Very interesting space museum, we had great tour and explanation from the manager of the place. This is unique museum the only in Lithuania so if you in the country you need to visit. Space history and science of Lithuania 🇱🇹 Highly recommend !

Loved it, but I would also love to see more. We had a hour long tour, which felt like 5 minutes (very interesting). There could be a bigger gift shop, with T-Shirts, cosmological attributes, etc. No coffee shop or snacks, at all. The tour could be more for grownups (serious, scientific), we felt like seven-grade pupils. Surrounding area is beautiful by itself. Spend 10 minutes walking around the building, bring a snack and cup of coffee with you, you will enjoy the views and the peaceful nature. The solar system out of rocks is beautiful as well.

Very interesing and nice place to see, unfortunately all excursions are organized by guide who speaks only Lithuanian, no translation in ENG or German, long cues. You have to wait for 2,5 h to get in, no information on that you need to book the time in advance. Nice stone garden outside.

Visited second time only now also inside. There are a number of interesting historical artefacts and quite nice interrior setup with interactive objects and projections to look at and try out. Do not miss the space cafe on second floor! The excursion move at a moderate to fast pace, so look at the objects during listening, there will be no time after! Also, it really helps if you already know a lot about space. The cinema part is way to old and quite misleading, It should be upgraded to more modern aproaches to go with time. End of exposition contains superb summaries of recent, existing and near future space exploration missions! Very good!

We got the perfectly clear sky. The objects through the telescope were even bigger and more clear than expected. The guide, whose name I can’t remember :(, was the best, as he could answer to any question anybody would dare to ask

Amazing experience to watch stars & planets in deep black sky in a very season (August). In-depth explanations during a guided tour. Much recommended!

Only tours, no individual visits, so make sure you buy tickets in advance. there is still a chance to buy them on the spot, but it is not guaranteed. Take a snack with you as there is no cafe and you will want to walk around picturesque area.

I like this museum a lot. Interesting place with original buildings. In the top of main building you will find magnificent point of view. The museum has a lot of interesting stuff about cosmos and cosmos investigation. The personal is very educated and polite. You definitely need to order excursion with guide. With guide museum visiting will be more useful. Enjoy guy's this place!

Very magical place. It was my second time there but it is absolutely amazing after recent modernisation. The views are stunning, the tour guide is very well- informed. Well... at least for a layman. A must- see while visiting Lithuania.

The museum has just had a new, revised exhibition launched. It explores the ethnographic depictions of cosmic items such as stars in household objects, traditional place names, meaningful dates, farming calendar and others. It also explains the evolution of scientific theories up to current times. There are specific rooms and exhibits for space travel, meteors, and future of science. The exhibition is impressively designed with clever light and projection techniques and culminates by taking the visitors up to the observation deck in the alien ship looking tower with views of the lake filled area of Moletai for miles. The surrounding area is nice for a walk or a picnic and has a few cosmology related sculptures to see. The exhibition can be accessed by booking onto a tour and cannot be visited without a guide. You can turn up and book tickets, but on busy days like the weekends it's best to pre-book. The exhibition is not fully accessible as far as I saw - the rooms have some steps between them until the tour gets to the elevator for the tower.

This museum has been newly renovated. It is such a shame that it cannot be accessed without a tour guide present as I believe our experience of this place would have been very different. We had Valdas, who was rude and condescending. The behaviour displayed was shocking and a stark opposite to the treatment we received from staff at The Astronomical Obsevatory within the same village.

I would say it is the most modern and full of moving spectacles museum in Lithuania! 🌟 Many thanks to guide Valdas who is incredible at his job, knows how to atract people's attention and makes every small detail even more interesting. Spectacular building having so much peace being on top. Totally recommend to visit!!

Cool place, I liked it, not sure if they do English tours but my gf translated anyway. Didn't like that it's a nice tour that culminates in a really nice viewing platform up on high, but afterwards it's there's the exit see you bye. No you can go back down the hill to the ticket desk and buy ice-cream or stuff and use the toilets but you have to reenter which I found odd, and for us, they closed, so no last minute toilet stops or ice-cream, plan ahead.

New interactive exposition. The story the guide told was interesting to listen. Also a movie about the sizes of the planets and other objects were shown. Exposition of cosmical and spacecraft objects were really interesting. Recommend. My 3, 5 year old daughter liked it.

Hi everyone. Perfect sunny day. Do it on last mnth Sunday, entrance is free, u gonna get 1.3min and a guide (only Lithuanian language). Really interesting. Think about the kids to take 5hem or no. Cos certain thing r hard to understand even for mature person. Keep in mind u will need to go for more than a 60km, on worst road in Lithuania (Vilnius-Utena). 5 🌟

Excellent daytime guided tour with newly renovated expositions and even more updates coming towards the end of the year. You can also book night time tour with usage of the big or small telescope. In case of bad weather you'll be notified half a day before the visit whether skies will be clear or not.

Very interesting place. Night excursions is a must (better not on early summer, very difficult to see whats on the sky), all staff are very professional and friendly. Highly recommend

Honestly probably one of the best places you can visit in Lithuania. The new exposition left us in awe. Incredible experience both for adults and children - the tour guides are super professional, the exposition itself is incredibly modern and dynamic and there is a lovely outside area where you can visit the gardens free of charge. I absolutely loved it and would highly recommend to visit!
