I was really disappointed by that restaurant and the rating of other guests as of the time of my visit (4.6 with 100+ reviews) make no sense. Food was served in a small portion and was anything but good. Considering the quality of the food, the small portion and the service it was way overpriced (1465 RD$ which is ~ 30 USD for the meal on the picture). Service itself was ok but not attentive and at the time of my visit there have not been a lot of other guests.

Went there for a company gathering, the place is really nice with lots of old brick walls during back to colonial times. The food was superb, it was a buffet but the chef really presented some of the best dishes I had ever tasted including a mandioca pure that was so so creamy and like 50% cheese and the most soft and juicy chicken In cream sauce that I've ever had...outstanding.

Good restaurant with delicious food and tasty drinks and good service. As the food was tasty we went there twice for dinner during our stay in Santo Domingo.

This is probably the worst restaurant I have ever been to. The food was totally disgusting and incredibly slow to arrive as well. I went early (about 6pm) and the only other people were a couple. The starter took 30 minutes to arrive and the main course another 45 mins. The starter was basically inedible, and when the main course did arrive, the fish was almost completely raw . I sent it back to be recooked, but then gave up waiting, so paid for everything and left and went to eat somewhere else. A total waste of nearly two hours of my life and $40.

Excellent food and service. Nice ambiance and good margaritas that we ordered twice. Would recommend for Spanish gastronomy using local products. Very stylish place with old and modern decor. Close to everything. Spanish pizzas called here “Cocas” are a must to try 😋 ..!

Enjoyable outdoor space with good food, good wine and excellent service. I had the house burger with a side salad. Yum!

Excellent meal, environment and serving staff. You may have to wait for your meal but it's worth it!

Place it's beautifully decorated and it has that feeling that you can only get at the Colonial Zone, where quaint and modern meet perfectly! The Porcini mushrooms cream was sooo delicious and so where the pizzas! Service what a tad slow, servers where very attentive.

Incredible cuisine! This spot surpasses other well-known restaurants in La Zona Colonial. Exceptional service, charming patio, and the finest Chinola Mojito around. It can rival Maraca; among all the upscale places nearby, this one stands out.

What an amazing locale...yet what a missed opportunity to have an amazing experience. Maybe the endless use of plastic plants, the mold stained canvas that provides shade...the painted PVC pipes disguising the bar shelves...tired booths... The bar selection of Whiskey, gin an vodka is sorely lacking...now for their saving graces, their 5-6 rums on hand are above average, their Chinolita aperol spritzer was a very nice twist on a classic. Food was okay, no complaints there. Probably worth skipping

Beautiful atmosphere but the service was very slow. The restaurant was barely occupied with other guests and we couldn't believe our simple meal of a pizza and burger took over an hour to arrive. The food was tasty no complaints on that regard but if your hungry and want something right away this isn't the place.

This place is great combination of excellent service, delicious food and original drinks. I went there once for a dinner and did not regret about my decision. I ordered 4 different tapas, you can see all of them on the pictures below. I would say it is the best place to have dinner in that area although I have not been to all restaurants in Colonial zone.

Excellent restaurant for adult nights and families, we were pleasantly surprised at how amazing the restaurants in Santo Domingo have been. Special thanks to the service waitress Ecali xx

Nice place and ambiance, great service but very bad food. The risotto is particularly hedious. Actually we ordered 10 different dishes and nothing was above average. Too bad because the location is really good.

Everything from the colonial ambiance, to the food and drinks, and of course the server's service was on point. Must recommend the 'montaditos de queso de hoja' and the sangria. I've been here twice and have no complaints!

Fabulous dinner. Characteristic colonial location, good food and service. Fair price. My husband had a picanha and I had a risoto, they were both delicious.

The food and drinks were delish. In particular, I highly recommend the Pechuga and Crimini, the depth of flavor in the sauce was amazing. Get the Blue Moon Mojito, you won’t be disappointed!

Top level service by Oscar. Best service I had on the whole island. He may as well have been trained by Mr Carson on Downton Abbey. He was perfectly attentive without intruding. Served in a lovely upscale style. The food was great I recommend the charcuterie and yuka with the fried egg and creme sauce. I had the coconut passion fruit cocktail and it was a nice sweet counter to the dishes. Hidden gem away from the hustle and bustle of the Spanish plaza and Colombus square. It was our last night and the experience was the icing on the cake.

👍👍 The venue is very cute, the view on the ocean is spectacular. The staff was super friendly this day. The food was really good and arrived extremely fast. I had Mofongo (So delicious) and Sancocho (very good)! The only pros was the dessert.
