Good food for a reasonable price. The view from the sun terrace is awesome! Service is second-to-none (thanks to our now-favourite waitress).

Take the cable car, drive a car, take the bus, or walk them steep hills. I don't care how you get up here just get up here. The view along is well worth it.

Just about the most beautiful view and absolutely delectable rustic casual Bavarian cuisine, best I had among the many venues I visited! Very kind service from the gentleman on the patio. Indoors is beautiful too. Bring cash, no cards accepted.

We came too late to dine here, but the hostess, in true Bavarian fashion, was willing to accommodate us anyway. We opted to go elsewhere because the kitchen had already closed and we didn't want to make them reopen on our behalf. The restaurant's setting is gorgeous and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. We will make a point of visiting next time we are in the Obersalzberg.

THE BEST restaurant of the area! The service even better. It was always my best place to go once I lived in the area for around 3 years. Everything you order will be amazing, but the warm cheese cake or the Keiserachmarrn are a MUST!!!

We stayed here for a night while visiting Konigssee and Salzburg. The food was great and the staff was very friendly. The view is amazing, the Alps are beautiful from up here. The room is nice and cozy. The only improvements I would want from this place is the ability to accept card and blackout curtains, because our child has a hard time sleeping when the room is bright. Everything else was perfect.

I cannot say more about this place other than, it's a must!!! The view, the people, the service, THE SOMMERRODDELBAHN!!!! Whether you hike to it or drive, the balcony seating will make you forget everything about who you are and then the food comes out. Me and my family ate here twice during our nine days and did our best to span the whole menu. I can honestly say there was not a single thing we tried we didn't love or highly like! It has a playground for when the young ones get bored, the beer is always flowing, and the local hikers (on weekends) are always laughing.

Lovely local restaurant to have food and enjoy the view after a long hike. I ordered fish and Kaiserschmarrn with apple sauce and they were very tasty. The lady who takes the order is very friendly and the service is amazing.

The Schweinefilet with pepper sauce is amazing. There are two playground areas for the kids. One with a zip line and the other with a slide, swings, and a trampoline. Pet friendly — they bring water for your dog.
