Canaveral National Seashore was an amazing experience. The sunrises from the beaches here were absolutely amazing to see in person. We woke up early and watched the space launch from one of the walkouts to the beach and it was a great experience as well. The rangers organized the crowds greatly and the patrons were respectful of each other's space as we watched the launch. There are a ton of areas to view wildlife in the area as well and pelicans are flying frequently around the beach at sunrise.

We love these 7 Beach spots within the park. The beautiful surroundings and clean sand full of shells. The water is beautiful and clear. It's most definitely worthwhile to make the drive. They have bathrooms in every parking loop and a boat and kayak ramp and launch area respectively at a separate parking area with more bathroom facilities.

Beautiful park with several miles of scenic beaches, with access from the north and south (not connecting in the middle of the beach via car). Spaced out parking areas ensure stretches with fewer people; *note* the farthest parking/beach access points on north and south are clothing-optional. Both sections of park include several other short hiking areas, with native plants and ecosystems, plus lots of armadillos, and even a manatee viewing area off Kennedy Parkway! Proximity to the space center allows for potential launch viewing, plus waterways and boat launches provide access for watersports.

We are keeping visiting Parks (1-2 a month) and CNS was on our list. Had a great time taking pictures (here and there… until I saw naked people)!!! Who knew that we have a naked beach (almost private… NoT). People go out explore, enjoy and have fun 🤩

Wow. I mean Wow. If you like your parks and beaches uncrowded (even when New Smyrna Beaches ramps are closed due to beach capacity!), serene, natural, full of wildlife & fish, with access to both beach & intercoastal, clean and with facilities. As for me, that’s exactly what I was looking for on one of the hottest Sundays yet this summer. The breeze off the water kept us cool and kept the bugs away except when I waded into the water of the intercoastal to take some fabulous photos. As you can see in some of my pics, we saw an Osprey swoop into the water and nab a fish, then proudly sit on a pole and devour it. Cool 😎! Lots of trails to hike, beach to walk and, as you can see in my pics, choose your spot on the beach - it’s almost empty! Bottom line: Go, run, don’t wait to visit Canaveral National Seashore! Pay your $20 for a week worth of entry and just do it 👍🏼

As beautiful as it gets! This is the REAL Florida. Unspoiled natural coastline. This natural beach just to the North of the Kennedy Space center stretches for miles up the coastline. There are multiple parking lots to access the beach (as of today a few are not reopened after the hurricanes late last summer). It's a good idea to arrive early on a weekend or holiday when the weather is nice to ensure the park is not filled up. The last entrances to the beach from the Playalinda entry point into the south of the park lead to the clothing optional beach. With many, many visits to those areas it's exactly what you should expect, people naked and enjoying the beach. That's it. The vibe is entirely pleasant for anyone who shows up. While the majority of people are male and white that is definitely not everyone and I'm glad to say it seems that each year that shifts even more. If you've considered enjoying a clothing optional beach this is certainly a great one to choose. Two logistical notes: 1- The ONLY facilities are vault toilets located in each parking lot. 2- That means NO water is available inside the park. Plan accordingly (no glass containers) and enjoy your visit. Edit as of 5/21/23 After a very strong high tide the Playalinda parking lots past #7 and Eddy Creek are closed due to the tide washing sand over the road. As of last Sunday there was barely 1 lane cleared along the road, as of today it looks like they are very close to having the sand removed from the road in order to open it again (see the pics of the road for an example of last week vs this week).

Beautiful beach. Paid entry the America the Beautiful pass works here. The waves are big during high tide and the beaches are rather empty. Awesome place to visit. There are some hiking trails as well, more on the intercoastal side. Showers located at access #1

Incredible beach with the least amount of people I've ever seen at the beach in Florida. Definitely worth the entrance fee and worth a visit. Very clean crushed shell white sand beach with plenty of parking. There's also parking lots and boat ramps all along the Indian River side of the peninsula. Bring water, shade, and snacks. We stayed until they kicked us out haha. Only downside is there's no showers and only primitive bathrooms, no running water. The tide was all over the place and there's no lifeguards so swim at your own risk. But it makes for a great beach day of relaxing and wading. Seemed like a good place to fish too both the salt and brackish sides. No bugs on the ocean side, lots of interesting non annoying birds, tortoises, and we saw a sea turtle. Great beach.

I believe this beach is what tourists think of when they hear about Florida beaches. It was the 4th of July and it wasn't jam packed. Parking was slim at #3 but we got a spot. There is a shaded path you can walk through to the other side of the island. It was pleasant and peaceful. Lots of spiders but they are overhead and won't bother anybody. The beach area we were at was amazingly clean and tidy. We swam in the ocean some and did some body surfing. We went back to the visitors center to clean up and get our stamps for our National Parks book. We look forward to coming back!

Great park. Totally natural. Sunrises are the best here and nesting turtles love this place. If you go really early after a high tide you feel like you are the first person to ever step foot on this beach. There are 5 beach ramps and the last one is the nude beach. Don't miss the turtle mound, a shell midden created by the Indians with views if the Atlantic and Intracoastal.

Nice scenic routes that's bordered by the Atlantic on one side and the Bay on the other. Great landing points for canoes and kayaks on the Bayside, with plenty of parking spots stretched out along the drive. Six beach access points dot the Atlantic side, so you've got good choices on other side. Be warned, beach five is a nudist beach. But you can park there, and access the Klondike trail which takes you a couple miles past where the pavement ends, and is definitely a trail you'll want to travel.

Hands down best beach in west volusia co. Absolutely love going there as it rarely busy and one feels unity with nature. Awesome sea bounty never hurts either. It is also ever-changing depending on the tide, temperature, time of year. The wildlife is amazing too.

A really great spot to go relax for a day! Beautiful long secluded beaches as well as nice nature trails to drive through and explore. Even saw multiple tortoises come out for strolls on the road during a storm.

One of the best parks to enjoy a great beach day as we visited during the National Parks Day so we entered for free but it is normally $20 per day! I recommend visiting early when it opens! So much to see and definitely visit the visitor center as each park ranger offers so much information about the seashore! Bring your national park stamp book if you have one as there are at least 4 stamps in each of the visitor centers!

My favorite Florida national park so far. From the beautiful beaches to the deep mangrove trails. A little bit far but totally worth it

This was a very nice beach. We did not stay too long. A group of us went to watch a rocket take off from Kennedy Space Center. I had read you could get great views from here, but it was not all that visible. It is a beautiful place that I hope to return to though.

It's a beautiful spot on the coast of Florida. We went to the visitors center for cancellations and headed to the end of the road. On the way back, we hit a little trail that put us up over the trees, for wonder panoramic views. The part we went to was small, but well worth it. We love national parks. It cost 20 bucks for the car, but admission is good for a week.
