Have been patronizing this location for years. It is a must have every time I’m in Atlanta. Wait times are still lengthy and restaurant is usually at capacity. They do a good job in handling the volume. Service is always on point, very friendly and welcoming staff. Dinner for two with a cocktail will definitely run a $100+

Pappadeaux is a well visited seafood restaurant in whatever location they may be. However, today we had a problem with our food, first one of us and then another. Normally, the food is well prepared and very tasty. With the second mention of the food being too salty, the manager visited our table. Ms Lena was very apologetic and offered us a salad or soup and credited our bill. Our server, Ms Destiny, was very professional and courteous. Even with today's issue, I will be visiting Pappadeaux again. Being a travel professional allows me to share with others.

As a first timer I enjoyed my meal! Everything was perfection (to me). On the other hand my significant other, who doesn’t enjoy spicy food thought that his shrimp, in the shrimp and grits were very spicy. I wish that would’ve be notated on the menu before ordering. I enjoy spicy things and tried a shrimp which I don’t normally call things spicy, thought that the shrimp were indeed a little spicy. And the amount of grits you get for that price is a little ridiculous. Service was great! Atmosphere was nice. I will return, but unfortunately he will not.

Beautiful inside and out. Food was a different swag. I had the shrimp and grits, the grits had cheese and corn inside, it was very creamy! Shrimps was grilled. Also had a house salad with sweet bacon. Would eat again! I tried the alligator bites was fresh and good!

I love this restaurant I’ve had good experiences every time I visited here. It’s very popular so of course it’s always busy no matter the time you go so there will be some sort of wait but depending on the time it might be 15 minutes or it might be 40 minutes or more. All the times I’ve been here the food was good & the drinks have been good too. It is a New Orleans style restaurant so some of the food is spicy & it is expensive but that’s expected. Since it’s always busy everything is fast paced from sitting you to taking your order to getting your food delivered to your table. The atmosphere inside is amazing, the staff is friendly & you get your money’s worth.

Went here for my Birthday celebration. Had reservations. Nice atmosphere. Waiter was great: attentive, funny and made great suggestions for drinks and meals. every appetizer, entree and drink we ordered was EXCELLENT!!! Went back the next day for lunch takeout for the shrimp and Grits. They did not disappoint. DELICIOUS. This is my new #1 go to restaurant when I visit Atlanta.

The food is always amazing. It might take a while to get in the door if you don’t have a reservation. Food comes out quickly and fresh. The staff is always amazing. My family frequent this location all the time. 10 out 10 I recommend.

This was my first time coming here. The food was absolutely amazing. I barely ate anything on the platter and I was full. The seafood platter was incredible. Our waiter was incredibly nice and was on top of everything we ordered. The food came out fast as well! A little pricey, but definitely worth it!

The service was great and friendly. Shout out to our server Darius who was very attentive. As well as Niki his manager, who gave us suggestions on where to go later that night or the rest of our trip in GA. Serving sizes were decent. Food is well seasoned. I'm allergic to shellfish so I had the shrimp and grits with the shrimp on the side. I thought it would be lacking but baby it was full of flavor! For dessert, creme brulee . Yum. Just yum. Drinks were on point too. My only complaint was that it didn't seem like the air was on inside. No ventilation. I had to use a kids menu as a fan. Make sure you have a reservation and be sure to get photos outside. I'll be back!

Service - EXCELLENT Food - Average (Trout, Shrimp, Skewers, Calamari, Crab & Spinach Dip) Trout x 2 - Filleted yet full of bones. Bland. Very unappetizing. I couldn’t enjoy it because every fork full was bones. It’s served with lemon butter, seared shrimp & spinach. The seared shrimp on the trout were THE BEST THING I had!! The seared shrimp were VERY GOOD and seasoned well! The trout itself was not. Calamari - great portion size, fried a bit too soft but about average as far as flavor - served with a flavorful marinara Fried Shrimp - EXCELLENT portion size but VERY bland; served with standard fries - basic Crab & Spinach Dip - A good amount of lump crab meat in the dip - a bit oily & broken, garlic toast points were great Seafood Skewers - Nice Char on veggies, salmon undercooked, scallops and shrimp tasty, dirty rice flavorful I did speak with the manager about the bony fish and she was very open to hear the feedback and our server was very pleasant and responsive. Hopefully next visit will be a bit more flavorful because we do look forward to returning. Everybody has off days, guess today was an off day - or at least for me it was. Total $175 - worth it due to portion sizes, service and food is actually cooked, not just poured out of a bag.

