(Translated by Google) Very nice museum, the place very careful the service of the people who work there is first class, the price to enter is super accessible, the tour is very good on each floor of the museum there are explanatory videos about what there is, they give us detailed explanation of what were the cultures that inhabited the state and where else they are as well as an overview of the other museums that we can visit in general a very beautiful experience. (Translated by Google) I really liked the museum, the information and pieces that are in it are very good. You go through it in an hour and a half minimum. What surprised me most is that there are few people who visit museums. The day I went there were only 4 people in the whole museum. What I did not like is that the museum shop is super poor, there is nothing relevant. And there are no guides. Another excellent regional museum with a collection mostly from La Venta. Unfortunately the interpretive signs are not bilingual and there are no audio guides. This museum also has on display a codice, a rarity for mesoamerican museums.

Entry was free today; normally 28 pesos. 10 staff working, but we were the only visitors. Lots of prehispanic artifacts, including the Mayan calendar predicting 2012 to be the end of the world!

Great museum about the Mayas in Tabasco. Entrance fee was 24 pesos and well worth the hour I’ve spent here. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the air-con works great! If you’re on a walk through town, it’s a great place to cool down while informing you about the history of the Mayas and watch many very interesting artefacts. Apparently, there are other expositions as well since they were preparing a painting exhibition, but at the time of my visit that part of the museum was closed to visitors, unfortunately.

Go there if you want to know more about the mesoamerican peoples who made Tabasco their home. More information could have been shown not only in Spanish but also in English. Bonus: contemporary art exhibitions.

(Translated by Google) A great museum both in size and cultural richness, they have an endless number of articles, pieces and writings of the Mayan and Olmec culture, in addition to being well distributed on the 3 floors, also their modernity of the edition and the attention of the people who work there, this is the best museum in Tabasco to learn about history and culture not only of Tabasco but also of the Mayan / Olmec culture. It has parking, bathrooms and is in a great location.

(Translated by Google) That museum is amazing. From the entrance to the last room the work dedicated to its design is much appreciated. The entire collection is about the Mayan culture. I recommend going with time because, although it is not big, you have a lot to see and appreciate. There are a couple of rooms with videos. Outside it, there are good places to eat although, as in all Villahermosa, they close them early (~ 16: 00 h).

(Translated by Google) Hello, come back to laziness, as we say in Mexico. I already had time without traveling. And as soon as I left. I arrived at the museum of regional anthropology of Tabasco CARLOS PELLICER. I will recommend some good, comfortable, cheap and beautiful hotels in Villahermosa. Of those that serve well to travel the world without spending much. So you can go to know this museum. It is top notch. Naturally exposed pieces, vessels, monoliths, true story told by each of those pieces. People who have not visited the museums are lost in the magic that all these archeological pieces transmit. Just seeing them and knowing their age transports you hundreds or thousands of years ago. It is a sensation and an impressive atmosphere. Remodeled, well organized, and in a beautiful area of the city, do not overlook the museum. You'll be surprised.
