It's hard to rate resorts in Maui because they're all kind of bad unless you're shelling out crazy amounts of money. This one, like most, is fine. The location is excellent, but we were also in the building closest to the pool/beach access, so that made it even better. Walking to the beach took about 3 minutes or less, if we hoofed it. So that was fantastic, and we went to chill on the beach every single day. The pool was also nice, with a great and fantastic pavilion. The view from the pool area is the ocean, which is awesome. The pool area also opens right up to the beach. This particular beach also wasn't too crowded, which was nice. The room itself was nothing fantastic. Very outdated. The curtains are dirty and spotted and need to be replaced badly. Being on the ground floor we saw a few bugs (one cockroach I killed and two that were dying) and there were a good half dozen bug corpses under the bed when we first got in. When we complained, they were kind enough to come vacuum them up that afternoon, but it would have been nice if we hadn't needed to call in. It was quite clean otherwise. The couch was also not nice to relax on in the evenings, which was a shame. The best part was just having a full condo with a full kitchen and a washer/dryer. We enjoyed being here, but wouldn't come back unless they gave the rooms a real renovation.

We stayed in condo 7A in early February, 2022. Very disappointing accommodation. The condo was super outdated. The kitchen and bathrooms looked like they had not been updated for 30 years. When we got glasses and dishes out of the cabinets we had to rinse before use because they smelled so musty. The worst part, by far, was the 30-year-old carpeting. Gross. When we complained, the management said we could upgrade to a 2-bedroom unit if we wanted to pay more. What a joke. Whey would we want to give this place a bonus? We were already paying $600+ for this dump. What a rip-off. Very poor management from Destination Residences.

Beautiful grounds on a gorgeous, white sand beach. The landscaping was incredibly beautiful and well taken care of, as were the pool facilities. There were family sections and "quiet" sections, which was very nice for couples without their children.

Rented a condo on Virbo unit was close to road so road noise not much around but restaurants next door. Access to kid friendly beach and really nice Pavillion to hang out and get clean to watch the sunset.

Update to my previous post... I went to the office and asked about procedures before placing guests in a unit...they said they are cleaned and inspected. I then confirmed that yes, they knew our carpets were a mess, there were rips in the furniture and the bathroom was a mess. And yes it is their policy to still put guests in regardless of the mess. What is worse is that they are not cleaning until the end of the month which means several other guests will be put in this same dirty unit without a care from the management. Prepaying 2 weeks in advance holds us hostage so we could not leave or change resorts without losing thousands of dollars. Choose better then we did and go direct to the owners. Destination management doesn't care, unfortunately, they have no pride in their product, and they say it with a smile ๐Ÿ˜”

The public areas of the resort are very nice. Our unit was "old and tired", with a tiny apartment sized refrigerator, cabinet and drawer fronts that were loose or falling off, and notes everywhere of what "not" to do.

Perfection, or as close to it as possible. Perfect landscaping, perfect beach access. Minor quibbles are that the units are starting to age, but I felt that we got an amazing price for a fantastic space in a wonderful neighborhood.

Gorgeous views from the balconies. Quiet pools (no children) are very relaxing. Will come again.

Close to the beach but it was built in the late 1970s. Unless you rent a newly remodeled unit, it will be dated and worn. Pool next to the beach is nice. Grounds expansive.

Condos are clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The grounds are meticulous, and the on-site amenities include two pools, private beach access, and a pool house with full kitchen services. Numerous dining and recreational options (golf, waterworks, etc) are within walking distance. Exceeded all expectations!

The pavilion is great! Easy access to the beach - no roads to cross like other spots.

Our home away from home. We stay here every tome we are on Maui. Great units, beautiful grounds, amazing location and nice pool and pavilion.

Great location. Easy to find. Unfortunately the people above us and their kids were very noisy as walls are thin and respect isn't common these days. The unit only had 2 bathrooms (one located in each bedroom) while I had to spend a night on the couch due to additional company needing the bedroom, I was left with no bathroom to use. You also need to be ok with bugs or you will be driven crazy. Garbage and recycles need to be emptied daily for this reason. There are also no curtains in the livingroom or kitchen so everyone can see in as they are walking by. Check-in/out was easy. Parking is a breeze. Close to beach. Keyless entry. Bit expensive for what you get compared to other destinations I've been to. Would return but would request a top floor unit closer to the beach.

Amazing sunset views from multiple locations on the manicured grounds. Classy and comfortable rooms with the best stock of kitchen utensils and cook wear. Private access to the beach and very close to the walking path.

Thereโ€™s a reason why this is the only place weโ€™ve ever stayed on Maui. Itโ€™s convenient. Itโ€™s quiet. Great property to free range your kids on. The pool and beach access is perfect. Plus the gardens are sublime.

We had a group of about 30 people stay over the last week for a 10 year anniversary celebration. Each condo has a different owner so they were all at different levels of being updated, but all of them were nice. While my condo was by far they best, they were all clean and well-equipped. The back pool and beach access are amazing for gatherings, they have a fantastic community area at Wailea Ekahi with a full kitchen area on the water. The sunsets from this property leave you speechless! While we didn't necessarily have a great experience with the older woman that works security, there was no way she could ruin such a great trip for our extended family. We will absolutely return!

Perfect! Wailea Ekahi village is truly a destination! Our condo was clean and comfortable and completely stocked. We had everything we needed for our 10 days on the island. With a full kitchen and kitchen tools, washer/dryer, bath tub in the bathroom and a walk out patio with chairs, an umbrella and cooler to take down to the beach all we had to do was buy some groceries. It was nice not to have to go out for every meal, we not only used the kitchen daily but also used the many bbq/grills around the property. There are 5 swimming pools so you can always find a quiet spot to swim and a short walk right down to the beach. These condos are a 12 minute walk from the shops at wailea for food, drinks, shopping and groceries and one beach over from the start of the wailea beach trail that takes you down to all the resorts( easy bar access)

The design, layout, and build quality of the condos is spectacular. The downside is that most of them have not had a full renovation since they were built 25 years ago. The grounds are gorgeous, but the sheer amount of upkeep for the golf course-quality lawn and gardens means that there's landscaping every single day from 9 to 3, complete with blowers, mowers, golf carts full of dirt and implements clattering by, and gardeners tending tropical and invasive mainland shrubbery eliminates the chance of quiet privacy. It is inescapable. The location is unmatched in Wailea. Ekahi has the easiest access to the resorts and also Kihei of any place in the area. Overall, I'd recommend this place if you're here on business or intend to be or for most of the day. Romantic retreat it is not.

Loved this place. Near a great beach and the condo was immaculate.

Wonderfully managed property, with exceptional community amenities. Beach location is amazing, views of Pacific perfect, including from the well furnished and comfortable unit. Space (personal space included, essential in these times) is amazing. All amenities one would want, with easy access to dining and shopping in Wailea and its resorts, but without the crowding one may experience at the standard hotels.

Absolutely one of the most beautiful landscaped resorts on the island gated guarded community absolutely beautiful. As my company delivers flowers there I have met some of the nicest people and am grateful to be a part of their aloha

These are beautiful little condos with fantastic greenery surrounding them. The BBQs were moved off the decks so pictures are out of date. The pools were clean and well maintained. We will be back!