Simply the best! Not the seafood place you'd expect. More like fine dining that has seafood dishes. Still amazing! Everything is large portions. Eat Responsibly!

I always enjoy the food and the service here. Chad (Trainer) has been the best server in my experience. He is so friendly and very attentive making sure his guests have a great dining experience. Always make a reservation and arrive early to find parking. You can never go wrong with any of their cocktails or frozen drinks, crab dip and any of their entrees!

I had the shrimp Alfredo, and it was amazing. The food was delicious, with a great location, and the servers were awesome 👌 👏... I'll definitely visit again if I ever go back to GA.

Went for lunch and was seated right away. The food came out fairly quick. The seafood gumbo was good. The poboy was ok…not bad but not great. I would have preferred the bread toasted and it just seemed to lack flavor. The catfish also lacked flavor and the red beans were kind of dry. The calamari was cooked well and the drink was strong and tasty. Service was good.

Went to Pappadeaux’s for a friend’s birthday. This is my first visit in over three years. The food was absolutely amazing. The portions were so big, I could not finish my food. Our host was absolutely wonderful and very professional. Five stars and I’ll be back soon.

I found every dish to be a bit too salty from the fried calamari to the crab and spinach dip to my entree. The blackened flounder was already salty enough but the New Orleans sauce made it even saltier. The gumbo was just way too salty. The service was great.

Table for 5 for Birthday dinner I made a reservation online about a week ahead of time.  Strange thing, the online reservation would only let me put in 4 guests even though we had 5 in our party. I chose 4 and modified the notes section explaining we actually had 5. The day of the reservation, I approached the restaurant and noticed the attached parking lot was packed. I had to drive around a few minutes to find an available spot.  The parking lot itself is a medium size, but it seemed to be a busy time in the area.  We arrived on time, entered the restaurant and were greeted warmly. I let the hostess know we had a reservation. She searched and quickly found it in the system.  She advised that we could not be seated until the full party arrived. She offered the bar or the side parlor as a waiting area.   We waited for the rest of our party and they eventually seated us a little early prior to the final 2 arriving. Once the full party arrived, we ordered our beverages  and reviewed the menu.  Our server, Christopher, was attentive, friendly and answered all of our questions.  We ordered 3 orders of Shrimp and Grits, one without the Spicy Creole butter sauce.  My youngest daughter ordered the Chicken Tenders with French Fries and Wifey ordered the the special Tagliatelle pasta dish with grilled shrimps, scallops and crab.  A little tip; ask for the complimentary bread basket. Our server told us they do not automatically bring it out any more and you have to ask for it.  As I mentioned, it was a busy night and our food was extremely slow to come out. The manager even came to the table to apologize for the inconvenience and advised that our dessert would be complementary.  When the food finally arrived, everyone really enjoyed their meal. The only complaint was that the fries were a little cold with the Chicken Tenders. My wife commented that her seafood pasta dish was “Damn Good”.  We ordered our complimentary dessert to go and wrapped up our night.  Overall,  we had a good experience during this visit to Pappadeaux, celebrating my daughter’s birthday.

First time I went here the food was good. I had the seafood platter with fish, shrimp, fries, etc. Second time I came I got the shrimp and grits. I also had the alligator for appetizer. The grits come with corn and were decent, but I wasn’t a fan. They sort of overloaded with the spices which made me not enjoy my meal too much. My drink was a mock tail which was really good.

We ate dinner on a Thursday. Made reservations and were seated immediately. Service was great - we had a trainee who was being mentored, so it was double the attention. The alligator bites were large and cooked perfectly. We tried the lobster tails, fried seafood sampler, the crawfish platter with fried crawfish and etoufee, and the half chicken. Everything was on point. The only downside is that it's too expensive to eat here every day 🤣

My experience at this restaurant was amazing it was very easy to make reservations online. My husband and I had reservations for 12p.m. we were greeted and sat down immediately. We ordered appetizers which were crispy alligator and some crab spinach dip. I never had alligator before and it was surprisingly delicious. For our entrees we had Louisiana Gumbo, catfish poboy sandwich, and shrimp and grits. This restaurant has an alcoholic beverage called swamp-thing and it is a must try. I was very happy with the serve we received and I will definitely be returning. Also the atmosphere inside and outside the restaurant is beautiful

Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen is the largest concept in one of the largest family-owned and operated restaurant companies in the United States. Large room, delicious food. Waiter was really slow and always forgetting about our requests, we could wait for 20(!) min just for the boxes to take away food etc. Crab cake was excellent, platrers are extremely well cooked, cocktails were top notch.

