It was the main entrance of Bishnupur in the era of the Malla Dynasty. The entire structure is made of laterite soil and a special cover was upon it. ASI makes good maintenance of all heritage structures of Bishnupur. Beside this a small gate also is there which was used for checking coming vehicles in that time.

In Bishnupur, the main entrance gate to the town is known as Lalbandh, which is a prominent landmark. However, there isn't a specific Garh Darwaja associated with Bishnupur. The town is famous for its unique and intricate terracotta art, particularly seen in the Malla dynasty-era temples, such as the Rasmancha, Shyam Rai Temple, Jor-Bangla Temple, and others. If you were referring to a specific monument or structure in Bishnupur called Garh Darwaja, it might be a local name or a lesser-known historical site. Unfortunately, I don't have specific information about such a structure in Bishnupur as my training data only goes up until September 2021. It's always a good idea to consult local resources or tourist guides for accurate and up-to-date information regarding specific locations or landmarks.

Very Nice place,,,you can obviously feel the essence of old "Rajbari" Culture here,,there is a Canal before the Gate (DARWAJA) which then used to make safe the palace from outsiders Attack
