Sehr aufschlussreicher Besuch!

Really nice museum. Learned a lot of information on how the honey is produced and the bees are kept. The place is calm and well kept. You can purchase honey here. I persinalky liked a lot the aroma therapy room were all different flowers collected by bees were explained. Entrance fee for adults - 4 EUR. Totally recommend.

A beautiful spot to feel like you are part of an ancient Lithuanian tradition. Well done exhibits for kids, and very interesting information for adults. We we're lucky to get a short Q&A with one of the family, but there is an audio tour available and a pretty comprehensive text/booklet in the main building available in several languages look for that.

We had a nice bike trip through the forest from paluse to the beekeeping museum, where we had a really great time with the guidet tour around the whole place with our wonderful guide ❤️🌷🐝 We recommend the guidet tour, as all the stories and information and talks we had with our guide gave us a heartfelt interest for bees, beekeeping and biodiversity 🌍🐝 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Interesting place to see and to learn something about beekeeping. Take the Audioguide☝️ as most written explanations are not in English or German

Amazing place, the guide there will very happily share some interesting information, very pleasant service. Lots to see about the bee keeping. Not a huge place but very relaxing and interesting, our 7 year old son loved it. We had coffee and ice cream in the new cafe, also bought some quite special mead. The cocoa was out of this world, I absolutely loved it. We also bought some honey and other products on the way out, all made locally. A must visit if you’re in the area.

Museum of bee keeping and honey making. Lovely place, not too big but just enough to stop have a look, walk around, bread fresh air and learn about honey making. As they have live bees there and also produce, we bought it straight away and it was really good honey. Some rest stop, WC, some children playground with sand and just place to sit down and relax all present. You drive on a paved road in the middle of woods to get there also. So fresh air is guaranteed. Children will love it here I think.

Educative museum about the history of this place and bees. We went for a special festival with market, animations and singer. Explanations are available in English. And parking is easy.

The museum is located far from main road in the middle of forest. Several buildings with modern expositions and educational programs are available. We did not manage to check everything as you need to have at least 2-3 hours for exploring. Highlight: calming experience with aroma terapy in hamacs.

It's a very cosy place, but I feel that some things could be improved.. such as providing free honey samples (as they are not allowed to sell these and make a profit due to being publicly owned, meaning it either goes to waste or is shared by employees). It would be nice if kids for instance could get to taste real honey. 4 euro entrance fee for adults and free entrance for kids. Overall I really liked the place, but I can't help but wonder if 4 euro pr person is too much when everything is pre-recorded. Dont get me wrong, it was great.. I just don't see how the entrance fee is justifiable when maintenance is limited and there are very few employees. Regardless, I do believe it is worth a visit and the employees were beyond friendly
