This
trip
to
Petra
and
Wadi
Rum
was
not
the
best
experience
compared
to
last
year
one.
First,
they
charged
us
a
full
price
for
our
8
year
old
kid
like
an
adult
which
is
fine
if
our
room
was
different
that
what
two
people
paid.
We
got
a
room
with
three
beds
as
we
paid
for
but
other
groups
of
two
people
for
also
the
same
room
as
our
and
only
paid
for
two.
Not
fair.
Last
year
they
only
asked
us
to
pay
for
the
kid
seat
on
the
bus
whicis
15
JD
since
he
sleeper
any
way
between
us.
Second,
you
would
expect
the
bus
guide
to
speak
at
least
both
Arabic
and
English
but
this
was
not
the
case
this
year.
I
had
to
explain
and
translate
everything
to
my
American
friends.
Luckily
they
were
transferred
to
another
bus
from
Rum
to
Aqaba
which
had
a
great
guide,
Amjad,
who
spoke
English
to
them
and
took
care
of
them
since
our
trip
was
to
Perta
and
Wadi
Rum
only.
The
lunch
this
year
was
at
a
5-star
restaurant
which
was
good
but
was
not
as
good
as
the
restaurant
from
last
year
which
was
my
oriental
and
traditional.
The
food/buffet
was
good
with
variety
but
if
you
come
last,
you
will
not
find
any
meat
just
the
rice.
They
did
not
provide
enough
portions.
Last
year,
the
food
was
amazing
and
plenty
to
fill
even
twice
if
not
three
times.
Perta
trip
is
great,
but
based
on
the
schedule,
you
get
there
around
10
am
and
you
have
to
do
the
tour
during
the
hot
summer
and
you
only
have
like
2
hrs
to
tour
everything
which
is
not
enough.
Wadi
Run
is
also
our
favorite
especially
the
jeep
evening
tour
and
the
dinner
is
amazing.
However,
this
year
we
had
to
pay
for
the
water
and
beverages
which
is
weird
since
it
is
a
buffet.
We
did
not
do
that
last
year
as
everything
was
included.
Beverages
were
very
expensive
and
you
need
them
for
the
hot
weather.
I
learned
that
I
need
to
pack
my
beverages
and
snack
from
home
as
it
will
save
a
lot
of
money.
I
saw
some
people
having
a
smaller
cooler
filled
with
beverages
which
was
a
great
idea.
The
bus
will
stop
you
on
multiple
rest
houses
on
the
way
but
they
expensive.
Which
is
expected.
But
the
company/guides
should
not
take
advantage
of
that
to
get
commission
on
the
expense
of
their
customers.
For
example,
from
Wadi
Rum
to
Petra,
the
bus
stopped
three
times
and
the
first
one
was
five
minutes
after
leaving
Wadi
Rum
after
breakfast
to
get
coffee,
why??!!
So
guide
and
bus
driver
can
get
free
things
and
commission?
I
prefer
and
recommend
having
a
rip
jar
in
the
bus
for
those
people
as
they
might
get
more
this
way
from
happy
customers
than
just
stopping
the
bus
to
do
that.
That
will
save
a
lot
of
time
to
enjoy
the
trip
more.
Some
of
the
stops
make
sense
like
at
the
beginning
after
along
drive
not
not
all
of
them.
We
liked
the
Aqaba
trip
as
well
as
our
American
friends
this
year
but
we
both
did
not
like
the
lunch
on
the
boat
tour
we
felt
is
was
not
safe
to
eat.
However,
it
is
recommended
to
have
the
Aqaba
trip
separate
from
Perta
and
wadi
rum
to
enjoy
the
beach
especially
at
Ayla
(highly
recommended
if
you
can
offers
a
5-star
hotel).
Next
time,
we
may
think
doing
our
own
trip
by
ourselves.
Keep
you
posted.
