Very well-known bánh khọt restaurant in Vũng Tàu that lots of locals recommend to visit. The food is tasty & good, but the restaurant is not quite clean though. Reasonable prices for a dish (65k or higher depends on add-ons) & staffs are friendly. If you visit Vũng Tàu city, don’t forget this one! :D

It is the most famous shop of Bánh Khọt, a specialty of Vung Tau. Not only tourists but also many locals use it because it is a very clean shop and the price is reasonable. Be sure to try the most popular shrimp Bánh Khọt, pork Bánh Khọt and fish Bánh Khọt. This time, I also ordered the Bánh xèo. The Bánh xèo that came out was bigger than any Bánh xèo I've eaten so far, which surprised me. The taste of Bánh xèo is average. For drinks, we recommend Rau Ma, a classic Vietnamese green juice.

Very clean. There are only a few hundred insects. Some people are in the soup, in the heart, in the vegetables. Nutrition should be very good.

Very famous place for Banh Khot, even local people prefer this place over others. The place is super busy but it’s not clean as expected. Staff is nice, waiting time for food is reasonable. The food is good, we like Banh khot Tôm. Cleanness need to be improved, this is why I gave 4stars.

Food quality is top-notch. Both Shrimp and Squid 'Banh khot' are really tasty and feel fresh. The cleanliness...let's just say there's alot of room for improvement. Would clearly recommend to anyone (that don't have problems with sanitization).

My VN wife keep saying its famous here. Yeah its a one stop Vietnamese food, they have everything here. Yeah its famous many years back. The Review 3.5k wow! But the food banh khot is not really that wow and nice anymore. The fish sauce they provide is tasteless and dulitued. The standard have drop. You can eat the same elsewhere down the street with motorbike even better and tasty at Bánh khọt Cây Tre 60k-65k only. If you dont believe you can try compre yourself. The bun thit nuong is the worst food i have ever eat tasteless. Not up to my expectation. Staff cannot speak english and have attitude problem. Don't waste your time and money here.

Delicious Bánh Khọt with good service. Súp Cua, Bún Cá and coconut are also tasty. The atmosphere makes you feel trendy but old due to the mix of new and conventional decorations such as Christmas music and trees with images of Vung Tau a long time ago. My only negative feeling is that the price is kinda high and only worth trying once as a traveller.

A very decent and traditional place to try the famous cuisine in Vung Tau if you’re not up for the local crowded seatings. The prices are surprisingly reasonable. It’s also very neat and clean plus quick service. I recommend the banh khot and rau ma drink or pennywort.

Its a banh khot restaurant and they are great! Do not, however, order the com tam - it was awful!

We had Banh Khot, Bun Thit Nuong and Bun Bo Hue. Everything was really delicious, price was middle range. The Banh Khot was really tasty compared to other places we had tried. Nice decorated restaurant and good climatised.

Lovely place to have bánh khọt and other local food Quick serving Nice staff Very crowded place The space is big The price is reasonable. I had 1 plate of bánh khọt for 75k, 3 small bowls of bánh đúc for 30k I enjoyed them all

First off the food was great. I had the Banh Khot Thap Cam and my girlfriend had the Banh Khot Tom. They remind me of flautus in Mexican cuisine. But these are fried up nice and crispy. No side dish but worth the ride to get there. The young lady that first helped us didn't seem to want to be there (I wonder why) but others tried to help us out as much as possible. All in all it was worth the price paid.

Havent try out the hotel but the restaurant is very nice. Friendly staff, delicious food but the atmosphere is not very good. Its crowded all the time and pretty hot inside

Authentic Vietnamese food and affordable price. Bánh xèo is giant here! One is enough for 2 people, and then order something else to complete your meal. Coconut water was really good also. We didn’t wait for long time, they served us quickly. No complaints, true Vietnamese restaurant, recommend👍🏻

Food is always excellent but the service can be a bit surly. There are other places for banh khot, but this is the most popular. I think their other restaurant nearby are better

If you and we go Vung Tau don’t miss this delicious Banh Khot cooking on spot, the pancakes is so delicious crispy with little calamari and the fish sauce tasted perfect we all loved 🥰 we back to town we back again again 👍

Pretty good but not amazingly mind blowing - here’s what you’ll be trying: Bánh Khọt is a traditional Vietnamese dish, originating from the southern regions of the country. They are mini-sized, crispy pancakes made from rice flour, coconut milk, and turmeric, which give them a beautiful, light yellow color. They're typically topped with fresh shrimp and served with a variety of fresh vegetables and a tangy dipping sauce known as "nước chấm." Bánh Khọt is often enjoyed as a snack or a light meal. It's similar to another Vietnamese dish called Bánh Xèo, but it's smaller and thicker.

Got recommended to this restaurant. Really happy about it. A must try is Banh Khot. It is a 5 of 5. 💯💯💯

Very good taste. Banh cot is crispy. 70K vnd for 6 pcs. Recommended restaurant in Vung Tau.

Waitresses here are highschoolers, so they're inexperienced which explains the unfriendliness in their manner. However, nothing can explain the saltiness of my noodle. Guess the cook cries so much while making the soup his tears fall into the mixture.. daym.. never taste a bowl that salty before. It tastes like the sea. Is it a good point? 3 stars.

One of the few restaurants with real wooden tables instead of the common low plastic tables. They don't accept bank card. They took away my coconut drink while I was in the toilet even though I hadn't finished it

Spacious restaurant with affordable price (65k VND for a set of “banh khot” in the photo), nice staff, pretty good service. Should avoid rush hour of lunch or dinner

  • 5/5 Tuong H. 1 year ago on Google
Tasty food, friendly & helpful staffs (from the waiters to the toilet cleaner), reasonable price for the amount of food you get. I will recommend Banh Xeo and Banh Khot. The restaurant was just a bit small, especially the toilet. Will definitely come back.

Excellent food, attentive and knowledgeable staff. Quality place with open air. A party of 12. We all enjoyed our lunch. They suggest you lower the music, so your customers can enjoy their conversation and staff can care for their tables more easy. Will enjoy the everytime we return. Hope they accept credit cards next visit. Thank you.

Banh Khot is tasty when dipping in sweet fish source. However, I’d not recommended to order beef. It’s too sticky to chew. Beef steak is really thin and dry. The price is reasonable as well as staff’s services.

    Great banh knot. Great prices.

Untrained servers, waiting 20M for payment. All servers doing some but no any output. Just madness. I saw 🪳 on the floor. Not clean, sad service and finally taste getting worse. No any more thanks!!

😐 Taste was ok. But portions were too small for their prices. The sea snails themselves were small as well.
