This was one of the top rated restaurants near our hotel so we decided to eat here. It's very unassuming from the outside as well as the seating inside. However, the staff were very accommodating and the food was superb! The pizza was good (nothing special), the garlic knots were outstanding, but the chicken parm stole the show. The portion was big and the chicken was seasoned extremely well. Definitely recommend checking this place out.

Amazing calzones. We tried the veggie and the supreme. Both were awesome. They weren't dry, had a lot of flavor and came with marinara. We ended up eating here twice in one weekend. We also tried the Greek salad which was really good.

I will start off by saying the staff is very friendly! Really some of the best customer service I have experienced in the area. With that said, the pizza is mediocre at best. Not the best around and certainly nothing like pizza in New York so I am not sure why people are saying that in their reviews. I may come back to try something else though.

Very delicious food, we were a group of 15 and we all loved it. The food is Halal, I ordered veggie pizza and Stromboli. Both were awesome.

Service was great upon arrival. The front assistant Mike was very Friendly and kind to me and my friends. Please please please come here the pizza is awesome alongside with garlic knots all ready made to order fresh!!. I very much appreciated his service. The food is amazingly great! The pizza here has a unique flavored sauce and I loved it! The owner was very nice and didn’t rush us out even tho it was late. I highly recommend.

Absolutely YUM! My husband claims I'm very particular about my stromboli, and he's not entirely wrong. I grew up with amazing stromboli from a family owned restaurant nearby, so I have no time for bad stromboli. It's a favorite of mine that I don't get often, so I was excited to see La Vera when we parked. I was not disappointed! The dough is that perfect combination of crispy and chewy, the cheese was melty and stringy, the pepperoni was larger and just a touch spicy. Perfection! The marinara was lovely, tasted freshly made. The staff were friendly and brought everything to our table. Absolutely would return here, very good value for the money we spent.

We searched for a lots of halal places to eat at and this was one of the closest spots on beach. The pizza was really good. A little pricey but because of the location it makes sense. We got a cheese pizza, cheese Stromboli, and we also ordered a buffalo chicken pizza slice because the chicken is halal here. Pizzas were delicious as well as the Stromboli. I really liked the sauce. Recommend for New York style pizza.

This is my favorite local pizza spot! I live nearby and love grabbing their crispy slices. Options for slices are cheese, pepperoni, sausage, supreme, meat lovers, Hawaiian, veggie, and BBQ chicken. And the cool part about this place, is if you want to customize the slice you can because they make it fresh instead of being limited to what’s already been made and sitting out. Pictures is a veggie pizza with pineapple. Five stars all year long!

It was OK. Price is not too expensive and not cheap. One slice of cheese pizza costs $3.90 and any other kind $5 per slice. The taste is ok. I would consider other restaurants before I cone back. I got small Hawaiian Stromboli $10.99 it was too doughyee.

I had the New Yorker pizza. Crust was thin, and tasted great. I'm usually not a fan of pepperoni and italian sausage but the combination on this pizza with the ricotta and mozzarella was on point. I would go back to try other items. Friendly folks.

This place deserves 5 stars for the absolute best pizzas and salads. We shared an awesome Greek salad, which was loaded with feta, tomatoes, and onions with a zesty, flavorful dressing. Our friend got the antipasto salad that was overloaded with ham, pepperoni, pepperoncini, and olives that he raved about. The large Supreme pizza was perfection in every bite. The crust was crisp and tasted more like authentic new York pizzas. The owner was there and he made the pizza and served us as he noted it was the off-season, and we were thrilled at how delicious the food was. The place was not fancy, but it feels like a true NYC pizzeria. We all highly recommend this place.

Great little pizza shop, half a block from the beach. Friendly owner and workers and delicious food. Great New York style pizza and awesome garlic knots, and they had a few different beverages to choose from in the cooler. Prices are quite reasonable for being so close to the beach. The inside of the restaurant wasn't the best, but it was clean and air conditioned. We got our food to go, but waited inside for it to be ready.

Best pizza we ever had. Crispy and fresh from the oven. Must to have your Virginia Beach bucket list. Top of that they serve halal chicken pizza. We all have a fantastic experience.

Tried their BBQ chicken pizza and veggie pizza. Great taste and fresh. Reasonable prices compare to other places considering the location of main beach boardwalk. One of the few places where you can find Halal chicken so that's a plus.
