Excellent 1st time visit! Great energy at Love Song! Warm greeting & great service! Menu explained with emphasis on favorites. Started with the Fritter + cured anchovy, paprika aioli, also the Scallop Soup.. both delicious 😋. Entrees included Duck Breast + carolina gold rice, confit, sauce au poivre AND the Beef Short Rib!! WOW, so many good flavors! Can't wait to return to try more on the menu!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Favorite place, hands down! Cute small plates restaurant with locally sourced products. Great natural wine selection and refreshing cocktails. Every little detail about this place is an experience that I believe everyone needs to try!

Came for dinner and caught the tail end of happy hour (just before 7pm on a Sunday). I happily ordered a $7 glass of wine while deciding on my meal. I decided on the scallop chowder and the mushroom tartine per the suggestion of two different staff members. The scallop chowder was fantastic. Full of scallops! The tartine was nice but it was a lot for one person after also having the soup. Definitely want to come back with more people to try more items.

Always wonderful service and helpful staff. Everyone seems to love working there. The best duck dish I've ever had. The fried flounder was delicious as well.

The best experience I have had out to eat in a long time. Delicious food, delicious wine, great customer service and overall an amazing, welcoming vibe. Love the decor and care that went into creating this eclectic space. There is nothing like it in VB! I will be coming back (too often) to try everything on the menu! Bravo Lovesong, ya nailed it.

Such a delicious new addition to the blossoming food scene in Virginia Beach. We loved our first visit so much we went back two more times in the same week. Great vibes, awesome small plates/wine selection, and friendly service. Don't miss the duck, gnudu, or deserts! Overall, I highly recommend!

It’s been an extremely long time since I visited a restaurant that knocked me off my feet. Love Song is innovative and trail blazing with their unique menu options and overall flare. We ordered the Fritters, Littleneck clams, Gnudi, and both the olive oil cake and roasted peaches with vanilla custard. Plates are shareable which gives the dining experience a comforting and familial dynamic. Visit this gem with an open mind because the menu changes often, that’s part of the charm! They focus on local ingredients which influences the ever changing menu options. The complex flavor profiles, presentation, high quality ingredients, and charming atmosphere made it well worth the visit. Highly recommend!!!

Everything about this place is fabulous. The service is attentive & very good, the food is phenomenal. I have 0 complaints, everything we ordered was mouth watering. Also love their cocktail selection and even their non-alcoholic selection, love the creativity!

An absolute experience from the moment we walked through the door. We ordered drinks & several dishes that were all impeccable. As well as the service. The cherry on top was the open kitchen - being able to witness the heart of it all set the atmosphere. Looking forward to our next visit!

I was so excited to try this place! I went for my birthday and it did not disappoint! Everything was amazing: service, decor, music, and (the real star) the food! Staff was very friendly and helpful with food and drink selections. We wanted to try everything on the menu but ultimately decided to go with the oysters, olives, cheese, clams, gnudi, duck, and NY strip. Everything was cooked perfectly to our liking and so flavorful! The combination of flavors and textures were spot on for every dish and everything was so so fresh! I highly recommend this spot and can’t wait to go back! (Still having dreams about those oysters!)

Had a great time here with my group. Food, drinks, service, all great. Music on point too! Wasn't hard to get a table on a Saturday night which is rare for a place this nice. Get in now before they get so popular that this is no longer the case!

Excellent little restaurant! Small but high-quality menu - chorizo and cheese plates very nice, fantastic panzanella, fun and strong cocktails, savory and perfectly-prepared duck, and delicious desserts - poached peaches outstanding, and olive oil cake an absolute must-try! Fast and attentive service - extra credit for running after us with our box of leftovers we left at the table!

Very enjoyable experience. Only dropped in for snacks but will definitely be back. Gnudi was perfect, and we loved the chorizo small plate.
