Inside Cashier was curtious. Even the management team was helpful. Drive 🚗 thru cashier has a hard tyme hearing orders when ✈️ are crossing by, not sure how to resolve that, but she was patient and asked me to pull around to hear the order clearly. My sandwich 🥪 was yummy. I could have used lil more lettuce. Definitely enjoyed blue Slushie. 💙

Without a doubt during the summer season this McDonald's being located just off of the exit of 64 and 264 in Virginia Beach and on birdneck road is one of the busiest We've encountered in sometime. Stopped by this morning at around 9:45 to grab a quick breakfast before heading out on our daily trek. the drive-through was wrapped around the building and the inside was as equally busy. But guess what, the overworked and underpaid staff we're doing a great job. Even as busy as this place was, the inside seemed clean enough and the staff were friendly and tried to be as helpful as they could to various customers complaining that they didn't get their order correct. One thing we have to remember McDonald's is not what it used to be, at 1 point in time it was basically just for teenagers to work at while going to school or maybe a part time job for someone. But now it seems that you see more and more full timers from the labor market. I applaud the people that work in fast food especially at a place as busy as McDonald's, Of course I think prices should be increased slightly so they can afford to pay their workers A better wage especially in an environment as tough as a McDonald's is

Ordered there through DoorDash two days in a row. Today, June 1st and yesterday. Both were breakfast, as I cannot leave work since it’s just me. Ordered chicken biscuits both times. Yesterday the chicken Pattie’s themselves were black, inedible. And yesterday they left out one hash brown and my soda was watered down from the ice melting. (Delivery was fast so I’m sure the driver received it that way). I could smell the burnt(ness) as soon as the driver came in my job. I figured it was just bad luck and ordered again today. Same burnt food and I called the DoorDash driver to ask which location he had picked up from and it was this one. I told him why I asked and he said he actually thought it smelled burnt in the car on the way to me. So unacceptable. Hash brown was the only thing edible. But the coffee was ok!

The burger was burned. Then I went outside and was completely grossed out seeing a huge dead rat in the drive-thru lane. I won't be returning there. Be smart and go elsewhere.

This is my go to location. I typically order through the app and pick up going through the drive thru. My only suggestion is to have people with some hospitality experience. I don't know how many times I say hello or thank you and get nothing back. Sometimes it's just a person handing me food and not saying anything.

They didn't bring us our food instead they bagged it up and called out numbers although we ordered in. They were in the back playing and one of the young ladies was standing in the door entrance on her phone with a customers food. I ordered a grape Fanta and they only have orange and they didn't try to correct it or even tell me that although it's on their menu they don't serve it. The dining area smelled like an old wet mop and wasn't clean. No one was at the counter to greet or assist customers. This was a mess. Tip: If you have time to lean you have time to clean. GET IT TOGETHER

We placed our order at 1:40 pm and at 2:30 pm still didn’t have our food. This was similar for other families who had waited over 40 minutes for their food. We never did get our food and when asked about it, simply were told “sorry”. The manager also said a unconvincing “sorry “, with no offer of rectifying the mistake. She did refund the purchase and we departed for another dining option (Wendy’s) where we were served in 5 minutes. We’ve never before had an experience like this. Had we been in a car we would have been served within minutes of ordering (we watched that line progress). This location seemed to be an anomaly, but should be held accountable for their lack of concern for this situation.

There’s a lot of bad reviews for this Birdneck Road McDonald’s. I’m here to add a positive one. My experience was great! The Big Mac was great! I liked the Grimace stuff they gave me. Fries were hot and very fresh. Service..bar none. The guy taking my order was extremely friendly and told me to come back soon..A manager told me about some things McDonald’s is coming up with and testing. The manager was one of the friendliest people I’ve ever encountered in my life. I really enjoyed my visit to this Virginia Beach McDonald’s!

It's McDonalds so... The bar starts pretty low. Ordered through the in-store kiosk, chose dine-in, it asked me to take a table tent and enter the number. I paid and it told me to sit down and it would be delivered. 10 minutes later they are calling every order at the front. They apparently don't do table orders, so they need to disable that option in the app and update their receipts. Otherwise it's fairly clean for a McDonalds, and they have a couple of tables with games on them to keep kids occupied.

today i went into mcdonalds and didnt realize my crazy psyco ex stil works there, he saw me and tried to make a move but i rejected, and i am pretty sure he nutted in my mcchicken with big mac sauce, i think this because hes done before when we were first exploring eachother. aaron please stop before i call the cops again to say you violeted the restrainging order again. i will be in touch with your parol officaer
