Vilnius Japanese Garden

Park Garden

😠 I have a legitimate question: did the planners have any input from anyone who had even the slightest knowledge about Japanese culture or landscape design? Cause from the looks of this cheap knock - off it seems not. To add insult to injury, you have a highway and parking lot on one side, a gas stati... People often mention garden,

I have a legitimate question: did the planners have any input from anyone who had even the slightest knowledge about Japanese culture or landscape design? Cause from the looks of this cheap knock - off it seems not. To add insult to injury, you have a highway and parking lot on one side, a gas station on another and a massive office block overshadowing the whole thing. Literally who thought this was a good idea, avoid at all costs.

Interesting, Japanes style garden-park not far from city centre. Some dry & wet rivers and waterfalls, small lake, birds, fishes, places to chill & so on. Kids playground, grass and toilets.

This beautifully maintained garden really impressed me with its tranquillity and thoughtful design. The pontoon bridge over the large pond was a charming touch, and it was quite calming to watch the ducks paddling around. The garden also features a playground that my children thoroughly enjoyed. But the highlight for me was the waterfall - such a soothing sight complementing the peaceful atmosphere of the garden.

It's very nice to have a park like this in the middle of the city :) It's a perfect place for a walk, run, sit & relax. There's a playground for kids and toilets in place too.

Good place to relax with family. Parking is plenty and cheap. Park entrance is free. You can play with various instruments in children playground area. Recommended for families, nature loving or stressed people :)

Still a new and naturally young place in the city of Vilnius. It is especially suitable for a quiet walk both from the Neris river and from the side of the Linkmenų lakes.

A new Japanese garden park close to city center, perfect for calm walk during evenings or lunch break. Nice big pond. Opened recently, so some plants still need to grow. Keep in mind no cyclists are not allowed

A beautiful japanese garden. It's really nice to walk around, but a bit sad that it doesn't look well kept. Plenty of trees that look dead (usually with a note that it's under observation), toilet is out of order, bamboo fence is slowly deteriorating. Hopefully the city won't let such a nice space to go to waste!

Молодой парк. Много растений. Работы в нем не закончились. Следующей весной там будет интересно.

The garden is very new and most trees are not big yet, so it feels a little bit empty. Loved the waterfall feature. A few small ponds with ducks and water lillies are nearby, so it makes a lovely walk.
