The major attraction of Kailasagiri is the 40feet tall statue of Lord ,"shiva and parvathi". Kailasagiri derives it's name from this statue. You can come anytime and enjoy, no tickets charges

One the best places of visakhapatnam to visit. You can come here any time as it does not require tickets and all. Best park. The place is so photogenic the view of vizag is so beautiful from here. One from vizag must come and visit here. You can take bus or you can come from ropeway which does not charge very high.

Almost thirty foot tall white marble statue of Shiva and Parvati decorated with trees and flower plants at the surrounding area is the main attraction here at VMRDA Kailasagiri park. During the peak hour of the day the surrounding area remains heavily crowded with tourists who love to take pictures and selfies with the statue.

It's an eye-catching place in the kailashgiri. Somehow this place is always crowded mainly in holidays. Rush is very much here. Although it have parking space available. It is one among of the nicest place in Visakhapatnam to visit and hangout with family and friends. This place is good for couples also. Public toilets are not available and if available they are non operational.

A good place for a day trip. The Lord Shiva statue looks totally mesmerising. A pure white statute reflects a positive energy. Either take bus or cable car to reach the top. Or take your personal vehicle. There is a lot of parking place available. Few eating joints are there for snacks, tea and coffee. The view of the city and beach is fantastic. Take the toy train ride, and enjoy the surrounding.

A totally mesmerizing view from the top of the mountain. This historical statue is situated at a top place of the city. Before you start your trip to all of the other places of Vizag, you should first visit here and grab the chance to enjoy the scenic beauty of land of the Vizag meeting with Bay Of Bengal. You will see the statue of Lord Shiva and Maa Parvati made up of White Clay. And for entertaining you will also get a tiny park, a amusement park and ropeway. You can reach here by bus, personal vehicle or by ropeway. A big parking lot is available. The name of the mountain is named after Bhagwan Shiv jii- Kailashagiri. I must say morning and evening both are the best time to come here. You can also enjoy the spectacular sunrise here.

Drove to Kailasagiri by car. They charge Rs 50 for car entry. Nice place to spend some time. 15 - 20 mins train ride AC and Non AC is available for adults (Rs 100) and kids (Rs 80). Horse riding is available for Rs 100. Its very small round they give. Lots of food options as well.

Nice place for tourists, lord Shiva statue at kailash Giri park. Kailash Giri Park is built on the mountain of Visakhapatnam, this is 5 km away from the city. it is well developed inside the park. here the idol of Shiva and Parvati is sitting. Toy trains also run from here, sitting in which you can see the beach view of the whole city and sea. Ropeway facilities are available to climb the mountain. If anyone is in Visakhapatnam then must visit here!

Probably the most visited spot in Vishakhapatnam - Kailasagiri. One can reach this spot by bus, cab, walk or the best way, by cable car It is always crowded in the evenings even on weekdays, and on weekends - क्या कहना!!? The facilities are generally quite good, but there are limited washrooms to handle the rush, and something has to be done about it As tourists we still have a lot to learn, one can still find the place littered with plastic bottles, sachets etc, in spite of the area being, I believe, a NO PLASTIC zone. The staff perform a valiant job of trying to keep the place clean

Beautiful statue of Lord Shiva and parvati inside Kailashgiri mountain park. The statue is made of plaster and paris. There are several eatries around it. This is one of the main tourist attraction of Vishakhapatnam. Many people came here just to take selfies and pictures with Lord Shiva and Parvati.

On average, around three hundred thousand Indian and foreign tourists visit the park every year. To protect the environment, VMRDA has declared the hill a plastic-free zone. A cable car connects to the top of the hill, the first of its kind in Andhra Pradesh
