I haven't been going to the Esch bakery for years and only because the customer service there is a disaster. My husband tried it a few more times now. The showcase is full, opening times online: 07:00 am. You will be taught otherwise on site at 8:00 a.m. And instead of politely rejecting my husband, he is told in a very unfriendly manner that it's not her problem. What I find funny is that I had exactly this situation in the past that was the final straw. My complaint has so far been ignored. It's a shame when such a long-established bakery is no longer interested in long-term customer loyalty.

We wanted to have a leisurely breakfast and asked the older lady at the counter where we could sit. The woman only asked us to use the tables at the front in the entrance area, at that moment a colleague who was not on duty intervened and pointed out to her colleague that there were still tables in the back area, which didn't suit the colleague who was on duty and she whispered excitedly to the other colleague. We then preferred to leave again because we didn't want to force ourselves.

The cake is incredibly tasty, the staff is really friendly. It's best to stop by on a Wednesday afternoon and if nothing is available, decimate the cake selection and be there earlier next time or simply make a reservation. A nice little bakery that also offers brunch. A real insider tip 👍 Unfortunately there is no wheelchair-accessible entrance and the toilet is in the basement and can only be reached via stairs.

I paid a whopping €5.20 for a cheese roll with egg!!!!! I thought it was a mistake when the waitress brought me the bill. Now I know why she insisted that I sit down first. And when I started eating, she came with a piece of paper with the price written on it. RIP-OFF AND SNEAKY. Absolutely no recommendation!!!!!!!!!!!

I ordered a Weckmann despite the incomprehensible, completely overpriced price of €2.75!!! (Nobis, Moss and Leo only €2.30). This one didn't appeal to me at first glance, because it didn't have the sugar lumps I loved so much, nor a pipe, nor raisin eyes. Instead he had a small cherry lollipop stuck in his side. When I unpacked it, I was disappointed again because my Weckmann was also missing half a leg. He also obviously seemed to be male, which you could see between his legs (coincidence🤭). When I took a bite of my Weckmann, I also realized that I didn't like it at all. Far too blandly dry and hardly any sugar, butter or milk in the dough like I know from other good bakeries. Rather, it somehow just tasted like a cheap, dry mare's weck from the discount store. Too bad☹️👎. This bakery won't see me a second time for a Weckmann and then for this proud price.😧

The baked goods in this bakery are always fresh and of excellent quality. Whether rolls, bread or sweet treats, you can always find something to suit your taste here. The service is always friendly and accommodating. The staff takes time for customers and is happy to advise them on their selection. As a customer you really feel welcome and in good hands here. Another plus point is the sufficient number of parking spaces right in front of the door. This makes shopping easier and you don't have to worry about finding a parking space. All in all, I can only warmly recommend the Esch bakery. Here you can get fresh baked goods, friendly service and convenient parking. An absolute recommendation for anyone looking for a high quality bakery.

Bakery and pastry shop with very tasty baked goods such as rolls, bread, prints,... In our own café and also to take away there are the most delicious cakes from Frankfurter Kranz, to Black Forest Cherry, to the most unusual cream and marzipan cakes. Each one a poem! In constantly new shapes, colors, flavors or with other fruits. The last description is particularly worthwhile on Wednesdays, but tastes just as delicious on any other day! 😉
