    A good museum, a great place for all kind of information about the local geology, with several expositions, it's not a big place but is well used.

    A very interesting museum with a large interactive area. Most information was only in Portuguese but an English leaflet was available. Enter from the north as a much better road! Ring door bell to gain access.

    A very nice and full of information museum. Many samples and a lot of things to learn. Highly recommended, it's a two hours tour that flies like two minutes.

    You will be surprised to find that quartz is present in almost everything in our modern life, from a toothpaste tube to smartphone's. Learned a lot, it's free entrance.

🫤 I had read up on viriato and was keen to see the monument. I was sadly disappointed: not only does it look like a very poor excuse of a homage, but it had been vandalised and his sword was broken. It just looks sad.
