I was positively surprised by how good the hotel is for the price. Positive: + Price + Air conditioned was welcomed on a +30°C day + Free cold lemonade in the reception + The shower is bigger than the standard + Water cooker and free coffee/tea/ water in the room + Quiet. I did not hear any noise + Parking right in front of the hotel Negative: - The bathroom had a glass sliding door instead of a real normal door, so there was limited privacy (sounds and smells are not isolated). You can see your room partner sitting on the toilet if you want (There is a small gap between door and wall.). - The shower was not easy to use. Probably lack of maintenace made the water control hard to turn. - The air/smell from the bathroom has no other path out than through the room. Of course none of these things are an issue of you stay alone. All in all, for the price a quite solid hotel.

Super clean and luxurious looking hotel. We stayed at the same hotel in Hamburg and again, we where so glad we did! The bed might be the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in, at a hotel. Nice looking room and bathroom. We left feeling very relaxed

I've booked 2 rooms The staff at night did not speak any English at all. Rooms not very clean Overpriced compared with holiday inn did not even include breakfast. The only good thing it includes car park An it's very quiet area.

We stopped at this hotel after a long drive with our two dogs. The staff was extremely nice, there was a parking lot, the room was very clean and they had prepared two bowls with a bed for my dogs. There was an amazing walk-in shower, every detail was taken care of. Highly recommended

The property presents well from the road, but that's about it. Poor location for getting out to explore and find something to do. Restaurant organisation was shocking, so we had to get takeaway pizzas. Town not very inviting. Long walk to a poor selection of bars and restaurants. Poor internet. All in all a bad experience.

Stayed one night, a Saturday. Front desk personnel were helpful and courteous. Room was clean and bed comfortable. HOWEVER< the dining room and bar are not open on the weekends. My wife and I were looking forward to having drinks and dinner in the hotel so that I would not have to drive after drinking at an external location. No such luck!!! Sunday morning breakfast food selection was good. However, one of the staff loudly and rudely admonished my wife for picking up a plate at the buffet, telling her hat plates were on the table! Can't figure the logic behind that as all the guests were touching the same serving utensils.......no plastic gloves. My stay was fine except the two issues mentioned above. The price was fair for the room. Lose the two tall back orange chairs with the very worn seats that adorn the lobby.

Good price for a room + free parking. The room was very nice but the air conditioning did not work. Since we had to have the window open, it was a bit noisy from the restaurant below. The internet was good, too. The shower was super hard to use but the bathroom was nice We did not make a reservation for dinner although we were offered one so we were happy to find that all tables but one inside were empty. We had the chance to review the menu but we were kindly ask to leave since there was a single lady working who could not accept any additional customers. She was very kind and she was clearly way too busy so we left. What we do not understand is why the hotel did not ensure enough personnel - it is not like there are any other restaurants close by (only when one goes downhill).

Average hotel offering on weekends an affordable B+B rate. A bit outside of Völklingen, no restaurants or shops in walking distance. A car is needed. Ample and free parking available.

Great hotel. Clean room with a nice view over Völklingen. We enjoyed the 2 saunas in the basement (nobody else was there on a Saturday night). Wouldn't hesitate to go back there

I just the entire experience was excellent and every member of staff were extremely professional and polite.

I might say , that the price for Bar 🍸 and Restaurant is to expensive 🤔. If you want to try something else to eat or drink, you need a car ,cause there's nothing else near by. 😉

Good price indeed for a hotel. Dinner was a bit on the expensive side so probably they’re earning their main revenue from that. +/-€60 for 2 people and the food is average. Cocktails were nice though. The room is okay, no view whatsoever but it’s doable. There were teabags but no kettle and when we asked for it they said ‘it always get stolen’ and we had to go downstairs to the lobby to pick it up.. you could bring it to us though.

Didn't have a great service from reception on arrival. Had a 15min wait before anyone came, and there was a queue of people behind me. Room either didn't let me in or when it did the electricity didn't work and instead of helping, I was sent up and down in the lift several times. I was told there were no rooms I could be moved into instead and it was only after I went onto the booking site and told the staff that I was upgraded to a suite. Rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. Location is good for travel. Food was good but we felt a bit rushed.

All was Fine, it was a confortable Stay and there was nothing to complain about. We will recommend this hotel to our friends and family.
