The garden is really beautiful. It's cool to see the names of plants you recognize but had never seen what they look like prior to consumption - coffee and chocolate, to name a couple. And the whip - SO good!

Stopped by the Dole Plantation and didn’t do the train ride, but the place itself is really cute. The highlight for me was the pineapple ice cream—super refreshing and tasty, especially with fresh pineapple on top and coconut flakes. I didn’t try any of the fast food, but the menu had a few options for those who want a bite. The garden area is nice, with birds, fish, and a few fun spots for pictures. It’s a good place to walk around and soak in the tropical vibes. Worth a visit if you’re in the area, especially for the ice cream! 🍍I wouldn't necessarily plan to stay more than an hour.

It was almost our last day in Hawaii, and we had some free time, so we decided to try the world famous pineapple ice cream. To be honest, while it was incredibly fresh, we found it a bit too sweet for our taste. However, our visit was still worthwhile! We also took a fun train ride around the fruit farm, which added to the experience. Overall, it was fun.

This is a great place to visit busy as well. Hard to say the best time to visit. Fun activities to do around the place train ride, maze, and gift shop. On the train ride there was not many pineapple maybe because of the time(march). Bot overall experience is great.

Beautiful grounds. The Dole Whip was very good. The gift shop is big and fun. Just crowded. Would have rode the train, but the wait was an hour and didn't think it was worth the money to pay for the Shaka Pass. Fun place for families.

We visited the Dole Plantation on a beautiful Wednesday afternoon and had a blast! The train ride was a huge hit with the kids—they loved every minute of it. The gardens were fun to explore, offering plenty to see and enjoy as we walked around. You have to try a Dole Whip—it was an easy 10/10! We also ordered the fresh pineapple from the food court, and it was some of the sweetest, most delicious pineapple I’ve ever had. Yes, things are on the pricier side, but hey—you’re on vacation! It’s definitely worth a visit, and it’s super kid- and toddler-friendly. Highly recommend checking it out!

Our visit to the Dole Plantation was a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The train ride gave us a great view of the plantation and its peaceful surroundings. The facility is very well maintained—spotlessly clean and definitely worth visiting. They offer a wide selection of pineapple-related products, and we picked up a spicy pineapple jam. Of course, we couldn’t leave without trying the famous Pineapple Dole Whip!

Visiting the Dole Plantation in Hawaii was such a fun and unique experience. We took a ride on the Pineapple Express train tour, which was both scenic and informative—it gave us a great look at the history of pineapple farming on the island and the beautiful landscape surrounding the plantation. After the train, we enjoyed one of their famous pineapple desserts—absolutely refreshing and packed with flavor. The Dole Whip is a must-try! The gift shop was also a highlight, full of local goodies, souvenirs, and pineapple-themed everything. Whether you’re into history, sweet treats, or just looking for a relaxing and family-friendly stop, the Dole Plantation has something for everyone. A great spot to add to your Hawaii itinerary!

We stopped by the Dole Plantation and it was a fun experience! It's really cool to see and learn about the history of the plantation, and of course, the Dole Whip is AMAZING. The grounds are beautiful and it's great to walk around and explore. It has free parking and no entry fee. The shopping area is adorable, with everything pineapple you can imagine. The only downside is that it's PACKED with people, so be prepared for crowds. We didn't end up doing any of the extra activities like the train tour or maze, but just walking the grounds and checking out the shop was still worth it. If you're a pineapple lover, Dole Plantation is definitely worth a visit!

While the Dole Plantation wasn't originally on our agenda, we're so glad we decided to make the stop. This delightful destination offers a variety of attractions to suit all interests, making it a fantastic outing for individuals, families, or groups of friends. The **Botanical Garden** was the highlight of our visit. It's a stunning haven of tropical beauty, filled with an impressive array of exotic plants that are sure to captivate nature lovers. The garden features a charming little pond and is alive with wildlife—we were lucky enough to spot lizards wandering through the lush foliage, which added a touch of magic to the experience. Other activities include the **Train Ride**, which offers a leisurely tour of the plantation grounds, and the **Maze**, a fun and interactive way to explore the area. While we didn't try these ourselves, they seem like great options for anyone seeking additional entertainment. Inside, you'll find a **shopping area** brimming with unique products. Although the items are a bit on the pricey side, the plantation makes up for it with their signature treat: **soft pineapple ice cream**. It’s absolutely delicious and an absolute must-try! Overall, the Dole Plantation is a fantastic spot to spend a couple of hours. Whether you're soaking in the vibrant greenery, enjoying a sweet snack, or picking up souvenirs, this destination is sure to leave a lasting impression.

This was right along our route so we stopped in, otherwise I wouldn’t have stopped. There wasn’t much to do for free, despite what other reviews said. We paid for the train tour and it was fine, but definitely seemed like it could be updated for the $15 we paid. Dole whip was $9 but tasty. Honestly the highlight for me was getting to see some cats out behind the store, but other people in my group enjoyed it.

We stopped here to take the tour on the Dole express. The line was very long to go get tickets. You could buy them online if you wanted to pay extra. I was not really impressed with the train ride. If you go I suggest that you just do the garden and get some dole whip. The Dole Whip is scrumptious. That is a must do. Add the extra pineapple to it. The garden was very pretty. I would not really waste my time or money on the tour. The gift shop had lots of cute stuff though some of it was very pricey.