Amazing restaurant experience!!! Beautiful courtyard waiting area. Huge dining areas. Big menu. Superior service. We loved everything we ordered. Would have liked to try dessert but was just too full. Such a delicious experience. You should try it if you are in area. 😊

Other than the long wait for a table (almost two hours), the food was good, fresh and served promptly. We were a party of two and arrived on a Saturday at 2PM. The food is worth the wait. It’s the closest to New Orleans food that you can get in the Atlanta area.

We ordered calamari for an appetizer ans they had the legs!!! My favorite part, cooked very well, not at all chewy. I had crispy salmon, shrimp and scallops with sautéed spinach. My husband had fried oysters, red beans and rice and fries. My food was cooked perfectly, the scallops basically melted in my mouth, the shrimp I personally would've liked maybe 2 more minutes of cooking time, but it was still good and the salmon had a medium rare cook which I don't usually like, but the way they cooked it with the crispy exterior it was amazing! The food was seasoned well and everything was great. My husband's oysters were perfectly breaded and seasoned, not too thick a layer of breading and fried to perfection crispy outside, gooey inside. The fries were good too, my husband said the red beans and rice were real good. We got cheesecake for dessert that was great, we took it home to eat.

Five years ago, I would have given this restaurant a 5 stars. As of recent, it gets a 3 stars. Prices are up and food portions are down. The service was a 10/10 but the food was just okay. Overall, I enjoyed celebrating a birthday here, so I would have to say my experience this time gets a 4/5. If you have a party over 5, I would recommend making reservations. (Appetizers I liked- calamari and cheese bites)

Great service and tasty, over priced food. Maybe that’s the new normal after Covid19. Was in the area visiting an old buddy that I hadn’t seen in quite some time. He suggested this place which I had heard about quite a bit, It always wanted to come to try out. Seems to have a real following of people who are just in love with it. I had blackened snapper with grits. It was good but not $45 worth of good, For a blackened fish fillet & 1.5 cups of grits which tasted very good.. Really can’t see what people rave so much about. The place was packed though and we had to wait 30 minutes to get a table. So maybe I’m just missing whatever it is that people love about this place.

My first time here and I wasn't disappointed! The service was great, our waiter was very attentive and didn't let empty/dirty dishes sit on our table for 2 minutes! The food was outstanding, flavorful, fresh! There was an hour wait for our table but the time went by quickly. Excellent selection and highly recommended!!

I had a wonderful dining experience with my coworkers last night. Service was attentive, drinks were potent and flavorful, food was served hot and well prepared and presented. Space was welcoming, warmly lit, and reminiscent of dining in New Orleans.I had the fried calamari and grouper with lump crab and shrimp. Entree portions were generous, seasoned and cooked perfectly, and simply delicious. This place is a must if you enjoy seafood in the Marietta area.

This experience was absolutely fantastic I give four stars only because parking lot is not handicapped friendly! 1st they have several parking spots however at the end of the path you run into stairs and you have to continueto go around to reach the ramp, in the path to the ramp is narrow using a walker or wheel chair its exhausting the ramp should be at the end of the path now to good part The host was friendly walking through the doors to walking , The staff work as team bringing the food , No long wait for the food my waitress Teyona (like the princess) was kind funny and tend to every need quickly ask for her definitely 3 Lets talk about the crab cake amazing in lobster Almost forgot i was in the south shrimp and grits Well after eating i want to hire him to my pirvate chef.....

Everyone loves Pappadeaux, but I just don’t understand why?!?! I’ve tried this location multiple times and my experience is always just okay. Usually it’s crowded, takes food forever, with bland overpriced drinks, This time I went to lunch with coworkers and there were no crowds but my experience was the same. The patio was closed due to staff shortage, so we couldn’t dine outside. We were seated near the window with a nice view. The server took a while to get our drink orders, then disappeared. Another server came and took our food order. Meanwhile I received my drink, which was meh, bland watered down. Food came out in a reasonable time. My salad and baked potato were huge portions but lacked any flavor or seasoning whatsoever! Twenty minute wait to pay and get our receipts.

Dinner was delicious, everyone enjoyed their food. We had 7 diners. Our server was good, all orders came correct but it was clear he was working a lot of tables. We loved the setting and the portions were generous enough that we took leftovers home. Nice to have another taste of the delicious food!

Friendly and hardworking staff. We went an hour before closing and the place was packed. They were accommodating and made sure we were taken care of. We were not rushed and the food was fresh and hot.
