Nice place My friend and I stopped by not knowing it was in a hotel. It's not the nicest place, just a tiny room in the lobby served by a single man. He wasn't the friendliest and disappeared a lot. The food was pretty good and good portioned too. Prices weren't bad especially for St Augustine. It was $35 for a bowl, a chicken sandwich, and a side of chicken. The chicken breast was pretty tough and the pork in the bowl was chewy and basically inedible. But eating around it made everything fine and good. And the chicken sandwich was great. Nice little place, could use some improvements but good for St Augustine.

We just ate there tonight and wanted to leave a review because of wonderful everything was. Our server Nelson was a great host and made us feel at home. The food delicious and excellent portions. By far the best place we dined at for our st Augustine. If we lived here this would be a go to for us. We’re also in the restaurant industry and can tell when the people truly care about the food they are serving.

It is small room in the hotel(The ponce) so hard to find this restaurant. But it is worth to stop by!! Food is really fresh and delicious, very reasonable price, nice staff.

De Leon Latin Cocina is a hidden gem. It is located in the "Ponce" Hotel. Everything I ate was incredible. The tostones and empanadas were very good, especially with the provided sauces. I got the Picada Columbiana, and it was nothing short of miraculous. Would go again.

Couldn’t believe it was inside a hotel, but it was! Food was tasty, made me miss Colombia.

I’ve been coming to De Leon on and off for a couple of years. We used to always order el Paisa and the Caribe bowls, those were such a tasty and inexpensive meal for a the portion. I’d also say their tres leches and mango juice are amazing!! Most recently, we visited this past Saturday and ordered the bandeja paisa and bistec a caballo (ordered this to go and didn’t photograph). My daughter wanted rice and beans with a fried egg which was perfect because the bandeja paisa comes with a fried egg so I just ordered a side of their rice and beans. I’ve never been disappointed by the food or service. The servers are super attentive and the food arrives pretty quickly. If you’re looking for some fairly priced, delicious and authentic food, this is the place for you!

This place is fantastic! In such an unassuming way, I would certainly cost again whether I was staying in the hotel or not. The food is awesome! I highly suggest the pesto bowl. They have some great coffee as well. We went to a place well known for breakfast the first day, and the Cocina was by far, a better deal.
