    This is a really lovely place to eat, the staff are efficient, friendly and helpful, the food is excellent and well priced. There were 27 people in our group for lunch and every one was served their food within minutes of each other and it was hot and very tasty. Highly recommended!.

    We stopped by for lunch. The salad was made with fresh ingredients and was delicious. Codfish was so good and creamy. The service was also excellent. Highly recommend.

    after the mateus palace visit, we stopped by this place. The female server is very sympathetic and knowledgable. She gave lots of hints about visits in pinhao and regua. food and wine are good and price is affordable. Can definitely recommend!

    Very nice place! The food was excellent (restaurant on the 1st floor) and very kind people. I recommend you to taste the typical cottage pie (with smoked meat).

    Walking into this quirky, quaint little souvenir shop come restaurant I had little expectation. I was blown away by the service and especially the food. I've not had a steak that was so tender and cooked to perfection in a long time. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone and everyone. What an experience.

    Opposite Casa da Mateus, this is a convenient spot for lunch. The food is tasty and reasonably priced. We also had port ice cream which was a first!

    Great food, reasonable prices. The restaurant is really nice and the service was great. We had several appetizers and they were great, fresh and the prices were fair. I can recommend the steak with Port wine sauce. It was delicious. I wasn't sure as this is next to a tourist hot spot but it was a gem. Highly recommended.
