Great place stop for cake and coffee during a bike trip in the Kottenforst forest. The waffles with cherry, ice cream and cream are delicious and nearly everybody seems to order them. Expect to pay 10€+ for a coffee and a waffle.

Lovely place and staff really friendly. My only points that are negative are that it was quite outdated and the checkout/breakfast was early (especially taking into consideration we were there for an event). I would only recommend this place if you have a car as it is quite a walk from the station.

Location is beautiful and quiet. Room was spacious and breakfast ok. Do not expect overwhelming hospitality.

Very nice rooms, locality and the behaviour of the personnel was professional and helpful. The breakfast was all right. I was only irritated by the 1,5dl glasses meant for juice at breakfast. It is however an occurrence I noticed at multiple various German Motels. I guess the small volume of the glass is to psychologycally discourage from refills... Don't be so cheap and let your guests have a drink...

Fatastic food, good staff

There is no denying that this is an excellent venue. Location, service, quality of food and attention to detail is excellent. The place and surrounding is well kept and maintained. I attended a birthday, but suspect that this is a superb wedding venue. Will come back for sure.

Lovely and quaint family owned hotel. Good accommodations and nice breakfast in am. Set amidst the forest entrance it offers a secluded escape from metropolis with all its accommodations.

The food was really delicious and the staff was super friendly - we ate in the restaurant first and went to the bar after because we stayed till the restaurant closed - from the bar you can go straight to your room and have a nice breakfasts buffet waiting for you the next morning. - nice rooms (double beds in single bed rooms) and a really nice location - i enjoyed my stay a lot and had a great time!

Great place for larger celebrations, beautiful natural setting, very nice and competent staff, food was delicious.

Beautiful location, rooms are dated but very comfortable and clean. Great staff. Nice breakfast.
