Good ambiance But I mostly like about this place is the ambiance. Try to visit in evening they will be having live music. This places really close to the beach so while having your food and with the Ambience you will be able to feel the breeze from the beach. They provide candle light dinner as well. The life music is something which I really enjoyed. You get multiple options if you are a non veg and seafood lover.

A pleasant place to have lunch or dinner. First we went for dinner, we enjoyed the chill breeze of sea while having chilli mushroom, and crispy corn, the waves sound in the background adds extra pleasure. The food was delicious. Without doubt. Then we decided to visit for lunch, they only serve lunch on Sunday’s. We have reserved a table and this time enjoyed a nonveg platter with a view this time. It is simply an experience that I would definitely recommend. Staff was polite and well behaved. Though we could feel their job is easy specially to carry food from kitchen which is far from shack but they do not display any frustration.

The name of hotel should be the Shock. I ordered biryani and they served to me the Pulav with slaty taste from sea water, apart from seating arrangements and sea breeze nothing there do not waste your time and money.

I've been here twice this month. Once with family and once with friends. A wonderful beachside restaurant and bar with a stunning view of the sea. There is live music by girls, which is good. The food and the drinks available are ok and very costly.

Nice environment, open air restaurant. U can take enjoyment the sea view and it’s wave sound. Good but I am giving 3 star only because their food over price. It’s too high. We 2 persons took three butter nun, one butter chicken, one lime soda and one vanilla ice cream. They charged Rs: 2616. My God. In this price segment just go to Ming Garden.

Waiters are mostly for foreigners... They hardly bother to take your order... Pathetic service... Plus very expensive.... Don't expect you will get special seafood or lobsters.... Only lobster tail was available not the whole one... As you can see waiters are ignoring that we are being seated since 15 minutes and also called bt ignored it like anything... There were no garlic in garlic prawns that we ordered...

This place is like the Vizag version of Baga beach! Perfect lights, the sand, music, wind and the peace. I should say this place gave me so much satisfaction. Would totally recommend this place to anyone looking for “the shack” experience. Special shout-out to the live music! I hope their services resume soon.

If there are 6 stars I would have given it. What a great location. Pleasant environment with great view of beach. Fresh air , chilled beer , hot and spicy chicken. What can you ask more 😀 in life. On the negative side the food and drinks are expensive. But for relaxing once in a while it's ok. Good place to relax with friends or wife.

Went here for our New Year lunch and it was the worst way to begin the year. I had horrible experience with the service and this literally ruined my new year. Firstly there were around 50 people dining and there was 2 staff to take the orders and 1 person to serve. Nobody To take your order or bring your water or serve you food. Our entrees took 40 minutes to come and main course took 75 minutes. Tell me, is there anything more frustrating than unreasonably slow service? Then the waitress literally asked me to serve my own food because they are low on staff and when I was disappointed at the service she brought in the watchman from the gate to serve us food. Our entire party was shocked. Only vegetarian food on the menu was Paneer . Give credit where its due due - the taste of the food was good. Maybe it was because we were too hungry by the time it reached, i don’t know. Then we asked for the egg curry and we got uncooked egg. Upon calling the chef he said half boil egg!!!!! Isnt that something any chef with half a brain should consult the customers for? All in all horrible experience, the staff couldn’t care less about the feedback. TLDR: If you are like me where bad service and response ruins your meal, please don’t go here not even if its the only restaurant in the city.

An avg place..food was below average... service was very poor...orders were coming late by 30-40mins which is very high considering the 5star rating of the hotel...view of the beach was good...only local beers were available which was not acceptable at such higher rates ..

Ambience of this place is awesome with good food. Though making reservations are bit hectic for the outsiders, because you need to call for book a table. Overall, a very good restaurant for romantic hang out.

Went there for a friendly dinner and The Park is a class apart. The service, the attentiveness of the staff everything was par excellence. Opulent and beautifully done interiors makes one feel like loyalty. The restaurant with their cabanas & water feature creates the perfect ambiance to unwind in between the couple dinning

Out of the three stars, 2.5/3 for the ambience and 0.5/3 for the food. The falafel was great, but the veg hakka noodles were not great. Had to add pepper to eat. The ambience was awesome. The staff were helpful, and there was live music. Please go to this place ONLY for the ambience. NOT THE FOOD!!

