Beautiful and huge museum in Sea harrier air craft. It's a must-visit museum at Vizag. All the part of the sea harrier aircraft has been displayed and very well explained. Parking facilities are available but limited.

Such a detailed view of each and every part of a Harrier. The engine parts were very minute to display. Good for someone who aspires to know these things.

You can get combined tickets for all three museums i.e sea harrier, TU and submarine museum and all three lie within walking distance. However if you are short of time i will suggest you give it a miss and visit other two.

A must visit palce for all age groups. Particularly with the school going kids as they'll understand how great our heros are. The museum offers a best insight of how the Indian Naval Aviation had emerged all these years. Also it offers the best insights to various generations of the Aircraft engines. Rolls-Royce Pegasus engine and the Lakshya PTA are the best 👌👌.

The Sea Harrier Museum is a component of the Integrated Museum and Tourism Complex project of the VMRDA. This will be an additional attraction for tourists on Beach Road, after INS Kursura Submarine Museum and TU-142 Aircraft Museum. In 1983, Indian Navy acquired 30 British-made Sea Harriers jump jets and stationed those at the INS Viraat. The Sea Harriers were decommissioned along the INS Viraat in 2017

New Open !!! This place is newly opened and have the story of some fighter aircrafts. How Sea Harrier born and different parts of it. Nearby the submarine museum. They sell a combined ticket of ₹140 each for all the 3 places i.e. Submarine museum, TU 142 museum and Sea Harrier museum. So you can visit all these 3 places by walk only. You can buy separate tickets as well at each place. There is no rush as it's new and people generally don't go for it. Fully air-conditioned and very quiet. The simulator room is closed now for some reason so wasn't able to experience that otherwise it's a good place.

One of the good museum in this area... Price is 70 for adult and 40 for child.... One time visit place... You will definitely experience a new thing specifically children will learn new things.... I think price is little high... It should be 40 or 50 for adults... Near this some other museum are also here, so you will enjoy the time this place... Just opposite of INS Kursura Submarine Museum and Tu 142 aircraft museu

It is a very beautiful place to see. It is a museum which consists of different parts of the Sea Harrier Aircraft. It also displays the mechanism of the aircraft and also many other airfacts which many of the people does not know. The ticket is mediumly ranged. For adults it is 70 Rs and for Child(Below 10 years of age) it is 40 Rs. The Sea Harrier Museum is a component of the Integrated Museum and Tourism Complex project of the VMRDA. Pro tip - Just get the three-in-one ticket for Sea Harrier, Submarine & the aircraft museum. It costs less & you don't have to line up thrice to get the tickets. Although there usually isn't much of a line, unless it's a public holiday or a long weekend. Okay, now about the Sea Harrier Museum - definitely a cool place to check out if you are an aviation enthusiast! There are lots of info boards to explain everything. The sea Harrier is a fighter plane which was decommissioned by the Indian Navy in 2017 and the retired aircraft now hangs in this museum.

Best visiting place for tourists and local visitors to gain good education knowledge. It is the part of Indian Navy which you see different types (unlimited) types of machines used in air crafts. Most unique experience you can get as educational point of view. Located near to the ramakrishna beach. This museum is very clean and well maintained and you can get friendly environment here to get the information. Good display of machines information and history of machines used in aircrafts Reasonable ticket price ranges 100-200rs Extra price for camera.

The Sea Harrier Museum was the most informative and descriptive museum I have even gone to. If you are visiting on a weekday then I suggest you go 15-20 mins after the opening time. Most of the important instruments if the Sea Harrier airplane were taken out after the retirement of the planes and kept in the museum. Overall very nice and well maintained.

This fighter jet was decommissioned by Indian Navy in 2016 and brought to Visakhapatnam from Goa. Entry ticket rate for Adult : ₹70/- Child: ₹40/- Visited on Weekend Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No Such a detailed view of each and every part of a Harrier. The engine parts were very minute to display. Good for someone who aspires to know these things. Power of the Indian Navy.. Well designed museum. All about the Aircraft. Must visit once. Proud to be Indian. I visited on weekend but there is no rush because there is no such thing which can attract more tourist only parts of aircraft are exhibited which is out of knowledge for general public. The museum has a sea Harrier, a fighter plane decommissioned by the Indian Navy. Good place to learn Naval aviation history. Buy all three museum (sea harrier, aircraft, Submarine) tickets combo here at cheaper rate, these three are nearby within walking distance. Old Indian navy aircraft has been displayed in excellent manner.. parts of aircraft are spread across the Museum and give idea about the old technology which enabled this fighter aircraft to hover like helicopter.. nice place to visit.. visit other closeby aircraft and submarine museums also on same day and buy integrated ticket to save money on tickets... Sea Harrier fighter jet was brought to Vizag from Goa by the officials of Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority (VMRDA). Now a tourist attraction by turning it into a museum. Best 1983, 2016 service for Indian Air force good looking children see best place explained air jets future s running on. Superb experience for me and my children If you want to see Tu 142 aircraft and sea harrier museum first go to sea harrier museum and book tickets for both museums at a time otherwise you lose 40 rs for each person Price for each museum is 70rs for adult 40rs for child age between 4 to 10 But if you take a ticket for both museums at a time the ticket price for adult is 100 and child is 60rs. Not worth as much as Submarine and aircraft museum. Only exhibition of the harrier parts. The sea harrier is hung on the top of the build. At least it would have been of the ground. In that case, people could take better pictures. The infrastructure of the building is good. As of now simulator is not yet open for the public. May be it can be a game changer. ₹70 for this museum is not worth. Better buy the combo which covers the entry of all three museums. Love the museum. Has great potential. Needs the support of the citizens and has scope to improve. Was disappointed by the lack of artifacts and stories. Felt that it was too technical and they got a lot of parts on display by breaking down a single aircraft. I cannot wait for them to start the don't simulator. One of the best museum in Vizag Must see This museum is very good A lot of knowledge can be gained College and school students get a lot of knowledge from this museum This museum is very interesting for everyone If you go to this museum, you can learn a lot of unknown things. Best experience, places like this will sharp and build the future minds. 🇮🇳

Timings : week days opens at 2 pm On weekend open around 10 am to 12:30 and again from 2pm onwards. There will be combo tickets available for all the three museums to visit like a (submarine, aircraft and sea Harrier ) costs around 140/- to visit all those three. If we go individually we need to pay each 70/- rupees for adults. The Sea Harrier Museum in Vizag offers an immersive experience into naval aviation history. The well-curated exhibits showcase the iconic Sea Harrier aircraft, providing insight into its role in maritime operations. The museum's informative displays and engaging multimedia presentations make it a must-visit for aviation enthusiasts and those interested in the Indian Navy's prowess. However, it's advisable to check for any updates on exhibits or events, as the museum may evolve over time. Overall, a fascinating destination for a blend of history and aviation exploration.

It was good. It needs improvement to draw the crowd. There should be some demonstration models that explains each of the parts. The illustration should be in all three languages so that public would not just walk in and walk out. There was no rush or queue to buy the ticket.

Good historical nostalgic place about SEA HARRIER fighter jet. Would be great if there was a narrator or guide to brief and make it more interesting. As such its all just pics and some machinery and one SEA HARRIER hanging on top
