After
months
of
contemplating
starting
the
orthodontic
journey,
and
reading
many
reviews
I
choose
a
few
places
to
get
free
consultations
done.
Chawla
being
my
first
choice,
due
to
the
high
reviews
I
was
super
excited
to
get
in
to
get
an
estimate
on
a
treatment
plan.
The
staff
was
super
friendly,
the
dentist
was
nice
as
well.
They
followed
up
rather
quickly
asking
if
I
wanted
to
start
care.
I
let
them
know
I
was
going
to
be
getting
another
consult
done
before
making
a
finally
decision,
with
that
I
asked
for
a
copy
of
my
patient
records.
At
no
point
was
I
told
that
requesting
a
copy
of
my
record,
which
I
had
called
twice
to
request
that
I
would
be
billed.
I
received
a
voicemail
shortly
after
getting
the
emailed
records
stating
I
needed
to
call
in
to
the
office
to
take
care
of
my
balance
before
it
was
sent
to
collections?
I
was
unaware
I
even
had
a
balance
due
to
staff
not
notifying
me
that
I
would
be
billed
for
requesting
a
record
from
a
FREE
consult.
None
the
less,
I
will
not
be
returning
for
treatment
and
I
would
have
no
issues
paying
for
my
records
prior
to
being
threatened
about
being
send
to
collections
for
a
fee
that
the
office
didn’t
even
notify
me
about.
Amanda
did
inform
me,
when
I
called
back
after
receiving
the
voicemail
it
was
actually
250$
X-ray
that
they
were
willing
to
discount
for
100$.
If
you’re
charging
patients
for
records,
should
be
informed
PRIOR
to
you
sending
them.