It was a very mixed experience. They even don't have a fan forget AC. We all started sweating profusely. Though it is right at the beach it is to be strictly avoided in summers and monsoons. But the best part was food. I would rate the quality very good but extremely overpriced. 3 small pieces of Kalmi Kabab has cost me 750₹!! Are you kidding me ? So despite excellent food we feel a bit cheated and hence the poor rating.

Unfortunately this shack is not operational. I spent 600 on my cab fare to and fro for nothing. Before going, I had tried getting in touch with the management to find out the timings but the number was not functioning. They have this listed on Zomato as well. The least they could do is delist it and close it on the maps V poor upkeep from The Park

I am a solo traveller and I travel to many places. I had visited the shack by the Park in Vizag and had an amazing amazing experience. The food , the location, the ambiance, the mood , just about everything was perfect. Being a solo traveller I must say I was well taken care of . I would like to mention the name of Mr Bijay here… who was taking care of all the customers very patiently. Thank you Bijay for being my host for the evening. God bless.

Had a great dinner at the Shack. Food and ambience was just awesome!! I was hosting a family dinner for 15 of us and the dinner was well planned by Mr. Anil, who is the manager over there. Definetly a must visit place in Vizag!!

Its not like a shack but it's like a restaurant with only seat out option. Food was also not so great. This restaurant is in The Park hotel which is mostly for weddings so the food here is also like an average wedding.

slow service, hit or miss food, took 2.5 hours to serve us. The ambience is decent and the music is enjoyable most of the times but also annoying some of the times. The vegetarian food options were worse and took longer to arrive. Nothing to say of the massively expensive pricing. Go here if you want to impress your dinner party members with a meal near the ocean otherwise don't bother.

Staff was very friendly, great evening we have spent in the shack restaurant and we enjoyed the live music, but the food we ordered it was coming late but we enjoyed.

We went there to celebrate my birthday and we received good service from them. We had a great time with the live music and the beautiful serene ambience. Our server Ramana helped us in having a good time as well :) Thanks to him I had a great birthday party!!

It's a beautiful location just on the edge of the beach. A lovely place to spend out evening or night, people love to hangout here in the lovely weather with their drinks and snacks. Earlier it was open and anyone could have directly gone to the beach but for security reasons they had put a fence ahead now. They have given a gate, if someone still wants to go out and enjoy it.

While the property itself is beautiful, we didn't stay here. We went here for the dinner and they did not disappoint us. The dine in experience was top of the line and had abundant options. We tried a little bit of everything from Pasta to Chinese to Indian including sweets and nothing on the.menue disappointed us..

We went their for birthday celebration.Everything was so perfect. We were given a table outside, with our table decorated & cake. The setting under sky in the moonlight made our evening The service, the food, the staff everything was perfect & to top it an extra 20% discount on the bill. The restaurant manager and his team member was very cooperative & humble. A definite visit.

Very materialistic place, waiter gives you attention basis your financial outlook, specially the head of ground services. Have been staying at the resort for 3 years at a row now.. have always been satisfied with the stay but ritually been given the same service by shack head ground service (comparatively juniors are much more well mannered) ! However food is great!

The ambience is great. I went on a great weather. I ordered fried fish, fish curry and rice which I will rate 4/5 as per the taste. Also, great service by Sayani. She was always there when needed something.

When we asked the lady about the misplaced order, she answered it as if we shud get compromised with whatever they had served... Such rude behaviour we didnt expect... Been here from 9:30 pm.and now it's 11:40. Very bad service 😔 The service guys do not bother to respond to their customers and the place do nto seem be be crowded for the orders to be delayed this much. Such a disappoint for being here

Excellent sea food and great location by the beach

I give this place two stars only for the location and because the staff is very polite. Apart from those two things, the nicest thing on our table was the water. The prawns butter garlic were flavourless over cooked and rubbery and were served with 6 pieces of bland steamed veggies. The menu explains the gin cocktail as gin with cucumber, thyme, basil etc. What is actually is, is gin & tonic with finely chopped cucumber and dry pizza seasoning. #facepalm the whole point of botanicals in gin is so they can infuse some flavour. Dried herbs don't really impart flavour unless heated. We decided not to order anything else. Would not recommend this place for food or cocktails.
