This brand Ông Già Cali is famous for over 4years, that’s y ppl (tourists) come and try a lot bcuz they r curious. The taste is normal nowadays (or just here) , not too special like its name. With 69.000VND/1bowl (3$) is quite expensive for locals, so mostly ppl try here is tourists. I’m MSG person ( ppl get allergy to seasoning powder), i can feel MSG a lots in it. So don’t try it if you are a MSG allergy. Bcuz there are a lot of ppl, that’s y i wait too long to get my breakfast. It’s opened for breakfast-lunch-dinner time

The squid/prawn Hu Trieu is awesome! Not your typical chicken or pork or beef soup... and no wonder it so popular with the locals. Ingredients are fresh and the service is very efficient.

Very fresh shrimp and squid, delicious seafood rice noodles soup, that's the only one dish they sell. Reasonable price, quite clean restroom, but no air conditioning room, so it's hot at the afternoon.

Too expensive, around 80-90k VND for one bowl. Maybe it's the "tourist" price. There are other places with half of the price and taste much better.

The most regretful meal I had on this trip to Vietnam. I already ordered a "special" one for 65k. However the portion was sooooo small. There were only four pieces of small squids in the bowl. That's ok maybe those squids are very expensive, but you couldn't expect even the noodle was very limited in portion, which you can't tell from the first glance as it's inside the soup. That's not even 1/3 of a normal meal. I had to look for another restaurant immediately just to not get hungry. What a waste of time! Considering you can have a two-dishes rice with fish and meat for just 30k in this town, 65k was definitely a rip-off, a scam! Most probably they gave me as little as possible seeing I'm a foreigner. Don't come if you look like a foreigner and don't come if you can't speak the local language like a native. Go to another honest restaurant instead!

Fresh shrimp & squid, 1 bowl was just enough to make you full, located near the central, BUT noodles tasted too average compared to the price (89.000 VND). The service was OK but not really helpful, the cashier was really rude.

Hu tieu muc and tom is very good collaborated with Nuc mia. Unfortunately, this restaurant is not served nuc mia compared with other franchise. But, they bring the nuc mia from side of restaurant for me. Hence, staff is very kind and ofcourse food perfectly delicious. This restaurant becomes my one of favorites restaurant in VT.😁

Squid rice noodle soup is a relatively famous dish in Vung Tau. We selected this location because it's spacious and seems to have lots of customers. However, we found dish to be average. Perhaps we expected it to be tastier...

Decent dishes, pricey but plenty of squids to chew on... 😂

The squid is so fresh and tender, soup is full of flavours. The whole dish is so tasty and delicious, highly recommend to try.

Reality good Hu Tieu, clean and fresh. The place is often very crowded on the weekends in the morning so go early or late to get the best service. The quail eggs are delicious. Highly recommend
