Visited
the
lake
around
11:30
on
a
September
Monday
and
found
it
bustling.
Managed
to
secure
a
shady
spot,
but
it
did
feel
a
bit
crowded.
Consider
upgrading
for
more
privacy
if
it's
a
concern.
The
"no
outside
food"
rule
feels
a
bit
overbearing.
Especially
considering
dietary
needs,
like
our
son's
gluten-free
diet.
I
understand
supporting
local
eateries,
but
I'd
like
the
option
to
bring
my
own
food.
Now,
for
the
unique
experience:
the
fish!
If
you
stay
still
in
the
water,
they'll
nibble
away
dead
skin.
Strange
at
first,
but
it
quickly
becomes
a
relaxing
sensation,
almost
like
a
natural
spa
treatment.
The
water
might
catch
you
off
guard
with
its
initial
coolness,
but
after
diving
in,
it's
invigorating.
The
lake
itself
is
a
sight
to
behold,
deepening
as
you
approach
the
cliffs.
Facilities
like
toilets
and
showers
are
available
and
well-maintained.
Transportation-wise,
we
took
an
Uber
from
the
U.S.
embassy
area
for
€28
our
way
there.
On
way
back
we
took
buses
to
Acropolis
area
and
then
taxi
from
Uber.
In
summary:
The
lake
is
a
hidden
gem,
facilities
are
clean
and
up-to-date.
However,
I'd
appreciate
more
flexibility
with
the
food
policy
and
increased
spacing
between
seating
for
privacy.
