Beautiful place to take pictures, lots of people go here for fishing and boating. Not that kid friendly due to the dangerous nature of the river. North side of the park needs some attention from the groundskeepers and from us people that come to this beautiful place, there’s trash and lots of beer cans laying around. Don’t forget to pick up after yourselfs, always remember the damage that trash causes to the wild life.

Very nice place to go cool off. Easy to get to and alot of cool trails that lead to lots of good swimming locations. Would be alot nicer if there wasn't an old man that harasses you about everything that looks wrong about what your driving or why you stopped. I am an evacuated person from one of the many fires currently burning in northern California and placed a call to the owner of the mobile home park at location and although I haven't stayed there they did return my phone call in a very timely manner and offered to do what they could to try to help me out. I thank them very much for that it was comforting knowing there are still people out there willing to help out. Plus they have some really cool old toys there also well I call them tools but most would call them toy's.

Sooo pretty and peaceful. Lots of picnic tables, beautiful green grass/clover cover, good fishing spot. Be 5 star if their restrooms opened in March!!💯

Good for one or two night camping, campground is decent and not very crowded. The host and the rangers were very good. There's a small beach on Sacramento river where you can swim, kayak, otherwise there's not much to do. No proper hiking trails. Showers facility available.

The Woodson Camp ground was very nice with Park Rangers being very helpful, trails, greenery, and peaceful during the week. The downfall were ticks, I didn't get any but my dog and friend did and then the ants. But overall an awesome time!! I will back!!!😊

Great place to catch salmon, trout, striped bass, steelhead and lots of other fish! Great place to let the kids play at the park or even for rv camping!! Lots of fun.. book a fishing charter, I booked with Justin Thompson from team Jeff Goodwin guide service!! 🎣🥰

The campground is nice and spacious between sites. It was hot when we stayed in May and with no electricity, it was kind of a sweaty night, but in the morning it was nice. Access to the river is a bit of a hike through the trees and tall grass, to the neighboring park. There may be access at different times of the year but when we were there, the river was up to the banks.

Nice place to spend some time outdoors. The river is cold and beautiful. The oak trees are huge and impressive.

👍👍 Beautiful winery, beautiful scenery. Charming & quaint and the history of the property and its start is interesting! Loved the wine. Purchased several bottles and gave 2 as gifts. The church is gorgeous and tranquil. The statues and woodwork and stained glass are so lovely. We went before Christmas...

👍👍 Top notch wines, orchards, vineyards, and a beautiful church with history. In fact the entire property has a history worth learning about. Great place to stop on your way north or south through California.
