A really fantastic place to stay that is good value for money. I stayed at Porto Je T’aime in Vila Nova Gaia for ten days with my young daughter and would recommend it to anyone. Joao is very helpful and communicative with regards to any questions and Zaida is at the property daily should you need anything. It is a 20 minute walk from The Dom Luis bridge or 3 Metro stops away should you not want to walk. You are well placed for World of Wine and other activities in Vila Nova Gaia. The room was well cleaned and again cleaned and the sheets changed during the stay when requested. The kitchen was spotless and very well organised. It was nice having a fridge and cooking facilities particularly on those rainy days where you just want to stay in. Zaida can do your washing for 5 Euro a bag of clothes but I did not use this service and opted for a nearby laundrette instead. My one recommendation for this place for improvement would be to invest in a tumble dryer for the sheets and towels. This would be a lifesaver in the winter months when the air is damp and air drying isn’t so effective and keeping sheets and towels crisp and fresh.

She didn't speak English that well, but I managed with my broken Portuguese.
