Went in after having an old permanent retainer break. Because I’d had previous work at a different orthodontist, they charged me 50$ for the doctor to look at my broken retainer and tell me it would be another 500$ to remove it. Entire visit was 30 seconds. Paid 50$ when all their websites and info refer to “free consult”. Paid 50$ for someone to ask for another 500$ from me. Doctor time or not, it’s cheap and extremely poor customer service.

After months of contemplating starting the orthodontic journey, and reading many reviews I choose a few places to get free consultations done. Chawla being my first choice, due to the high reviews I was super excited to get in to get an estimate on a treatment plan. The staff was super friendly, the dentist was nice as well. They followed up rather quickly asking if I wanted to start care. I let them know I was going to be getting another consult done before making a finally decision, with that I asked for a copy of my patient records. At no point was I told that requesting a copy of my record, which I had called twice to request that I would be billed. I received a voicemail shortly after getting the emailed records stating I needed to call in to the office to take care of my balance before it was sent to collections? I was unaware I even had a balance due to staff not notifying me that I would be billed for requesting a record from a FREE consult. None the less, I will not be returning for treatment and I would have no issues paying for my records prior to being threatened about being send to collections for a fee that the office didn’t even notify me about. Amanda did inform me, when I called back after receiving the voicemail it was actually 250$ X-ray that they were willing to discount for 100$. If you’re charging patients for records, should be informed PRIOR to you sending them.

Everyone is extremely and genuinely polite! The Doctor is so professional and awesome! Always attentive, hands on and detailed with his patients. I am so happy with everyone at this office from scheduling appointments, the dental assistants and Dr. Chawla! Thanks 😁!

Just brought my kids here for the first time today. We had a dentist in Lombard that recently closed and I saw the reviews for here online so gave it a shot and so happy we did! The staff is so beyond friendly even from the phone call before hand setting the appointment all the way to the visit they were so nice and down to earth. It was clean and so cute i even got a tour while i was there! They were so amazing interacting with the kids and very good at explaining everything to me and laying out my options instead of pushing me to get certain things done. Very pleased with them so far and excited to continue here.

I took my son here for orthodontic treatment two years ago and he just had his braces removed about three weeks ago. In my honest opinion the entire journey was amazing. Each and every appointment was hassle free, with very short wait times. Although I didn’t interact with Dr Chawla often, he always made my son and I feel at ease. The office is always in immaculate condition, and very cozy. His staff is very friendly and I need to give a huge shoutout to DEBBIE who unfortunately no longer works there. But she went above and beyond for me when I needed a last minute appointment to have my sons braces removed and have a retainer made on a Friday! She made it happen all last minute! By Saturday morning, I had gone and picked up my sons retainer and his flight left that night. I don’t understand any of the 1 star reviews...Dr Chawla offers great payment plans and his prices are amazing (remember, you get what you pay for!)

The people that work here are amazing. Tiffany and Debbie at the front desk are very welcoming and friendly. They are all kind and helpful. Dr Chawla is an amazing Orthodontist and Mina, what an awesome dental assistant. The office is also very clean and modern/comfortable. I highly recommend this office. They also have an office in Westmont that we sometimes have appts at and they are just as great.

It was hard at first with braces but this place helped me throughout the entire process. They have good employees and a safe environment. Plus I got a goodie bag at the end.
