The worst food that I ever had in my life. The service is very bad. Chicken biryani is the worst there is no masala it's just the food colouring and the chicken is watery like it's about to go bad and we also ordered chicken lolipop and they gave us sauce packet and they told us this is what we give and please don't ever go to this restaurant

Very spacious and popular restaurant in Vizag towards RK beach. In weekends you have to wait minimum 15-20mins to get your table. Food was too good but prices are little bit higher sides. The quantity of food was okiesh! They have their different style of making the Biryani which attracts people to visit them. Staff was very well trained and courteous. Overall a nice experience. Very basic restaurant. Food was OK. Non veg was good but I ordered for egg biryani and I basically got white rice with 2 eggs. Considering the current situation no covid precautions were taken. Service was very slow as there was just one attendant. Definitely not what I expected the place to be and would not recommend if you're looking for fine dining.

We went to Kamat in Siripiram. This branch is bit small but good atmosphere 👍. Not many options in menu. We ordered chicken joint fry ,it's bit spicy and Apollo fish which is good and soft and then mutton dum biryani,it's yummy. No dessert options available. Nice ambience. Fast service 👍must go.

One of the biggest restaurant chain in india famous for it's non vegetarian dishes especially Chicken Biriyanis. It's Very piece chicken Biriyanis is excellent. This restaurant is one of it's many branches in Visakhapatnam is situated in Lawson Bay Colony. One should try it's Chicken Lollypop, wings and south flavors. This place is always rich and many oriole throng to this restaurant in weekends.

I ordered chilly fish. It's very bad taste and very salt only coating there is no fish and restaurant management also not proporly replied

Food taste is delicious. The take away, packing is pathetic. Today picked up dum biriyani and chicken fry from Kamat Siripuram branch. When I reached my place, was shocked to see my car seat stained with oil. Reduce the oil or ensure your take away is packed properly. Guys, be careful when you take home the curries.

The dishes like fish are very special at Kamat and it is good for take out. My friends and I wanted to have lunch outside and we chose Kamat. The food is good and price is reasonable but the sitting arrangement, seats and wash basin are not really for a restaurant like that

Good food, we reached at 3 pm so were just served with available options as chicken curry and biryani rice. But I must say what we got was worth its taste and the food is coat effective.

We went out to kamat last week or so. and The crowds were very dense. Following arriving, we must wait for a half-hour before being seated and ordering, after which we must wait for another twenty minutes. We barely found parking. The setting was orderly, and our table was covered while we were dining. The majority of the starters, biryanis, and refreshing drinks we ordered were wonderful and fresh.The overall impression was positive

Never order from here. It is a takeaway joint, so they pack all the stale leftover food from their other restaurants. Today we ordered chicken fry biryani and boneless chicken biryani thru swiggy and what we got is stale smelling chicken and rotten boiled eggs in the biryani.

Original Taste of the restaurant is lost, their recipes are bad. I ate Apollo Fish it's very worst, chef doesn't have hint of taste of the recipe. 20 year old charm is not there now.

A very busy restaurant with lots of people thronging to taste the food. Every time I visit this place it is over crowded or I have to wait for sometime till the next table is available. This made me a bit frustrated so I stopped going there, but this place has a lot to offer. The food is exceptionally delicious especially the vegetarian dishes. The food pricing is a bit heavy for normal people to make a visit. I suggest a once in a blue moon visit will do. Food, taste and ambiance are not worth mentioning but are best visited and experienced.

The parcel outlet of Kamat. Always a joy to visit this place and get the evergreen Chicken fry biryani. They have several other items in curries which includes sea food as well. I would prefer this takeaway outlet as the service is very quick and you can collect it on the go.

Since I was in a coastal city i wanted to try seafood here and google told me that Kamat is a great place for it. But, I was disappointed, the fish curry was not at all worth it, it felt like i was eating fish seved in sambhar. Now I understand that south taste pallets are very different from North Indians and they have a special place for the sour kicks in their dietry habbits, but even after accounting all that the food was simply not worth it. Now I'm only taking about the seafood which i tried here (Fish curry and rice), I can't talk about other non veg options here. Also, there was only one dish in terms of fish, which was a bit surprising, considering the fact that google took me here stating that it is good for seafood. Nonetheless I'm only taking about the fish here, dont take my word for other things that are available here. The service was very fast but the ambience was not very nice. Felt like a damp, low lit place with not much cleanliness.

Fry Birayani here tasts very good. Service is ok. Ambiance is just normal.

Have been visited this place after on recommend of my uncle and had sorra pittu(Baby shark) dish which is not regularly available here which was special cooked and served here.On request Shekar staff of kamat hotel takeaway branch near siripuram junction as arranged 3 plates,in which I took 2 plates for my uncle. The taste was ultimate who ever visit vizag need to try once will definitely like it, have it with rice for better taste will feel salty if you have it directly or with roti.

Small Kamat restaurant as compared to other Kamat restaurant. Only non veg options are available. Vegitarian should not go there.

This one evergreen for Vizag people. Trust me, this is the best pulav biryani one can find in Vizag. The never ending love for this one will always stay in Vizagites heart. . However, there is a change in the taste of biriyani over the years passed. Hopefully they will try to fix it. Kudos, Kamat.

Don't know about other curries but fish curry here is really awesome especially the gravy. They will add raw mango pieces instead of tamarind for that sour taste. Gravy plus hot white rice(cooked at home)is a perfect combination to satisfy appetite. Though it seems a bit pricey (Rs.250 for 3 pieces) definitely worth trying. Ask for as much extra gravy as possible and avoid head and tail pieces ...Bon appetit...

Ambience is not very much good, food quality is normal. They charge as high as modern new restaurants. Curd which is served is long preserved. Taste of food is ok. Better to go some other rather than this.

Every thing was fresh and hygienic. I had fried chicken biryani and I liked it. The biryani was not so spicy unlike the chicken. You'll like it if that's your preference.

The worst biriyani i ever had. Tasteless and bland. Chick3n did nit cook porperly, no spices, nothing. They name it Kamat special. Ambience is just ok. Even the starters have disappointed.

From so many years.. they delivery the Same tasted food, even if the quantity getting lesser month by month. Coz of the same taste that they maintain over the years.. wanna give them 5 star.

When talking about Kamat restaurant first thing we remember is Fish Pulusu and then Keema Biriyani. Some times i find biriyani rice broken at time of serving quiet offen but taste is good. If you are planning to go there you must go little early as many people come here and wait in lines on weekends .

Fish curry is special here. Gongura chicken is also worth trying. Curries are bit costly compared to other restaurants.

Sorry....Worst Food...Dum biryani pieces not boiled properly...not up to the mark...I m Not recommend...they bring food from Beach road restaurant......Biryani not preparing Here....

After having Biriyani from here once. I have become, addicted to it. By the way I am a Vegetarian. And only thing I normally have here is Veg Biriyani. In which they will give you a small bowl of paneer curry. 😉
