Foreign food served in a pleasant, clean environment with English menu and service. I enjoyed the Serrano ham platter entrée and my colleague and I enjoyed our main dishes of tagliatelle and roast chicken. We also had a chicken salad and I was happy to see that there was plenty of chicken included. Desserts are also available, along with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Although not cheap by local standards, the price was certainly reasonable for this kind of restaurant. The restaurant is not big, so service was fast and professional, and the place was very clean. At the end of our meal, a nice touch was a shot of strong liquor of the restaurant's own recipe (tasted great) and the chef was good enough to ask after the quality of our food and see us out. If in Vung Tau and after a western meal, then you should look up this place as one possible option!

So the missus and I decided to give this place a go after reading quite a number of glowing reviews here, but also to take a wee break from vietnamese cuisine. I'm not going to be brutal and harsh nor sound like an elitist a**hole, but I only want to be honest with our experience here- which was surprisingly underwhelming. The seafood paella was lacking in flavour to the point where I had to constantly sprinkle copious amount of salt and pepper, which is rather out of character of me. The rice was soggy and the base was wet, staggeringly unusual considering that the paella is Spain's national dish, so getting this quite off is... perplexing. I'm no chef but I reckon what it really needs is perhaps more paprika, safron/sofrito and a more robust broth to elevate this dish. Gambas was barely passable, however, what would probably help is searing the prawns beforehand. The accompanying sauce base is decentt but quite weak. The baked pieces of croutons(?) helped, but it probably needs more garlic, olive oil and paprika overall. Finally the lamb chops. Though cooked just right at medium rare, a little more charring would've really help to lift it further. Also not sure what were the toppings on the tomato halves, but we didnt think they were necessary. The only saving grace was the service and the complimentary home made fruity liquor. Then again it was a Monday night and it wasn't busy at all.

Was a frequent customer but I guess not anymore, their new menu is a downgrade, more expensive, worse food. We had shrimp and mango salad (didn't notice about the passion fruit sauce), the problem with this dish is none of the ingredients work with each other, and the overly sweet sauce makes the dish even more unbearable. I would recommend the goat cheese salad instead. Our 2nd dish was lamb bbq, before it was lamb chops, now it's a chunk of boring meat which is almost 600k, I would have ordered steak if I want that much meat. We weren't that fulfilling in the end but decided to get the bill and just left for dessert in another place. It's disappointing and sad at the same time how I used to hang out with friends here so many times. Update after having a heart to heart talk with the store employee or manager: they gave me an apology then started making excuses then demand that I should take the review off google map 🙂 yeah nah

I only questioned the texture of bread side dish. Except that, I liked the dishes what I ordered, especially the flavor of mushroom. If I were in Vung Tau, no doubt that I would be visit here again.

Good restaurant with nice trained staff. The tuna tartare is amazingly fresh and red, the pasta was good and the crepe with salted butter caramel was delicious, not too sweet. They even let us try a taster of draught beer for free. Only deception is the free bread that is just average.

Lamb chops are juicy. The food is perfect for me. They use natural day light so my food photos are too white and miss some bounce lights. Suggest to turn on interior lighting for better ambiance.

Must have when you are in Vung Tau. The seafood paella is top notch, burger and creamy penne pasta wonderful. Overall a lovely experience dining here.

Good vibe, But I don’t really feel the French cuisine, the quality is just average, the lamb and duck were dry and not juicy

I recently dined at DONQUIJOTE restaurant and was blown away by the delicious food and impeccable service. The warm and inviting atmosphere as soon as you step inside really sets the tone for a wonderful dining experience. The menu features a range of dishes that showcase the chef's creativity and passion for French cuisine, with something to satisfy every palate. I particularly enjoyed the perfectly cooked steak and delicate seafood dishes. Although prices were slightly higher than before, the quality of the food and service was definitely worth the investment. Overall, I highly recommend DONQUIJOTE restaurant to anyone who appreciates French cuisine and wants to indulge in a memorable dining experience.

Good food. Good seating. The restaurant opens quite late at 11. The offerings are decent, limited but great quality. I wished they had breakfast selection. Tried their burger, it’s nice. Service is decent. And seating is great. A gem in Vung Tau. Do visit

Best meal in our trip to Vung Tau!!! Every dish was made with love and passion. The chief also makes wine from fruits and offered 01 free glass to every customer (5 colorful glasses in the pix). They taste amazing. Thanks so much for letting us have a relaxing and delicious lunch.

I like Vietnamese food, don't let that dilute this review. As my wife and I noted, we'd like a change of menu every now and then. This was a brilliant and welcoming visit. We booked, but it wasn't really needed. Note that the phone number on facebook is the correct one. The restaurant is spacious, clean and well dressed. Staff is welcoming, friendly and attentive. Food is very much what it promises to be; very tasty, European, chef's standards and well presented. I could've easily spend a whole evening here. Do note that the prices reflect the exclusivity but are still very reasonable. Thank you for making our anniversary one to remember, positively.

My friend and I were yesterday. What can I say, the interior is great. The waiters are very nice and fast. From food we ordered 5 dishes. PORK TIRRINE - is delicious, The duck is excellent cooked, but the mushrooms, mush potatoes and goat cheese salad were terrible.

😐 Taste was ok. But portions were too small for their prices. The sea snails themselves were small as well.
