The food was very delicious, really near perfect, it couldn't be better. Apart from the food, there are a few things that this restaurant could improve: - The menu is two large pages full of text, to choose what to eat you need to read really a lot of text first, i don't know why they don't just add some pictures. If I'm hungry i don't want to have to read half a book first - The Aircon was too cold, better bring a jacket - The staff was not very attentive, even though the restaurant was not very full at the time we were there - The prices... They're intense

The food was delicious, the decor fantastic beach like themed. The drinks were food as well, overall pretty good place for friends to get together for dinner or drinks.

Expensive and nasty food!! Ordered octopus. Some twenty very tiny slices of the smallest leg part, chewy and cold with even tinier avocado little pieces. None was possible to pinch with fork. Can’t eat most of the food in the menu so I’ve ordered a steak. More than two thirds were left, all fat and nerves and the other third was tough and uneatable. Felt like unfrozen in a microwave out of the freezer and over cooked, (I’ve asked for well done which doesn’t mean over cooked). Not much light so I couldn’t see well how it looked like before trying to eat it. I’ve ordered octopus as entree and steak as main. On a party of seven, they brought both together arguing I did a “special order”, but some 15 minutes before the rest of the party. When asked how it was, I told them and the answer was I ordered well done. Another in the party had stewed beef...also tough!! So it wasn’t a matter of doneness! Both plus a bottle of water went up to some $50. For this price, you can eat in most of the best restaurants in town where they understand what well done is and the quality of both food and service are way up. Sorry, never again!

They just killed it with their lousy service.. I cannot speak for the cuisine though since there was a black out.. yes,.. a black out and they didn't have a back up system in place and we were requested to pay the 2 bottles of sparkling water we've ordered before the energy event!

The food was the best in Paraguay! They should work a little bit more about the service but… the food I just loved it. Thank you

Great Nikkei peruvian food, including the choice of using local freshwater fish for the ceviche. Also great pisco sours and very nice interior design of the space. Recommended!

One of the best ceviches I’ve had. The makis were delicious as were the cocktails. We went with the staff recommendations and it did not disappoint. The vibe of the place is nice and cozy with good music, but not loud. This restaurant is in my top list in Asunción.

Great food and very enjoyable atmosphere! Also make vegan options out of menu if not too busy

International level peruvian/japanese fusion sea food in the heart of Asuncion’s premium gastronomic street.

Nice place. Big bar and patio. Edible ceviche. A bit overpriced.

Top quality restaurant in Asunción, a bit crowded on evening but worth the wait. A must to visit while in Asunción.

Preface: We are a couple traveling with 2 children, 4 and 6 years old. We love good food and love introducing our kids to new cuisines. This is our first time in Asuncion, travelling through Paraguay to see Iguazu Falls. I found Sipan by doing a little research on the dining scene in Asuncion - great reviews, fusion food, seems very appealing, so we go. We arrive in Sipan by taxi around 740pm shortly after the place opens, Thursday night. It is EMPTY, only 2 people sitting at a table outside. We approach the hostess, she asks if we have a reservation, we say no. She looks at her list and says we can work something out, after which the restaurant manager comes over - looks at us up and down - and says no, no tables available. I don't want jump into conclusions, but can't stop to think that we were denied the service because we were either with kids, or we were not dressed well enough, or both. Either way, a bad way to treat fellow travellers who love good food and were ready to spread a good word if the food was as great as everyone says. Thanks for the warm welcome Sipan!

👍👍 Very nice experience at Bolsi, I had bife de chorizo rustico with potatoes and fried onions. It was excellent. 400gm of heaven with a cup of malbac and creme brulee to boot. The service was just excellent. Resterant was nice, dining inside but they also had dining outside and had a bakery attached....
