay under the guidance of nuns … this is the place. But if you would like to live a life filled with Freedom and walk -in any time in night , play loud music and bring in friends / family to stay with you then definitely this is not the place for you. We need to remember it is an Hostel and Not a PG house. My sincere thanks and gratitude to the Management- Sister Magdalene ,Sister Irene , Sister Flavia for giving me safe shelter at a nominal price in the beginning of my career in Mumbai.

Conservative and backward. Just read the rules once and you will understand. The sisters are rude, and so is the other staff. You will suffocate here and miss out on the real mumbai people and life if you decide this as a choice. Girls spread rumours and a lot of discrimination if you arent christian. Do not go here, not even as a last resort. Food and cleanliness is good. But thats it, no such thing as a welcoming place.

Nice place for working womans n Girls to stay. The hostel has a mess too where u can get breakfast n dinner at monthly basis. Quite good amidst airy n cool beach near bandra sea link in prabhadevi.

First the good: It's in a prime place in dadar and there are lots of gardens and convenient places around. The rent isn't too high. Now the bad: There two prices of rooms available, one with electricity 24/7 and one without. Being restricted to times for electricity is very uncomfortable. There are just a handful of plug points for even charging phones so most people charge them at their place of work. Sometimes there are thefts as electronics are left in the open, no measures seem to be taken against complaints of this nature. 200 rs extra is charged if you have a laptop that you want to plug in. There are limited sinks per floor and some of those are not working either. Cleaning is done entirely by renters, no sort of cleaning is provided for. The wardens are rude when approached about these things. There are mandatory prayers every evening and sometimes, a mandatory attendance meeting where a preacher preaches. Overall, there is a lot of hypocrisy and restrictions.

I found my home away from home with Yuvati Sharan! I have found a family at my hostel. Anyday is not a rough day for when I am back I have my room mates who could lighten up my mood. The sisters at the Hostel ensure you are having a lovely day everyday. I wish I could have stayed for a longer span but I am sure of carrying memories throughout my life

A super safe place for girls away from home in a posh location. Though amenities part is not so great, it gave me beautiful place to live for more than 2 years. Reasonable rent is yet another benefit.
