Don't go to this park if you are from out of town. The park is only accessible by the wealthy residents living in the area on foot. The gate to the beach is closed to the public, so outsiders can't drive to the park and there is no street parking in the nearby neighborhood.

Drove for an hour to get here late afternoon on Mon July 9, 2018, only to find the metal gate closed & locked, no signs even indicating it was a Park, no hours of operation, nothing. No way to find out. Don't waste your time!

I had an amazing time at this beach! The picturesque sandy shores, clear turquoise waters, and stunning vistas created a truly unforgettable experience. The beach facilities were top-notch, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Perfect for relaxation or thrilling water activities. Highly recommend for an unforgettable coastal getaway!

My daughter had a blast playing. I enjoyed myself too. Its nice being at the park on a beach. We are enjoying it as much as possible before it gets too cold.

Parking is 7$ credit only !!! Surf school here, but nothing to eat or drink !!! Bring your food and water ! There are dressing rooms, bathroom and showers 🚿

Great beach find. Never been to this public beach before and glad we found it. $7 parking all day for non resident. Not sure if same or free for residents of Virginia Beach. Sand was really nice. From the parking lot you have to go to the left once you hit the beach and go through the gates to get to the swimming area. The section right off the parking lot is for surfing only.

Absolutely loved this park!! Inexpensive, on the ocean away from all the hustle and bustle of the boardwalk. Nice clean bathrooms and shower. Will definitely be coming back.

Great beach to go to. They have a public access changing area and restroom right next to the parking lot (paid entry but not expensive). And the waves are very nice, with a separate surfing area.

residential stretch of the beach, so it's lined with beach houses instead of hotels and restaurants. excellent for swimming, running and walking since there's not a lot people. mostly middle aged couples with dogs, some with kids. it's also a low key surf spot-nice for relaxing on your board --great spot for beginners since the waves are small.

Absolutely incredible experience. We saw dolphins in the morning in late August. Parking is only $7 (as of August 2023). There's a really nice surfing area for surfers and a nice beach area for everyone else. Waves are great; I was able to body surf and body board the entire day.

Life guard on duty. Not super crowded when we went. Shower off spots and actual clean restrooms. It was really nice

Nice beach is more for surfers than swimmers tho. Didn’t know we could bring our dog would’ve def done that. But you have to walk way too far to get a spot where swimming is allowed. I do wish one of these reviews would’ve said that. If you are gonna surf this is your beach dope waves very clear water not turquoise tho idk who ever thought that was turquoise is not. Overall ok Beach but will not be visiting again.
